Waiting for season two please..
If you have watched the anime version which is still ongoing, then do lower your standard for drama version. Drama version is more compact and skipped quite a lot of nitty gritty and straight to the main story. I have not watched the anime but my hubz is watching it so I kind of peeped at his screen at times. Lol..LIKE
Everything as this is Wu Xia mixed with fantasy and I love the story about soul masters, soul beasts and soul rings. Everything soul interests me.
DISLIKE
40 episodes are too little for this amazing drama while some crappy ones get 70 episodes?!
I remembered cursing at the last episode as it ended too soon.
MUSIC
Rated standard five stars as not even one song is to my liking though there are Lala Hsu and Liu Yu Ning. *rolled eyes*

Not a fan of Sci-Fi genre
LIKEThe efforts put in for those action scenes.
I enjoyed watching Jo Dong Hyuk (loved him from Bad Guys).
DISLIKE
If not for the action scenes, I would have rated a five for story as it was pretty okay.
I cannot believe this drama had a cliffhanger ending my god..

One of the better fantasy Chinese dramas out there
LIKEHow the story unfolds with Fu Yao and Wu Ji travel together across five kingdoms. I especially loved those events happening at Tai Yuan, Tian Sha and Xuan Ji.
One scene that touched me was when Xuan Yuan Xiao asked Wu Ji about Zhang Sun Jia.

The draggy ending that was too tiring to watch.

Not too bad for an Imperial Palace genre
LIKEWhen Empress Nara commented the harem finally would be having some peace for a long time
What Emperor Qian Long said to Ying Luo when they were on a ship during their travels out of palace

Loved the fantasy rom-com combination
Fell in love with Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun right after watching MLFTS and they are still my number one fav Korean ML & FL till date.LIKE
Enjoyed all epilogues at the end of each episode.
Hilarious moment
Section Chief Yoo's reaction upon finding out Lee Hui Kyung's identity.

Nothing to complain about not even Lee Jae Kyung as he portrayed his role well.

I actually fell in love with fantasy genre after watching Goblin. This is what I'm looking for.LIKE
Touched my heart
Bromance between Kim Shin and Grim Reaper
Another side of Yoo Deok Hwa (loved his seriousness unlike the usual goofy self)
Ji Eun Tak's decision that touched my heart (I cried every time I watched that scene)
Gave me goosebumps
Kim Shin realised Ji Eun Tak knew his secret (that moment my heart really stopped)
Park Joong Hun's character (I paused the drama to look around me making sure I'm still sane)

The little surprise (I watched season two for this) and was not disappointed - was waiting for that moment which stole the whole limelight of entire drama
