It is so exaggerated that it is becoming exhausting

We have here a story of ordinary high school students who discover love and who, as they grow up, come to have different desires and paths. It's not very innovative but why not.
The problem is that everything in this series is exaggerated. The main characters, first of all, are too much: one is ultra whiny and childish, the other is stuck in a stereotype of an unrefined teenager but with a tender heart. The story then, which lingers too long on their umpteenth existential questions. The secondary characters too, totally inconsistent. Finally, the acting, really exaggerated, especially from Earth, who got us used to better. It's probably not helpful to cast 25 year olds as 15 year old teenagers.

In the end, it doesn't move forward, it's too predictable and I find it badly constructed. I ended up giving up.

Not bad but far from unforgettable

Right from the start, it feels like Lakorn, to our delight: excessive acting, big production, tons of drama, ultra-cheap special effects. You start hoping for a second To Sir, With Love.

Alas, the series quickly devolves into an unpretentious little comedy, and the charm of Lakorn disappears. The poor acting, especially by the man who plays Wee, doesn't help matters. We start to get bored.

The last part is a little more dynamic and saves the whole thing. Still, this series won't make the list of BL's best!

A pleasant series to watch but with some imperfections

What's striking about this series is that, although it's tempting to compare it to KinnPorsh, it's the exact opposite. Here, the writers focus more on the police and fantasy plot than on the love affair between the two heroes. The references to Buddhist mythology are appreciable, and the storyline is well-crafted.

The story is followed with interest, without excessive length. It works. But this series has one big problem: the acting, which really isn't up to scratch. And the further we get into the episodes, the worse it gets. The ending, though interesting and less Manichean than might have been expected, is spoiled by it. Too bad!

A simple story of student love well executed

I hadn't planned on watching this series, but after seeing the two main actors in Moonlight Chicken, I changed my mind. Usually I don't watch high school series because they are a bit too childish for my taste. Here, indeed, we don't have a very mature story, which is normal, but at least it is well executed.

GMM is finally making an effort to stop showing us basic BLs written by straight women for straight women where homosexuality doesn't exist and the realism of LGBTQ+ lives is absent. In this series , we describe real lives, coming out, society's acceptance. Even if we remain anchored in student problems, which is quite normal, we adhere without getting bored.

Another positive point: the actors seem to have the age of their character. It's a change from all the shows where 25 years old guys play 15 years old kids. I have a special thought for MY ONLY 12% which is the exact opposite of MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT.

Plus, the acting is good. The secondary characters, although numerous, bring a little more to the story.

In conclusion, I would say that we spend a good time watching this series which is not necessarily very inventive but well executed.

An original scenario for a series quite pleasant to watch

It's true that this series has some flaws: some scenes are too long while others lack depth. The multiverse stories are not explained enough. Once again we are served the "I'm not gay but". I specify that this concept has strictly nothing to do with pansexuality. It's just that the writers refuse to accept that a masculine man can be gay.

But beyond that, we have quite good actors, a rather interesting story and the will to make a different series. It's pleasant to watch and we don't get bored.

I didn't see the first ending. I just watched the ending 11.2 "Wake Up" and I admit that it's rather sloppy. It's not very believable and a bit of a slog. Some topics are totally forgotten but maybe they are covered in the original ending?

All in all, even if it's not the best series of all time, we have a good time. I recommend it.

What's the point?

I hadn't planned to watch this series, but when I saw the good ratings I wanted to give it a try.

Alas, the script is non-existent. The characters are flat and have no depth. It's supposed to be a light comedy, but only the lightness is there without the comedy, and the sound effects weigh it down. I'm not interested, so I'm giving up.

GMM has a hard time producing inventive series these days. The Thai BL industry in general has a similar problem. The Koreans are doing much better!

100% GMM, 100% boring

It's about a guy who's in deep debt because of hospital bills for his seriously ill brother. He kidnaps a rich kid to make some money, but when the time comes to kill him as instructed, he can't do it and decides to hide him at home until he finds a solution. We've known all this since the trailer.

What we don't know is that this dark but interesting story immediately becomes the subject of a romantic series: soft music, sitcom sound effects, and look how we fall into bed on top of each other and how I feed you when filmed in close-up. In short, nothing to do with the original subject.

But somehow, it makes sense. GMM is no longer interested in making good series, but just in showcasing good-looking, well-known actors for them to do months of fan service. The fact that Ohm broke down during his last pairing with Nanon doesn't worry anyone.

This series is going to be a hit because that's all the fans want: two actors playing bromance to the extreme for months or even years.

In short, GMM will give fans what they want, and they'll be happy. But to watch a good series, you have to go elsewhere. And that's what I'm going to do.
