BADDEST HEART LINE
This is an exquisite drama that is the first and more realistic in it's context, it has got a very wonderfu and powerfull chemistry between the main leads that is Tian and his brother Yang as well as his better half Jiu however I must say that some characters might be shallow but the plot and the execution is remarkable much as I still find Zhang's reason for committing suicide in the first place absurd and stupid and there's the annoying fact that Yang has a mother who is totally ungifted and dense and she's pretty good at stirring trouble for everyone that she doesn't benefit from. But really the bromance beats me as the blood brothers Tian and Yang have that affection that just beats any other that I have known in any drama before it makes me jealously wish things were the same with my brother and Jiu is probably the best character that you'll admire for being quiet and a bit dumb when it comes to things like love, I respect Tian who understands the weight of that uneasy burden of being the first born and I appreciate that about him while his Mother Madam Li even if she can go overboard at times and is extreme, she portrays the very best struggles, pains, fears and strife of motherhood which is what made me on a whole scale refer to this drama as the most realistic youthful bl drama that I have ever seen. I can't also forget the remarkable length of the episodes that makes you explore the whole story in detail and I like the fact that the pacing is perfect to the point that the story doesn't feel rushed, compressed or summarised. All in all, To Sir with love makes me understand what the true picture of coming out is and doesn't portray it as a garden of butterflies and rainbows as most dramas do but rather it gives you the hardships, rejections, sacrifices, betrayals and regrets which form the most true composition of life, for 2022 having been the worst year of my life, To Sir, With Love has emerged as one of the good things that have given it a good close and is one of my best bl series I have watched for this whole year. Was this review helpful to you?
HEART TO HEART
I have just finished watching UNINTENTIONAL LOVESTORY and I am way up for it.There's always been one challenge with Korean BL dramas and that's the fact that even with a great storyline and plot, they tend to have a very short run time, no offense I don't watch series with episodes that are roughly shorter than 25 mins However interesting the plotline is unless it's an anime, but anyway, that's not my main point here.
Unintentional Love Story had probably the best vibe that I have seen in a Korean BL drama in a long time and with the duration of 35 mins per episode I must say that it was enough time for us to explore the story in detail.
The things that I have loved about this series are very many and I'll give them all in detail.
To begin with, there's a cute age-gap between our male leads, it seems like 2023 is the year of romantic age-gaps, not to mention the fact that I am fascinated by the maturity of the characters and Ji Wonyoung's naivety makes him so easy to like while on the other hand The joon's reserved personality has you swooning over him.
The characters start off on the wrong foot but I love the way that their differences slowly start to subside and they start falling for each other without knowing it, in a way the story isn't rushed but it becomes more perfect as they all start to open up to each other and even embrace themselves despite the many things that they go through.
One thing however that I was dying to have a sweet glimpse of is our second bl couple which in my context was denied some time and attention which could have made the series a bit more interesting but I liked their little moments of playing hard to get with one another that kept the story interesting.
So far this is one of my best Korean BL'S of 2023

PROCESS BY PROCESS ROMANCE
The story doesn't kick off with the most intense romance but you can be certain you wont be disappointed.Watching the trailer I was very much in love with the two main leads especially Singto and now with the progressing moments the lead couple's love story starts to gain momentum.
You can feel the sincerity of the actor's emotions and slowly by slowly you find the couple loveable much as some of the intimate moments to me feel shallow I am still expecting that things would get better slowly and perhaps the characters might mature in the later episodes.
The series is full of funny moments and much as the story tends to wander far away from the original employer employee affair, you slowly get captivated in the tiny moments in a whole the series is less romantic and more funnier.
Definitely the series to get you through a heartbreak because primarily it's love is one which transcends all boundaries.

HOW WOMEN PULL THE STRINGS
For a historical drama I really loved it and following the success with later adaptations of QUEEN SEONDEOK, EMPRESS KI and DONG YI I didn't think that it would be bad to try a series the predated themI am a fan of inner Court Fights between female politicians and while this series aimed at showing how women pulled strings behind the throne of the Joseon Dynasty my search didn't disappoint me.
The episodes the awfully long I didn't seem to have a problem with them anyway because I had all the time in the world to watch them and the schemes orchestrated as just as wonderful and hard to predict abd while the female protagonists made it loveable, to me I loved and preferred the villain character played by Jeong Nam Jeong because she isn't the type of person to feel so sorry and she is wise and intelligent and more ambitious she knows exactly how to hold on and cling onto her country in a way she isn't a traitor but loves it too much

LOVE SIGNAL
I have just watched the first episodes and I am very pleased with its remarkable execution, being an office romance it is one of the most exciting plots and not to mention that age-gap is another of my addictions when it comes to BL series but anyway aside from that I want to point out the intense elements that make the series a masterpiece.
Jeng's good looks will probably get you high anytime and screaming and not to mention he also has that game face that is so sexy even when he is serious, he is a very deep character that appears to be assertive yet a closer look could only make one realise that he has vulnerabilities that he likes to keep to himself which bittersweet mood always gets you curious.
Pat on the other hand is this one guy from abroad that is always up and down and for some reason acts childish despite his old age which makes me love him, as he is playful, active and very lively most of the time, he's that one person that makes the office scene look less officey and is a hopeless romantic.
The fact that the two leads are from different personalities makes the plot all the more interesting and furthermore, I love the fact that the pacing seems to be at its finest that it almost feels that the story is flawless, the leads each seem to have developed a sense of impartation to their characters and like it or not the fact that it starts to have the elements of a cat and mouse relationship makes it fun to watch giving them a very cute chemistry together.
I had been waiting for a whole year for the release of this series which automatically means that I had very high expectations especially after I watched the pilot trailer and it hasn't left me disappointed at all because it further surpassed my expectations.
This is probably the best office Romance of the year as you can get the feeling almost instantly owing to the fact that every moment of every scene feels very real and every emotion intense it just has a way that gets you absorbed and hardly bored you can't stop hoping and wanting more of their love.

NOT YOU'RE AVERAGE CRUEL PALACE
If you have heard of Wu Ze Tian then you must have known her for being the only Female Emperor in Chinese History and also having been the most ruthless there has ever been, those were my highest hopes before watching this drama and those sassy clips of the opening theme got me anticipating that moment.96 whole episodes ended in disappointment as I expected the plot to be filled with a number of schemes especially when Wu Meiniang entered the harem of Emperor Gaozong and had two scheming rivals in love Consort Xiao and the Empress Wang.
To my surprise the show sheds another light of Empress Wu having branded her a victim of the conspiracies and the endless machinations of two of her best friends Xu Hui and Princess Gaoyang and much to my surprise I waited for her to become very cruel that's if you have watched EMPRESSES IN THE PALACE, EMPRESS KI and CRUEL PALACE WAR OF THE FLOWERS, but to my surprise her cruelty came as a last resort and I didn't feel the gravity.
Historically, Wu Ze Tian is known to have been very smart but according to this series she is portrayed as a naive woman that's not so so smart like I expected her to be and having expected this to be the longest drama in Cdrama History, I was really disappointed when she became Emperor in the Last Episode and none of the dramatic moments during her reign were included as I anticipated the Zhang Brothers and the Princess Taiping to make an appearance but sadly the series was coming to a close when some bits of her reign should have been expanded.
I don't want to be mean but I was wondering what the Taizong Emperor was still doing alive in the fiftieth episodes as this historical drama instead of centering more on the political life and astute nature, it only gave us her sugary and annoying love life yet I was waiting for war to ensue much as the romance was nice it wasn't what I individually wanted to see, I was more anticipative of the cruelty, power hunger and strength of the Wu Ze Tian Character.
That's generally what I had against the Series but on the bright side I believe much as it was centred on the romance bit it felt very catchy and the phrases themselves were just enthralling to listen to, the costumes were remarkably the most beautiful for any historical drama I have ever seen second to EMPRESS KI's and FAN BINGING really brought out the most beautiful TV ADAPTATION ROLE of WU ZE TIAN which I personally believe would have looked more beautiful had she acted up to cruelty.
In a whole because I am sympathetic and try understand how hard it is to come up with something to suit the viewer audiences, I give this series an 8.5 because it isn't totally bad you can trust me there are a whole lot worse series that don't make a genuine effort but at times protagonists don't have to be limited to being too good so I am hoping that for any future adaptations on similar historical figures like EMPRESS LÜ ZHI, EMPRESS DOWAGER CIXI, EMPEROR WU ZE TIAN, EMPRESS LIU and many others, don't make the protagonists too sympathetic and don't do it again.
Otherwise I'd recommend this series for viewing and don't be discouraged by the 96 Episodes because each about 30mins long when compared to your average Sageuk which screens for an hour and roughly more, it's equivalent to 48 episodes in total and 75 when considering a duration of 45 minutes.
This is the longest I have ever reviewed on a series, I hope it was helpful

I really loved this show
No spoilers, just Expressions.Definitely Best Korean BL Drama ever
This is a drama that is going to make you laugh, hate, love, cry, pity, surrender, hooked , disappointed and also leave you wanting more as there are five primary reasons this drama has skyrocketed to becoming my favourite of 2021.
To begin with I wasn't entirely impressed with the rating of the show being merely 8.4 to me it's a perfect 10 and we'll if you are definitely a BL Fan the way that I am trust me you'll love it very much.
Generally, BOYSLOVE has captivated the hearts of fans around the world moreso in Asia where it has become a commercial success in pop culture and Generally I wasn't much of a fan of Korean BL dramas given the fact that a number starting as web series were rather short I felt like I would appreciate more time to deeply understand the characters and the whole plot.
First Impression I was disappointed hearing 16 episodes each about 24 minutes long but when I immersed myself in the show I realised that somehow those 24 mins felt as long as an hour and I grasped at the emotions of the characters very well the story sunk in well written it's dialogues were something I don't plan on forgetting anytime soon.
Secondly, the distinction of the main leads is something that I really admire which makes the series uncliche when compared to most high school dramas and moreso BL dramas because this one allows you to explore different complex personalities that are harmonious as a whole.
Thirdly, this is the one drama I feel the storyline is original given the rarity of the characters and moreso Tae Kyeong plays my most favorite part that I really wish he'd win the Oscars, I found the drama flawless from the beginning kick-starting off with fire and suddenly halfway I couldn't help but get emotional and heartbroken that I cried as much as Tae Kyeong cried and I was so moved for three days I had to rewatch Episode 11 over and over again which is very rare because by the time I rewatch a series then just know I really appreciated it.
Forth, What I appreciate best about the drama is that every character is loveable, those that you hate you in the end grow to sympathize with and moreso when I think about how real this lovestory felt it quickly shifted up my charts for my favourite BL Drama ever outranking the Untamed and 2gether the series
This is one drama that pushes you to every extreme and every emotion so unexpectedly, something only three more dramas have attained in my life the first being The UNTAMED, KILLER AND HEALER and HIStory 3 Make Our Days Count. It made me cherish the weight of my tears and most importantly it taught me that even with heartbreak and disappointment, love remains something most wonderful and something to be thankful for.
It was a true testament of reality that I got to enjoy and I know that with 16 Episodes and the personally open ending, I can anticipate a next season and I'll cherish this story dearly forever and ever.

A MUST WATCH
Firstly I watched the trailer and I was super excited and moreso a bakery affair that involves all workers it had my best interests that the results make me unable to help it but talk too much. With the airing of the first episode I was picking up momentum and further devotion to the show but suddenly everything breaks off from episode two, first I thought that the series was about the missing children and how they are linked to the bakery but I was disappointed when it seemed that they were starting to pursue much more different storylines as we get the jumbled story of how all the main characters start to live and adapt with one another and generally I don't mean to say that it wasn't nice but I think it still needs some work because the case concerning the kidnappings tends to merely feel like a leftover to the story that is to say the person writing the script somehow felt bored and said maybe let me just add it for the case or they had to spin a wheel for it.
The characters though well presented I think the bl romance bit of the story is far fetched and a bit too shallow, no offense there are excellent characters and very cute moments as you feel the comedy and the fun in every dialogue but I think Weir's character charms me the most while the owner of the bakery says the "TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME." line too much that I get too bored hearing it over and over again.
I picked up the pieces of the tale and analysed them despite having such shortcomings I believe that I am very lenient enough to say that I don't hate the series, in fact, if compared to others like BITE ME and LOVESICK which are sweet Thai BL originals it's much more outstanding as the cast really suited the roles and they are all handsome heart throbs and additionally, the story may feel humbled but I did appreciate it.
Except for the above few loopholes everything else about the series was very good which makes it worth watching and I'd highly recommend it for anyone out there and if you aren't a fan of the bl elements then you will love it because to me I feel they were quite shallow anyway but all in all we have the most wonderful Bromance as a whole

A RECORD OF YOUTH
Strangers who turned enemies, then friends to brothers before they realised that what they felt for each other was so much more. This is what I signed up for to begin with. I never imagined life at 17 could be that tedious or that two divergent characters could abandon their own natures and embrace those of their better halves.
Now this is more than an average junior high school crush when you realise that "spoiler alert" almost all the Couples feel restrained, afraid perhaps even uncertain of themselves. They fight heads on and yield the same way until you realise that they are all willing to give up as much or more for each other's sake. I couldn't find any reason to deny this show the perfect 10 perhaps even 1,000,000/10 cause it deserves it being a story of growth, sacrifice, longing and the feeling of wanting something you'd never have.
We need a season 2. This is my favourite BL of 2024.

AS LONG AS THERE'S TRUE LOVE BL IS EVERYTHING
I don't know what kept me from writing a review about this series and I had to rewatch it three consequent times to come to a conclusion if it really deserved my perfect 10 score and in deed I realised it did.Don't say no the Series isn't your average Thai BL as a majority of these Series only tend to narrate the story of how two people fall in love but shockingly it's tale is about how couples survive long enough.
The Actors are very cute and handsome and you feel the absolute exploitation of their characters while the comedy part of it feels like a cherry on top of the cake. The characters are very deep and not so complicated to understand and there's that wonderful OST that keeps me standing on my toes and singing the chorus every time they go in for a break.
Entirely, the story feels original and it makes this series one of your most realistic BL Dramas where you don't have to get the feeling that a number of events have been exaggerated and the production quality was very high I was so impressed from the beginning by all the personalities of the actor's.
Generally, this series deserves my ten after all because of all feelings there are in the world about love while lacking a definite antagonistic, the smooth flow of events allow me to get a new picture that surviving in love isn't about having only antagonists trying to force lovers apart but also lovers learning to love one another slowly and bearing with each other just as much I'd recommend it for any real BL couples out there as I felt the top notch chemistry of the couples and I realised that love is one of the most wonderful things in life ever made.

LOVE COCKTAIL
What a remarkable year, anyway I have jhus watched the first episode and this is a very good story, surprisingly after concluding the Chinese bl drama STAY WITH ME, Only friends has drawn a new line and I would like to give my reasons.Firstly, they have done a good job with multiple couples. Thai bl dramas have always had the challenge of dealing with very many couples a number of times for example TOP SECRET TOGETHER but 2023 has taken a whole new level ever since MOONLIGHT CHICKEN aired earlier this year and CUTIE PIE last year, moreso, ONLY FRIENDS appears to be a more intense drama since the chemistry in every couple is not so complicated and fits perfectly right.
Secondly, I just love the character design and make up, I have always loved the trope of having a number of bl couples but more to it is each having a personality who is the polar opposite of the other, the same can be said for ONLY FRIENDS since all the main characters clearly appear to be from different worlds each with their own perception of things but somehow these differences have a way that they draw them together into developing feelings for each other and moreso understanding each other.
Thirdly, you'll certainly feel the sincerity of all emotions portrayed within the series, this is what makes a series most appealing to me, the fact that it goes from not only entertaining but also speaks to the soul, what's even better is that amidst all the drama, you can't possibly deny the love between all the main characters which stands out even in their silence and body languages.
You'll also probably be at the edge of your seat screaming since the series contains quite a number of intimate, flirty and even seductive scenes which for the record were not overdone but were captured just right.
Anyway, for me I could clearly tell from the beginning that the series and its production from the plot was well executed and not cliché, the entire thing might seem predictable but it also is full of scenes that will take you by surprise which makes it brilliant for a start.

AT LEAST IT'S WATCHABLE
I'm probably the most lenient reviewer and I'll get straight to the point, Chains of heart is a GOOD but SENSELESS BL drama.Firstly there's the fact that none of the story makes sense and I also don't understand why it felt like DIN was very terrible at being undercover, besides I think I am not the only one who noticed but on top of the fact that KEN is terrible at fighting and his action scenes tell it all, that guy is good at fainting every time they attempt to strangle him in almost every episode.
There was also that annoying guy that was recurring in every plot whose laughter made the series annoying.
However for some reason CHAINS OF HEART kept me captivated to the point that regardless of how BAD its writers and producers were I'm surprised that I didn't get to drop the title but succeeded in watching it till the end when for some Reason BED FRIEND which was supposed to be much better and was well produced bored me on its forth episode because it feels like a SEX STORY with hardly any steamy scenes and all we get to see is a couple of actors doing much kissing and fastforwarding in their boxers.
But I give chains Of the Heart an overall 8/10 because trust me by the time you can keep watching all episodes of a BAD SERIES to the end for some reason then at least it deserves some credit.

SAVAGE LOVE
It's a merry rainbow year, this is just another story that is out of this world, after nearly a year ever since we got to see Perth on screen again, considering the fact that I had enjoyed his performance in Love By Chance and Reminder the Series, my expectations for this were really high, and thanks to the teaser and the official trailer, I couldn't help but feel more eager to receive the show which is outstanding in the following waysDangerous Romance explores a trope that I felt was quite common that is to say from enemies to lovers and then eventually the me falling in love with my tutor part which seems to have started becoming a trend since WHY R U and I WILL KNOCK YOU which series scored quite a remarkable success, this practically meant that the drama's challenge was creating something new in this trope and in deed, I could feel that spark.
This is a heartfelt drama that portrays the inner demons, regrets, frustrations and even obsessions of the characters which is something so far from a sweet fairy tale romance that quite a number of us were used to, I guess what I mean is that there is a way the characters find sweetness in their tragic scenes which is far from a world of butterflies and rainbows that we have been used to in the past.
Secondly, this is one drama that will get you hooked for not only the story but also the dialogues and I would like to give my reasons, what makes series quite interesting for most people is the drama and cool plotline but many remarkable love stories tend to drift away when it comes to the messages delivered in their words and Dangerous Romance is unlike those many.
Every sentence is designed in a way that it speaks to me which I like but on top of that, the words, facial expressions and moods carry with them an intense weight of emotions which are heartfelt and very deep.
Thirdly, this is a story that to me is a true testament of high school, we have explored all the good stuff of high school in BL dramas but we'd never come across a series that narrates the darkest and most sombre moments of it, the sorrows and heartbreaks and above all, the challenges posed because of our inadequacies and yet for some reason this drama has made the best effort to paint that reality and bring it to life.
Eventually, this is a dangerous romance after all, the true forbidden love that challenges norms and beliefs, goes the extra mile to evolve as it weathers the true pressures of youth, perfectly modelled from the intense chemistry of the main leads, the fact that it keeps on revolving around them makes it a good drama worth my time that I can say, I haven't been disappointed so far and I can still hope for it to get better.

BOYS WILL BE BOYS
Guys for CRYING OUT LOUD I guess we should really check out HIGH SCHOOL FRENEMY.Two stubborn guys,
They fight like a divorced couple,
Make it look like one hell of a Romantic betrayal I can't possibly resist the urge of SHIPPING these guys and trust me you won't.
It feels pretty much like a queerbaiting show,
We have two Tops, sure the fighting gets intense, somehow annoying, 99.9% nonsensical but you're gonna pray to see these guys in a BL after seeing them going through the CAT AND MOUSE phase to the HARD TO GET LEVEL.
Never thought that a "PLATONIC UNBROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WOULD GIVE ME THESE MANY BUTTERFLIES. LOL" ?

TOUGH LOVE
From friends to lovers between dreams and feelings, obligations and duties alike This is a hilarious drama that blends each of these into one, firstly, watching the trailer set my hopes high and the first episode is off to a fun but not so extreme start, nonetheless watching it was worthwhile. The cast is super cool and sexy and after I saw them on screen I was convinced that all the Couples in the very beginning have a very cool and heartwarming chemistry between themselves and they seem to fit one another perfectly and perhaps as a warning the most fun bit of the show is that no part of it feels predictable which makes the screen writers and producers very creative.
In one of the most beautiful senses Tupfah and Thorn seem to deeply understand the value of their relationship and much as each one of them is constantly worried that they might mess things up concerning one another moreso their friendship from the very beginning it's clear that despite their contrasting characters and their awfully awkward silence they care deeply about one another even by just looking each other in the eye.
The plotline felt original and watching it the story was unique from a number of Thai BL Dramas where the actors play a romance that is full of hard to get scenes and expressions but from You're My Sky it's a more realistic story of friends that are trying so hard to express their feelings despite the ups and downs they face constantly and practically aside the romance bit of it you won't be disappointed about how the teens live and hustle throughout their high school life.
I love that almost immediately the story doesn't seem dragged as I can't wait to watch the next episodes while everything fits in the time frame perfectly the production quality was very high and the OST remarkable you won't be disappointed.
Lastly, the story isn't shallow and all emotions portrayed are very deep much as there are some scenes that need to be worked with this is a very good series that I would gladly recommend to anyone that's chosen to watch it and I got so emersed that I loved it at first sight.
