This is a very good Wuxia fantasy drama with a nice and steadfast romance. He had loved her for a thousand years and, at the end, he finds a way for them to be together, forever, in a world of their own. The drama is not without its faults but it is entertaining. The leading couple has a very sweet chemistry and their romantic scenes, although not many, are done nicely. The drama has decent choreographed action scenes and nice CGIs. Although the ending seems confusing, it can be interpreted as coming full circle and, with the containment of the evil spirits, Yan Yan comes back to her life as a child that grows into a mischievous woman that finds herself dreaming and missing a mysterious man who, at the end, brings her back into a painting where he’s been waiting for her to fulfill the promise that they will be together forever. As said before, even with some dragging and boorish moments, this drama provides good entertainment and a sweet romance. Enjoy it!

Come into this Wuxia drama knowing that there would (should) be a second and/or even a third season and you will not be disappointed. This drama is about Xu Feng Nian (Zhang Ruo Yun) and his journey to find out who murdered his mother and to establish the grounds to inherit the Kingdom of Northern Liang. Throughout the journey, and with his father’s strategies in place, he meets and befriends people with different martial arts abilities that help him developed his martial arts abilities which he has refused to learn until his closest friend Li Chun Gang [God of Sword] dies. There is a love interest, Jiang Ni (Teresa Li) that doesn’t developed into any romantic plot line but it is hinted for, most likely, second season, that they will be together. Overall, the story and action well played and developed. The drama is interesting and entertaining. Enjoy it!

First Love Again is a very good and well presented time travel romantic drama. The juxtaposition of past and present was cleverly done and the consequences of each action during the time travel were seen immediately post facto. The leading couple has great chemistry and they love each other steadfastly. The supporting cast and their interconnected stories were played out well and the actors did a great job delivering their characters. In this thoughtfully told fantasy drama, the leading couple did a great job presenting their character’s emotions and struggles while loving each other for the first time over and over again. Episodes 21 and 22 went a little too deep into the metaphysical explanation of the time machine but the last two episodes and the moments leading to a nice ending were fantastic. Enjoy it!

This is a nice costume romantic comedy wuxia. It is a lighthearted drama, the leading couple has a playful nice chemistry, and they remain steadfast and supportive of each other all the way throughout the drama. The drama has a few twists that kept the story going, decent action scenes, a precocious kid that brings a lot of humor and emotional sense to the drama, and a good supporting cast. Although the drama is very cliché and the ending could have been better, it is a good enough one to watch while waiting for a great one to come.

This is a really nice drama that could’ve been great if it was not for the supporting actors getting too much screen time building their relationships which interrupted the flow of the main leads relationship. The story is nice and the leading couple has very good chemistry; their love is steadfast and their looking out for their wellbeing. Although some of the supporting cast’s acting was not so great, the leading couple did a great job bringing their characters to life. The drama drags with the supporting cast’s storylines and the company’s problems but everything resolves quickly. Overall, the drama is not the best, but it is entertaining.

This is a great romantic historical drama where the leading couple has very good chemistry and well delivered romantic scenes. Although there are several other people leading into love triangles, it was great that not a single one of them turned out to be selfish and destructive toward the leading couple. The story is interesting with a good number of antagonists. Even that the storyline was about the affections of the King (Lee Hwi / Dam Yi), especially toward her beloved Jung Ji Woon, the King excelled in making righteous and calculated judgments toward those that lived their lives carrying out injustices for their personal gains, and Jung Ji Woo was equally ethical. The cast did a very good job delivering their characters but I must stressed that Park Eun Bin excelled on her portrayal of both the male and female characters that she played; also there is Yoon Je Moon, who marvelously portrayed the lead antagonist Han Ki Jae(Left State Councilor), the master conniver; and last but not least, Bae Soo Bin as Jung Seok Jo [Ji Woon's father], Han Ki Jae’s borrowed sword with a very conflicting personality that did all the wrong things in order to keep his family safe. . Overall, this drama is very entertaining, apart from a good storyline, it also has a beautiful and steadfast romance, good performances, beautiful costumes, good actions scenes, and great cinematography. Enjoy it!

This is a cute and lighthearted drama to watch while waiting for a great one to come. It has some really funny moments and, although it is full of clichés, the actors did a decent job bringing their characters to life. Even if it is more comedy than drama, the actor’s facial expressions were a bit off and the leading couple had more of a friendly chemistry than a romantic one. Also, the ending is an open ending as if it will have a second season. If it doesn’t have a second season, then it is a very insipid ending! (The OST is really nice!)

This drama is a fail attempt to create a romantic comedy with the leading lady been insufferable for most of the lakorn duration and a male lead that is constantly getting tangle with manipulative women and falls in love with the immature, rowdy, but lovely female lead. This drama revolves around a revenge plot with some of the most twisted elders. A father uses his son to plot revenge and a grandmother with no common sense; she adores Bee but helps Fon makes Bee’s life miserable fully knowing how selfish, manipulative, and calculating she was. Although the drama has a happy ending, there were too many ridiculous decisions that made no sense, thus taking away from the nice romance between the leading couple.

This is a nice remake of the Taiwanese original story “The Prince Who Turns into a Frog “ with Chao Zhang as Shan Jun Hao/Dang Ou and Joe Chen as Ye Tian Yu . There is also a Chinese remake “Waking Love Up” with Roy Chiu as Xiang Tian Qi and Tiffany Tang as Liu Xiao Bei. The drama is nice but, although the leading couple has good ongoing chemistry, their romantic scenes lack splendor, the plot drags a bit and clichés are abundant, and the characters’ development came and went too quick. All in all, even though it is not a great remake, it is entertaining.

This is an older nice drama to watch with Ji Sung as Kang Hyun Woo | Baek Chang Ho, Eugene as Ji Eun Soo, Ryu and Young as Jung Tae Min, and Lee Bo Young as Yoon Soo Jin. Although the acting from the leading actresses is not the best, Ji Sung did a great job keeping the drama interesting. The most aggravating aspect of this show was the voice intonation which did not indicate properly the attitudes and emotions of the characters, especially the female cast. The music is really nice and, overall, if you ignore some ridiculous clichés, the drama is entertaining.

This is a very nice series to watch while waiting for a great one to come! The leading couple has very good chemistry and. Although their romantic scenes were not passionate, they show tenderness and affection. The drama has some over the top acting that might’ve been intended to be humorous and also a very annoying antagonist with dissociative disorder, there are some dramatic moments that make the viewer interested. There is a very well done plot twist and a great relationship between Shi Xia and her brother, Shi Dong. Although the drama has its plot holes, over-the-top acting from some characters, and some not so good acting among some members of the cast, it also has a good storyline with a cute and steadfast romance between the leading couple, Shi Xia and Hou Chi.

This is a very good drama with great cinematography, customs, interesting and intelligent plot, and music. As long as the viewer is not looking for shivering romantic scenes, the drama is strong in relationships and character development. The leading couple has good chemistry, loves each other dearly, and is very smart and resolute. Although the ending is good, it could’ve been better since it feels rushed. The main and supporting cast did a great job bringing their characters to life. Overall, the drama is entertaining. Enjoy it!

This is a great wuxia adaptation from the novel The Glass Maiden. The love story is weaved into the world of martial arts with a good dose of revenge, mystery, and action. The actions scenes are very well done and the CGIs are great. Although there are some unnecessary issues among the leading couple, there’s character growth and steadfast love among them. The leading actors are both fantastic but the leading lady has the most growth of all the characters in the drama and she did an excellent job from an innocent and hopelessly bewildered girl to a strong woman who is able to stay true to her feelings and her persona. Even though the love story can be a bit frustrating at times because of the misunderstandings, the leading couple has great chemistry and it is beautiful how the they love and protect each other. The supporting cast did a great job also bringing their characters to life and there are two actors that made the drama much better, Han Cheng Yu (as Liu Yi Huan [Rebel of Li Ze Palace, Si Feng's friend, and Yu'er's father]) and Lu Peng (as Qing Long [Heavenly Beast]). Overall, this is a great drama. Enjoy it!

This is a fairly nice drama that failed to create a great romantic feel in spite of all the intimate moments that it has. Even though there were some nice intimate moments, the leading lady’s body language was not really intimate and too many of her expressions were emotionless. The plot doesn’t support the childhood sweethearts’ definition since the leading lady, as a child, did not show any “loving” interest in the leading male which is described on one of the synopsis as one of her tormentors. The leading male protagonist, despite showing some intent to be domineering, was always loving the leading lady and supporting her. On the other hand, the leading lady constantly doubted her husband’s good intentions and could only think of herself as always been right to the point that she could justify actions that were close to crossing the line as married woman. The “you don’t show respect for my work” line was used too many times during the drama as her excuse for doubting her husband who, in return, will try even harder to understand and support her. Her enlightenment came too close to the end of the series and the end was too abrupt. The drama is not bad; it just that it’s not great either.

This is a wonderful suspense melodrama with a heartwarming romance storyline. The cast was magnificent bringing their characters to life and the leading couple, even without physical intimate moments, had great chemistry! This drama is a star studded production, from cast, cinematography, writing and editing,… all done so excellently that the drama had a natural, sometimes poignant, painful, and heartwarming feel that effects all kinds of emotions from the viewer; and all of these is happening as a beautiful story of steadfast and protective love unfolds and weaves a precious family. This drama offers great entertainment, enjoy it!
