Hmm, this movie was okay, but kind of bad. The acting was really good, which saved the whole thing, but the execution of the story was boring and tiring. The idea was interesting, though, not very original. The only thing original, actually, was the ending, which can leave you disappointed...The love story had no intensity, though the chemistry between the two actors wasn't bad. And, there were some good moments, like the time the girl went to the boy's house and met his mother. Or the story about when she lost her sister at the park. But, the rest was so so, so 3 out of 10.

Coffee Prince follows the footsteps of so many dramas that have a girl dressed as a boy, but manages to be unique and fresh. And those last two qualities make this drama a classic. All in all, it is an okay drama. The main story is interesting and entertaining, though the love triangle wasn't that good, maybe because it ended too soon for the main female lead and therefor it lost its strength early on. Plus, the secondary stories were just there to fill the gaps. Honestly, I thought they will forget about them and never show us what happened to them, but they managed to wrapped them up pretty neatly at the final episode. The romance was okay, though it failed to convince at the ending. Fortunately, the girl didn't miraculously changed into a princess of girly power, as all the other girls do in dramas like this one, but she remained herself and that was the main thing that separates coffee prince from the other dramas. Finally, the plot was just okay, with the episodes sometimes being a little boring, as the action didn't precede.

The first of the Reply series is a classic for the K Drama fans, but surely it's a nice watch for everyone as well. The story is quite entertaining, with the characters being very funny and cute, and the main romance good enough, although it wasn't a big mystery for long. Probably the only problem with the series was that it had too many references on 1990's culture, but my subs explained fairly enough and I kind of was familiar with some of the bands that the girls were obsessed with. And it was nice to see the early K pop fangirling, where it all began. Fortunately, the back and forth wasn't tiring, as it happened only once or twice in each episode, and mostly in the beginning and ending.

Sleeping or Waking was an odd movie.

The story was good and the romance was really intense. I liked how they presented the relationship and its course. The two had great chemistry and that helped a lot with the progress of the drama. However, the ending twist was really not good. It felt out of the blue and kind of unexpected. Also, it annoyed me how the character did what she did and they didn't explained it properly.

So, six and a half out of ten for sleeping or waking, because of the wierd ending and the not so great twist about the character who went missing.

A not so good sports drama that doesn't follow the lines of the
original sports dramas. The performances were good and the teacher was
easy to understand and read really, even from episode number one.
Actually, the movie was more about the teacher rather than the
students, which would have created more interest, even if the students
had just a little more TV time. The sport thrill never really was
developed enough, as well. You expect the thrill of a victory in this
kind of dramas, but, unfortunately, this time, there was non. The small
stories were okay, but the first few episodes that had some comical
element in them were the ones that saved this drama that other than
that was a bit dull and the final episode seriously without point.

My only regret concerning this drama is that I didn't pay the necessary attention to it sometimes and missed out (so, this is going for a re watch soon). The story of this drama is as compelling as interesting. The one twist follows the other, as the story unfolds slowly its layers. The first part deals with the mystery of the ghost. Then, it starts focusing on the past affairs, as well as the currant ones. It's amazing how the film makers managed to present the medley of past present so beautiful, without confusing the audience or tiring them. In addition, there as so many things one has to anticipate to happen, except from the past story, that is by itself entertaining and well executed, with the costumes on point, the whole atmosphere of the past and the secret revolution- resistance presented as such as it didn't look fake, rather, it could have been easily compared to a movie's class. Lastly, the performances were great, and you can't help but eventually get emotional (even though, with most ghost dramas you kind of expect that to happen) towards the end, which, unlike other dramas that usually the story ends in episode 14 or 15 and the last one is just there to complete some side stories, this one was as entertaining as the rest. Probably, the only thing that didn't appeal to me as much as the rest of the stories, was the today's romance. The couple seemed to lack some of the chemistry they had compered to the past story. Plus, I would have liked for the film makers to have completed some of the side stories as well and not just the main one. But, overall, it was a great drama so I'm rating it with 8.5 out of 10.

One of the two period dramas that aired at the same time, Love in the moonlight had to compete with Scarlet heart, a drama that occupied most of the male actors of Korea and had in its arsenal big idol names like I.U. and Baekhyun from Exo. However, Moonlight managed to hit the big ratings and still gets the buzz even though it finished. That is mostly due to the good story: a girl who pretends to be a boy her whole life, ends up becoming a eunuch to serve the crowned prince, that ends up falling for her. Then there is the chemistry of the two actors, even though the girl was under-aged in real life, but still the age gap wasn't that obvious. Also the delightful performance of Bo Gum not only aided the drama, but also gained him a big fan base and surely future roles as well. I would like to add the good performance by Jinyoung as well, even though his story was side lined and it would have been better if his background story would have been explained better. Unfortunately the last episode was a little disappointing, as the story could have concluded in the previous episode. So, 6 out of 10.

Good Enough

Korean Drama " Vincenzo " had a good concept but there were times that it didn't make it work.

The main problem with this drama is the length. It's not only twenty episodes long, each episode also was about an hour and twenty minutes. However, the story was not for that length. Therefore, there were episodes, especially the final ones, when the story was full of fillers, unnecessary twists, and ridiculous situations that were trying too hard to be funny. The blend, though, of action, comedy, and legal themes was an interesting combination that worked for most of the cases. Most of the characters were also pretty interesting, though some of them, like the piano lady and the female lead, were annoying and it was obvious that they were written to be eccentric, but that was presented in a way that screamed try-hard. The villain was a boring character in the second half of the drama. However, it must be noted that the big twist was an innovative one and pretty entertaining.

As for the performances, everyone did a great job, especially the male lead who finally found the right character for his proper comeback after the big hit DOTS.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Good Enough

Korean Drama "True Beauty" based on a webtoon and with a fresh and comical mood, gives a light school love story with not many surprises and a pretty basic plot.

First of all, the drama nailed the atmosphere, settings and costumes for this series. The comic book shop and the girl's room, especially, were created with such detail that they were nice to watch.

The bromance was pretty entertaining as well. The two male leads had chemistry and they provided a lot of funny moments. The start of the drama was interesting as well, with some intense moments and dramatic twists. There were some funny scenes in this drama as well, and the second couple were really cute!

However, the rest of it was average. The love triangle was weak, with the second lead being interesting in her towards the middle of the length, and even then the female lead didn't seem to notice him at all. The main love story, on the other hand, was okay, but it was predictable and that twist in the end was boring and aged.

The rest of the story was also predictable and boring towards the ending.

So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

I admit that this was my first Kamen Rider. Since I like school themed dramas, I wanted to check it out. And, it felt like those dramas-anime that I've watched when I was a kid. There is the main story, with the bad guys all mysterious and dark, and there are the small adventures that the hero has to overtake in every episode. The CGI were bad, though this one is an old drama, so it is expected. Some of the costumes were bad as well. However, the performances were really good. And some of the cases were nice and entertaining to watch, though others were just boring. So, 5 out of 10.

I've got mixed feeling about this one. Though it wasn't a bad movie, it seemed like it lucked of something. Okay, first things first: the movie had a comedy element that was excellent, though it was too "manga" like, but in the end it worked. The love story was okay and cute as well. The performances were great and the casting was perfect for their characters, especially the leading man. Now, the whole thing was well executed, however, it kind of felt like it was dragging on and on and the second half onward was bleak and slightly boring. Maybe that's because the love story lucked some intensity. So, overall, 5 out of 10.

Rikuo is about a family run company which makes shoes and their struggles to make running shoes. The story is okay, with the family dynamics, especially the son - father relationship. Also, the struggles of the company and the athlete to make his come back and ran the marathon are kind of interesting, though they get tiring after a while. The drama overall is boring and tiring. It took me a bit of an efford to watch, as the twists and the plot itself weren't original and there wasn't much to be expected. The performances, finally, were nice. So, 4 out of 10.

Good Enough

Korean Drama " Crazy Love " is a drama that has a predictable story and it almost feels like the old Korean rom coms of the past decade. The trop of the main lead dying, the crazy and rich CEO, the enemies to lovers plot twist, and the ex girlfriend storyline were all well known and used ingredients for many dramas. And yet, the drama had something fresh and comforting.

The first part of the drama is funny and the dynamics of the couple spot on. And yes, it is predictable, but their chemistry is overflowing. The performances were another factor that aided the drama a lot.

Unfortunately, the second part was slower and a bit boring, but the ending wrapped things up nicely.

So, overall, 6 out of 10.
