This drama has a nice plot but it needed more episodes to flesh out the main characters. The female lead’s different skills are overly exceptional and how she acquired them is not properly explained; also, her personality, at some point toward the end, becomes childish and foolish. The male lead’s character is consistent and he truly shows his love, but the leading couple lacks chemistry and their romantic scenes are either constantly interrupted or lacked intimacy. There are some twists and turns that get better explain toward the end but it was not enough to save the drama from been overly ridiculous which, if it was an attempt to provide a comedic relief, it only served to leave the viewers scratching their heads. This drama is a comedy with a good blend of action, suspense, thrilling moments, and a very slow burned romance that ends up been cute for the most part with a few nice romantic moments. The cast, for the most part, did a good job bringing their characters to life and the transmigration story with the female lead trying to change the story but losing control of the plot was well written. The male lead, Ji Chu (played by Ding Ze Ren), did a great job portraying the antihero that has an excellent character growth and did very well showing his feelings toward the female lead, but the leading lady, Hua Qing Ge (played by Ireine Song), was written as a modern woman that transmigrates to the past but behaves like a teenager with some serious mistrusting issues, almost all the way to the end. She did well with her comedic lines but she was too stiff and feeble as a woman in love. Overall, the drama is quite enjoyable and entertaining; it has great cinematography and a beautiful and well suited OST. Was this review helpful to you?

Poisoned Love (2020) is a nice romantic comedy that can have one laughing at one moment, been annoyed at certain characters sometimes, and it definitely warms your heart as the leading’s couple relationship progresses and they get together. There is a causatory incident for each of the main characters that explains the almost fantastical soothing effect that the leading male has on the female lead that is revealed little by little throughout the drama and it is consider the mysterious aspect of the plot. Although the supporting actors have an important role in the lives of the leading couple and also their own stories and even when their advise was taken into consideration by the male lead and female lead respectively, it is nice to see that the leading couple remained loyal and unwavering toward each other even before they became a couple. Overall, even if the drama is not perfect, it is entertaining and the leading couple has great playful and romantic chemistry with very natural and realistic interactions. Enjoy it! This drama can be found on YouTube under the title: “Revenge to The Devil” Blind wife found husband's conspiracy and took perfect revenge”. Although the subtitles are not the best, which is a disgrace for this drama, the plot is a very good and smartly written revenge drama with a much better ending. The leading lady, Ai Lin / "Erin" deftly played by Jiang Shi Qi, is a strong and intelligent woman that, after been betrayed by her husband in the most heinous way and finding tha her son Dondon has disappeared, she reaffirms herself and steps on a path of revenge. By a chance encounter, she meets Luo Meijuan, a woman living miserably under the shadow of an abusive alcoholic husband, and the two formed a bond and helped each other to get away from their respective malevolent husbands. This drama is very well casted with great performances from the main characters Ai Lin (Jiang Shi Qi) and Wang Dao Tie as Wen Rick, Ai Lin’s Machiavellian second husband and the unscrupulous Inspector General of their police Department. This drama is not a romantic story, it is a great story about a woman who will do anything in order to protect her son and avenge her husband’s betrayal. Overall, the cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the drama is provocative and entertaining, enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?

Circle of Love is a well done period miniseries about revenge and the deep love that the leading couple had for each other in spite of the hatred brought up by misunderstandings. The leading couple did a great job delivering their characters and they had a solid chemistry whether they were hating or loving each other. There seems to be a misunderstanding about the male lead’s feelings toward the female lead; in every single time that they had a relationship, he always loved her but that love brought guilt and he would result to be cruel to her even if he was also hurting. He would lie out of fear of losing her and her hatred and hurt made her susceptible to manipulation from the antagonist. Although he really wanted to kill her parents as revenge, he was on his way to stop the explosion. To explain and see the ending as one that both leads deserved, one must understand that there have been many incidents in which people have survived such injuries. Obviously, they were badly hurt and neither of them knew that the other one had survived. Due to their professions, it is logical that they found each other in a war zone giving the drama a happy ending. This miniseries has a solid plot and is very entertaining. Enjoy it! Spoiler Alert!
Sword and Fairy 1 is a very good adaption from the video game "The Legend of Sword and Fairy" based on the Chinese original story “Chinese Paladin”. The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and most of the main characters were fantastic performing their roles. This is a fantasy wuxia with a beautiful romance story that, as many Chinese stories, fell prey to the fatidic concept that fate is immutable. Even though the leading couple has a very lovable chemistry and their love is faithful and steadfast, the fluidity of their romantic relationship was marred by the numerous separations. The lead female’s role, Zhao Ling Er, played by Yang Yu Tong, is a very sweet character but, because of that, her character doesn’t have the strong presence of a goddess. Even up to the last episode, she was hinting that she would be back when she had already accepted the fact that she was a sacrificial lamb. In the last interaction between the leading couple, it was the male lead who wailed in pain as she passively leapt into the abyss to kill the monster. There are three main characters that really did a very good job performing their roles: He Yu as the male lead Li Xiao Yao, Li Chuan as Liu Jin Yuan, and Xu Hao as Lin Yue Ru.It must be said that the drama really has great choreography, beautiful settings and costumes, and cinematography. Overall, except for the ending, the drama is entertaining.
