Honestly, this is actually my most liked among the three seasons. All the things or events I would've expected to happen in first season to finish it off in one go, was all here. Perfect acting specially from Joo Seokkyung who got a lot of screen time here. I like everything from the flow to the events that had happened. It's just that, why did they have to end like that? They don't necessarily have to kill SSR because she still have JSK. How is that paying her sins when she left her only daughter in the world. They focused too much on "I don't deserve to be happy with Logan because a lot of people died with me getting my revenge" She didn't even mention or think of her daughter (and her son)? And Logan also randomly died?? Ok? Everything was okay except that. Was this review helpful to you?
Characters: Now this one is the perfect choice for the drama. Ryu Hye Young as Sol A nailed her role. She was so cute, funny, and relatable. Han Joon Hwi also is so smart that it makes me like him more lmao. The students were funny together and they had good chemistry. The profs also, specially Prof Yang. I admired their knowledge of the law (because it's rare to actually see people sooo knowledgeable of the law in real life) so they were cool. I just wished we get more Joon Hwi x Sol A moments but then, this is a crime drama so what do I expect lol. I just think they were cute togetherr, we only got crumbs ㅋㅋ
OSTs: They were also good, perfect, and catchy.
Overall thoughts: I wish the cast get together in another drama. I'd love to see them work in another genre. I didn't give it a perfect rate because at some points I was confused and some things were just so-so but overall, I like this drama.

The only thing that made this a little better compared to the first season is that, the ending that I wanted from season 1 was executed here (which is giving punishment to those who deserve it). The justice that I was looking for was here. However, it's still repetitive, the bullying, murders, and the characters that stayed the same without any development at all. The only sane character we have here is Shim Suryeon, and I must say, she's the only one I like. Everyone else was inconsistent. I also did not like how it ended with yet, another murder of an important character. The story doesn't have much left to it. As I've said in my review for the first season, the story loses its charm while they keep on dragging it. One thing I really like here was the verdict to all Hera Place people who disposed Seol Min Ah's body. Also, I have to mention I like Logan and Suryeon together, they looked good and a breath of fresh air amidst this stress filled drama. And oh, I also liked how the female mains were able to gather together and take down Joo Dan Tae on his feet, it was so satisfying. Overall, it was an okay second season but I just wish they put it in a single season rather than cutting it into three just to give us nothing. I might check the third season as soon as all episodes are out or if my blood pressure allows me lmao. Was this review helpful to you?

Craziest makjang
As much as I am into this kind of drama, similar to Sky Castle which I genuinely enjoyed, I expected a bit too much on this. I feel like it was a bit over the top, draggy, repetitive, and I felt frustrated most of the time. I hardly could go on an episode because I cannot feel calm as everything just seems messed up, that's why I must say it's the craziest makjang I ever encountered. When I say it was draggy, I mean it was unnecessary for the writers to drag the story within a span of 21 episodes, that alone is such a pain. There's so much unnecessary things going on, characters with no depth whatsoever, get their fair amount of screen time just to annoy the viewers. That's why, it's really not for the faint hearted and easily get angered people. I think a 20-episode drama could have been nice if everything that is needed to be unfolded has already happened and the build up of the story could have ended with a glorious justifiable ending, but NO. We were given an ending with a main lead, that is supposed to be the nice person, turned out to be the killer, plus death of a significant character, plus flushing into the drain all of Shim Suryeon's plans to avenge her daughter's death, PLUS, can we just talk about how the villain was able to enjoy their moment despite the whole lot of shits they've thrown to the heroin? This then urges us to check the next season since justice was not served and all the great plans we've seen were all wasted at the end. The reason why I continued this drama was because there are also times where the leads were compensated of their hard work however, I felt frustrated when it ended like that so I had to see the next season. The only thing that stood out to me was the acting, everyone was so absorbed in their role and they killed it. The visuals also were stunning, which is expected to portray the story and setting more. This drama could've been better. I feel like 3 seasons were too long and really draggy that the story just keeps on being repeated and each time, it loses its charm. Was this review helpful to you?
FANTASTIC WATCH
I'm going to miss this drama! It was a good thing that I decided to check it out. The story was fun; I am usually not fond of historical dramas but this one has an interesting twist in it. I love the blend of comedy, romance, and historical aspects to it. It's like the PERFECT merge of present time with the historical period. The little incorporation of modern terms through the soul of Jang Bo Hwan, was the most entertaining part; how he acted as himself in a totally different period and in a different body that causes confusion and curiosity among people lmao. However at times, I felt like it was draggy and 20 episodes was too long for me, but later realized, it was not enough because I grew fond of it. The story was well written and well delivered. For the cast, kudos! It was a perfect idea to cast Shin Hye Sun as the female lead. She owned every characteristic of the two different personas she played- from being an elegant queen to being the quirky crazy person that was stuck in the past. She's really so good that I can easily say she's one of my faves now. The other actors were good choice too, specially Na In Woo, I had a little SLS in this drama. At first, I was rooting for him and the queen but then, main leads happened so... Anyway, I think everyone was so cute (I don't even know how to describe them lol) but none of them was hated by me on a different level. I kinda feel empty now that I finished this drama. For the people who's looking into checking this out, do it right NOW, this will become one of the greatest decisions you would ever make in your kdrama life! Was this review helpful to you?
Super entertaining
The Uncanny Counter was really a drama that made me feel thrilled and kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not stop watching once I finish an episode, that is how entertaining it was. Nice choice of actors also. I think their diverse characteristics and traits complemented each other. I don't know about the webtoon so I can't compare the two and how they differ but this one is well-made. Despite being not a big fan of action filled dramas, this one hits different as it added a different flavor to it, which is the realms outside and beyond what humans have. It was interesting, intriguing, thrilling, and sometimes emotional too. Props to the actors for playing their roles well, specially Jo Byeong Gyu. Although has some flaws and slight nonsensical moments, I could easily overlook them because of how good the story and action went. Looking forward to a second season if there's one. Definitely something worth your time, so consider checking this out.Was this review helpful to you?

The first few eps had me wanting to see more. At first, I really had the urge to keep watching because I felt like this drama would be the RomCom I'm looking for. The acting was great, and the FL was good in portraying her bubbly character. I also liked how determined she was in the beginning and I almost cried on that one scene when she's talking about her struggles to her boss when he's talking about removing her from work. However, I nearly dropped this drama when I was already at its middle, specifically when Gal Hee started acting like Veronica Park. The constant “I’m telling him everything tomorrow” and then nothing happens the next day puts me off, it's so draggy and frustrating that I almost want to just stop watching. But then, I gave it a chance thinking that it is the main point of the story; the secretary acting like someone else infront of her boss, so I let it off the hook. Since then, and even later when everything was spilled, I find the story getting dull and uninteresting. Aside from the cute moments we had from the side characters, specifically Veronica Park & Dae Ju, as well as Gal Hee's siblings, everything else was getting boring. Sometimes, I don't see the chemistry between the main leads, also some other times with Veronica Park and Dae Ju. Yes the main leads acting was good individually, but when they had those lovey dovey moments, I can't feel the spark. I feel like the romance didn't get to develop smoothly, like Gal Hee was just determined to remain to her job at first but when the crazy part of the plot started, she suddenly wants to protect her boss and falling for him eventually. Same is true with Do Min Ik. He was just acting like the boss that he is then suddenly, he's so confused with the two girls (Gal Hee as the secretary and Gal Hee as Veronica Park). I didn't get why he fell for the fake Veronica Park just because he sees his secretary in her, when he didn't even care about his secretary at first. Maybe because he couldn't imagine a chaebol daughter acting pure and humble with him? I feel like him having feelings was rushed. I don't know if it's just me. For the rest, when everything was revealed and we're only left with some side stories, I didn't find something that's interesting enough for me to love this drama, even the main plot was made frustrating and draggy to me. Overall, I think the story went downhill. The only thing that barely made this drama worth watching for me is the acting. Was this review helpful to you?
BEST KDRAMA OF 2023
I don't know about you, but this for me, is the best kdrama I've watched this 2023.Moving has such a never before seen plot, story and characters. To be honest, I started this drama because it has a high rating in MDL. The story and how the kids having these supernatural abilities didn't quite intrigued me at first. However, as the story progressed, I get to know a lot of characters. First off, the parents. They all have that certain character who played an important role in the drama. I liked how each detail was perfectly woven together. From their meetups, to their amazing display of abilities— I think all characters have that likeable characteristics with them. I literally did not hate or dislike any of them. I thought the flashbacks was way too long, consuming majority of the episodes. Some were even confusing as we get to jump back and forth from a date/year to another date/year. I thought, "Hey when am I getting the story for the kids? How are they supposed to prove themselves in this drama?" However, everything was made efficiently. It was to build up the story and to put emphasis on how this kids get to have their abilities. Now, I believe this season was more about the parents rather than their children. As I've said, it was perfectly woven, not overwhelming, and the chemistry between each and every character was perfect. I've never seen something like this before; a perfect blend of supernatural, gore, thrill, romance, and little bit of comedy.
I'll repeat this again, everything about this drama is PERFECT. I know, a season two will be inevitable as the latter part of the drama showed us something was up for us to look forward to.

Happiness but not a happy drama, but I'm not complaining.
Unlike the title, this drama isn't about happiness but the struggle to survive an outbreak. At first I thought it was quite boring, the first few minutes didn't really intrigue me much. But as the drama progresses, I see so much intense scenes and thrilling moments. I had a lot of jump scares in between, I don't know, maybe because I became weak hearted lol. I also like how both the leads were strong and independent on their own, specially because I know none of them will be like "nO jUsT LeAvE mE aLoNe I'm GoNnA dIE aNyWaY", in short, I really like their strong character. The other characters too were interesting, which makes me feel annoyed toward towards them like most of the time. The actors did great in their respective roles. However, I feel like the ending was too short to my liking or because I didn't get to see how others were doing. Overall, it was a good watch and would really love to see the season 2 if there would be one.Was this review helpful to you?
