Up to episode 8 and cant see why there are so many negative reviews! I agree the ML is a jerk but dont agree that the female is a doormat. So far she has spoken back frankly to the ML - rejecting his advances and realistically saying its delusional and only because she has found someone else. She is obv drawn to him but is resisting his advances as she knows she shouldnt trust him. Remarkable self control and self preservation!
Just have to wait and see how the storyline continues....
I feel all the characters are well drawn and acted - they all have weaknesses and flaws as we all do!

I'm liking the casting and at first thought this was going to be an interesting series due to the first episode. I love the strong second female lead! The main FL is a bit too good to be true and her positivity and at times over zealous behaviour is a little annoying - non-stop chatter and inappropriate speech to the boss - let alone the hug! I know it's to melt his synthetic heart so needed for the storyline, but she is beginning to irritate me. However in episode 5 I had to laugh in disbelief when the ML got the FL to drive home from the hospital and just left her in his house! She was the one who was abducted and nearly beaten up or worse, plus also got cut with the bottle - but he was the one who had to be looked after? Please!!! I find the ML an ungrateful, self centered, self pitying man - cruel to his parents to save them hurting when he eventually dies? How hurt are they now? Not liking how this story is developing!! The story has familiar tropes and I just hope this doesn't descend into an obvious storyline as most of this genre does!
