A Love NOT So Beautiful

First of all is it even a remake of A Love So Beautiful drama because it doesn't seem like it at all. Well little changes are definitely fine but they literally changed the whole story. The original drama and also the Korean remake starts with the female lead confessing her love to the male lead and when she gets rejected instead of being heartbroken she decides to win him over. This scene shows that the female lead wants the male lead to know that she loves him right? In this drama I never once felt that Som-O loves Chadjen. Som-O didn't want Chadjen to know that she likes him. Like she was screaming at him for no reason, getting mad, behaving as if she's his best friend. And blah blah blah

They messed up the original characters so much like bruh you won't even believe it. Jiang Chen is a cold male lead and in my opinion one of the best cold male lead in dramaland but is Jiang Chen a emotionally unavailable when you need him. The answer is no. Yes he doesn't express his feelings that much. But he still cares about Xiao Xi, his friends and sibling a lot. He is a kind hearted person, he is smart, he is mature. On the other hand they first showed that Chadjen as a clumsy person in his early childhood, then a famous student in his teenage years and an emotionally unavailable person in his adulthood. Yes the male lead is a smart guy, he is a topper but in the original he was a normal student NOT A CELEBRITY. Chadjen was like a celebrity, like a real one. Many girls were approaching to him and he didn't know how to say no, Jiang Chen knew how to say no. Also Chadjen was a really good swimmer in the first two to three episodes but after that the swimmer Chadjen just disappeared. Why did they even had to add this swimming Chadjen thing. Was the male lead a swimmer in the original drama? No, he wasn't, only the second male lead was a swimmer. I bet they didn't do any kind of research before making this drama. There were so many things wrong with the character of male lead.

Xiao Xi is a bit childish but she's responsible enough about most of the things. In the original the female lead becomes an independent woman. And watching her character development, felt like a beautiful journey. Xiao Xi made so many efforts for Jiang Chen, like waking up early, cooking for him, trying to be a better student, trying to get his attention and so on. Som-O is not Xiao Xi at all, she cooked for him once and then nothing else. She is so stupid but then she wanted to be a doctor like seriously!!!! Then when she failed her admission examination and she wanted Chadjen to tutor her. Why he should help you? Don't you have any self respect? Som-O is the most annoying character ever. I didn't like her at all.

Neo did justice to Wu Bo Song's character as Tao but still something was missing. Neo is a good actor and that's why Tao was likable. But the writing kinda messed up lots of things. Lin Jing Xiao was tough and cool but she was cute and kind at the same time. Emma was the right choice for this role but she wasn't anything like Lin Jing Xiao, she tried to act tough and cool but failed miserably. Lu Yang our chinese Nobita was so cute and funny but New was kinda annoying.

Xiao Xi's father supported her in everything, this father daughter duo was on same team in their little family. But in this version what's wrong with the father? He's so irritating, controlling his daughter, being overprotective for nothing. Your daughter Som-O isn't even that pretty or smart. I don't know why but I didn't like Som-O's mother too.

They messed up the main plots, this 5 students are friends, they like and care for each other a lot. They had bonding and their those chaotic, sad or cute moments was everything but we got nothing. In this version they just met up became friends instantly, no development at all. The poem Jiang Chen had written for his father literally made me cry but what the hell Chadjen wrote? Jiang Chen had a reason, strong desire to be a doctor but it was never shown in Chadjen's character. After admission examination failure Xiao Xi became mature, she made herself better in terms of many things. Don't let me get started on that stage play thing.

AND why the hell they turned the School Doctor to a senior student? I wanted to see the doctor student cute interactions again T_T

Every single thing about this drama is nonsense to me. I hate this drama a looooooooooooooot.

Dew is a horrible actor. Prim is below average. Some people were saying that she is a good actress but she acts good only in thriller dramas. I mean does that even make any sense. If she was a good actor, she would have acted well in every genre.

GMMTV used to be a company who used to make good adaptions or at least watchable one's. I don't know what happened to them after F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, they started doing a poor job adapting new remake dramas. In GMMTV 2023 they announced 6 remakes project and all of them failed miserably when it comes to storyline. I knew the same was gonna happen to this one too after watching Faceless Love, Cherry Magic, Find Yourself and Beauty Newbie, still these dramas were watchable for the first half but A Love So Beautiful was a NIGHTMARE. I am so glad my nightmare finally ended!

A Happy Ending but A UNnecessary one

This special episode was focused on their wedding day but where is the story? What was the purpose of dragging it for 4 episodes when everything could have been done in 1 episode? I personally feel that it was a stupid special episode. I don't mean it was really bad but I feel like it was unnecessary. I know the whole original story is about their marriage but wouldn't it be better if they had shown it in the original story.

To be honest from the first episode of this special I didn't like the concept. Well definitely it's good to see them after graduation but there were so many unnecessary things. Can't we just have some happy moments that would actually make sense without any third person interference. They wanna get married so just focus on that. And even after so many days spending time together can't Kuea trust Lian? Communication is really important for a relationship to be successful. That was kinda disappointed. The happy ending didn't feel like a happy ending but more felt like a force happy ending. Marriage isn't the happy ever after of a relationship. Why they had to rush their marriage like this? Is it really all about facing difficulty and solving it together? It's really old theme for 2023.

Comedy scenes were robbed from us with NC scenes. Like there should be a proper balance of this thing but there wasn't. It's a drama special of a rom com drama. So it should be like a rom com. Last episodes product placement took a lot of time which made me uninterested in the last part and I end up skipping most of the scenes. I think everyone acting was okay but Khondiao's acting sucks.

On the other hand the supporting characters saved this drama for me. Syn Nuer supporting each other and making their relationship better was wholesome. Foei steal the show again. He did a lot of hard work to make their wedding success. He definitely deserves a virtual hug.

Well that's all. It was my personal opinion. While watching Cutie Pie the series I used to feel excited whenever the new episodes would air. I used to wait for the upcoming episodes but for this special one I didn't feel the same. For it was a disappointed. They could focus on their wedding with a better plot. It was overall good but definitely a big no for me. If you enjoyed the drama you can give it a try cause who knows you might like it.

Sex Education Thailand - A Different Attempt Taken By GMMTV

It wasn't planned that I would watch this drama. But when the first episode released I just couldn't control myself. Now if you have seen the first episode you will realize that that very one episode made this drama very very special. It was cute but complicated which will keep you till the end.

As a early teenager when I found out what really sex is all about I felt really disgusted. But only later I found out most of the people did too. Haha

I have to say that all the characters were perfectly written. The concept was clear with a mystery in it. Which makes the drama more interesting is as we get to know each characters better each episodes. Many different topics were discussed in this drama. Especially different kinds of sexual preferences and how the society reacts to them.

Taking about the characters

It was Just Between THem

And we waited fu*king 3 years for this. Like they really needed to kill an awesome manhwa vibe bl story like this. Like I had a better plot in my mind.

Both of the characters were swimmers. How awesome the story could have been. Team's sleeping disorder could have a much better reason. Why agrhhhhhhhh Why?

Every episode was pure torture for me. I kept saying myself it would get better it would get better. But it was all an illusion.

LIKES
(+) Side characters like ABC group were more entertaining than the lead couple.
(+) Wann and Tul story was wholesome. They had a better plot and understanding relationship.
(+) Manaow stole the show again. Also like her love story. I wish she had more screen time

DISLIKES
I don't even wanna start. Most of the things were really irritating. Specially acting.

It was the most popular drama of November to January on MDL. Not even any Kdrama could bet it but what was the point when it's a disappointment.

Last but not the least thank god it ended.

For the 10 years they played the "Previous Film Love" but the happiness lied in the "New Film Love"

I know it sounds a little weird but this was the concept which made me excited about this. When I first knew about this drama it wasn't planned to watch this. But as since December 2022 I had decided that I would explore Dramaland more this year so I forced myself to watch this and I don't regret my decision.

STORY

In the first episode the backstory was shown in detail except the main themes which mainly were spoilers. The story progresses and shows us every characters life story. The flashbacks were done perfectly. It shows us how a murderer can change everyone's life involved to that. And how a lie can destroy our lives and all the suffering is our families.

ACTING

Kudos to all the actors. Everyone did a great job. I have seen Off, Ohm, Koy, So, Champ and Nink's acting previously in different kinds of character. In this drama mostly their characters were sad but realistic. It was my first time seeing Tu and View. I have to say that Tu still has to learn more expressions to different feeling. Her face was the same throughout the whole show. If you mute the sound and turn of the captions and see Tu's acting you will not be able to understand if she is sad, angry or happy. She is still a newbie but really hyped because of F4. And it's totally unfair. On the other hand View was awesome. You will feel the efforts in her acting. Two more people to mention. The actor who played the character of Mai and little Phukhao. They stole the show for me in terms of acting. Pluem and Phoo 's acting balanced it for me.

MUSIC

It was good but I don't know much about it. Cause I usually don't feel excited about the OST of an drama or movie.

LIKES

Honestly I didn't expect anything from this show. It was a forced watch so it's all my fault if it's not good. But It was a decent shoe. It's not the drama for which I was excited every week but if you binge watch this you will find this exciting as the mysteries are disclosed you can watch the next episode immediately.

PHUKHAO: He loved Mai a lot. Mai was his hero, his inspiration. It's was really traumatic for him losing Mai. The anger inside him is understandable. This may not be the character which will give you comfort. But Phukhao will protect you and love you till his last breath. Even though Mai isn't alive anymore but he always was in Phukhao's heart. He wants to do everything his brother couldn't do. He is always there for his loved ones.

Brothers Rivalry Done Wrong

The concept of brothers becoming enemies is such a common thing is dramaland. But if it's not done right it would make the whole drama a big flop that most of the people would regret watching it. Brothers Rivalry is anyway a risky theme to work with cause many people doesn't like this theme.

With such an interesting cast GMMTV really did some shit. The start of this drama was good but in episode 4 everyone could understand where this was really going.

I personally feel the first episode was an okay one with the proper introduction of the main and supporting characters. I liked the relations between the Li, Korn and Win. But did it last long? NOoooooooooooo
U know everything was going okay even though Korn's father was a total insane person but the main villain of their life is none other than Rung. I really didn't like her character from the beginning. Like girl was so much annoying. She gets involved with people life so much. Does she even understand the meaning of privacy and space? Like girl you aren't two years old kid. She and only she is the reason for all her miseries.

From the start till the end we don't get any character development for the characters which was annoying and stupid. Just for a stupid bitch two brothers relationship was fucked up. The conflict between the brothers were so big but the reason behind it was so silly.

Let's talk about the script writer who is none other than New. His ideas are so stupid. He really should stay away from GMMTV.

The supporting characters were the only good thing of this drama. Their stories were more logical and realistic. Let's not even talk about the father.

So this drama isn't anything special. So it wouldn't really matter if you guys skip this one. Although Ohm and Perth together could have been a big serve but it really wasn't.

Stranger's to Friend's to Stranger's

I have not been writing review for almost 7 months now and strangely the last review I had written was also Ohm's drama Double Savage. Double Savage was so disappointed that I had to share my thoughts somewhere. Now even though I really don't wanna write any review but I really have to do this because of Ohm and Wednesday Club because they deserves it.

From the first trailer to the original trailer I literally had zero expectations from Wednesday Club. Even the first few episodes felt boring but with every new episodes the excitement started increasing. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. The main leads were really suitable for their characters. We could see them in different characters and another version of their acting.

One the main charms of this show was May and Peem. When Satang and Film was replaced in place of Joong and Jane I was really disheartened. But guys Satang did a great job portraying the character of Peem. And Satang and Piploy had great chemistry together. And Man I really wish Jane wasn't replaced because I wanted to see Ohm with Jane as we already have seen Ohm and Film as a couple before.

Maybe this wasn't perfect drama with a great storyline. But important issues like Friendship, Love, Marriage, Abortion, Mental health, Politics rivalry etc were discussed and portrayed in a great way. And in the end it was far better than many other dramas that got higher rating than this one.

I truly enjoyed it and if you guys give it a chance instead of looking at the bad reviews, I personally think you also might like it!

Love is Blind

I didn't know anything about this show until I saw the Official Poster on Twitter even though I follow so many thai drama fan pages. And the poster, yes two man posing behind a couch on caught my attention instantly. From that exact moment I knew there is something odd about this poster, it's not that simple as it seems, and guess what I was right!

I read the synopsis and I didn't understand even a single thing, I was like so there is a guy Joe who gets into an accident and he wakes up in another man's body whose name in also Joe! I was confused as hell, that even after watching the trailer I couldn't understand anything. After watching the first episode finally my all confusions were cleared. In simple words this is a love story but love stories aren't always a dreamy one.

I know up since "Lovely Writer" era, I always liked him. Up is a great actor and already had proved it multiple times even before My Stand In but most of the people were blind not to notice it. I feel nobody else could play the role of Ming as Up did, he literally bring out the emotions of that character on the screen that audiences can feel it. Ming was only 20 years old when he first met Joe and he was even younger when he fall in long with Tong. A lonely person, who has no friends, doesn't show his love or feelings to anyone fall in love with a guy. Is society gonna accept it? But his family never will! Ming did questionable things throughout the whole drama, everyone hates him, I did too. We didn't know anything about Ming's past or his story. Why did he even fall in love with Tong. In the first few episodes, I was disgusted with Ming because to me he was a guy who loves his sister's boyfriend secretly, obsessed with Tong's back and used an innocent man's emotions for his own pleasure. So now tell me who wouldn't hate him. But Ming is guy who is in love, his pain after losing Joe, the way he kept waiting for him, the way he was ready to die for him made me realise that I can't hate Ming. Ming is a red flag, rich bitch, total asshole but his love for Joe was bigger than all those things.

MING IS A CHARACTER WHO IS EASY TO HATE BUT HARD TO FORGET.

This was my first time watching Poom and he literally stole everyone's heart. Poom as Joe was everything, he was a sunshine. Joe is kind, honest, lovely, respects everyone, even though he is an orphan he managed to be the best person ever. Anybody will love Joe as a person. But he makes stupid decision sometimes T_T

TONG is and will be one of the most hated characters in the history of BL. Like I wanted to kill him so many times. Mek Jirakit, a former GMMTV artist finally could shine again after leaving gmmtv. Mek is a good actor but since 2017 GMMTV never gave Mek any big roles or cast him in their biggest projects. Mek was villain in Angel Beside Me too, and he acts better as a villain. Mek personally enjoyed working in this drama also loved all the fame and hate he got!

All other supporting characters are also good. I didn't find Sol annoying, it's just that he realised his feelings for Joe very late. Wut is so smart and thoughtful, I liked this character too. I feel bad for May that she fall in love with a guy with Tong. Ming's big brother Mike is hot af. I don't like Joe 2.0 at all.

I liked the fact that they showed the backstory in the first few episodes not in the middle or past present past present kinda thing, because it makes the audience understand the story better. They did a good job with the cinematography, I really like Joe's house. Up and Poom literally killed it. They were on fire. The acting was awesome, like people can't complain about at all.

ONE THING I DIDN'T LIKE ONE THING that Joe was trapped in someone's body. I know the whole story is about this but Joe deserves happiness in his own body, he was treated like a replacement or a stand in throughout his whole life. And he being trapped in Joe 2.0 body till the end, getting success and love, all is scam. In the end Joe was, is and will be a stand in for the rest of his life.

23.5 "Even on the toughest day, something good can happen to you. It depends on how you look at it.

The first episode starts with this quote which gives the viewers a positive vibe. The first episode starts with a hope that gets destroyed with every next episodes. The main characters were supposed to be likeable but with their every actions they loose their original vibes that was shown in the first half of the drama.

TALKING ABOUT THE PLOT AND MAIN LEADS..........
Well the plot isn't anything new at all, it was predictable, a cliche misunderstanding plot which is often disliked by many. The drama losses it's touch when Ongsa lied to Sun about her identity, she literally played with Sun's feelings using being introverted as an excuse. Then Ongsa didn't have the gut to confess her lies, and she would have continued to do so if Sun hadn't found out. Ongsa couldn't do anything for this relationship until the last episode. Also at one point Sun was wrong. If the main characters losses their vibes like this, it becomes hard to continue watching the next episodes.

SECOND LEADS AND SUPPORT CHARACTERS
I really didn't like how they showed us the story of second leads because it felt so out of the place and random. They just randomly showed us their their cute moments without much background or story, there were only random romantic moments. Alpha was the most matured and likeable character of this drama. Ciize was so different in this drama from her all previous roles. It was refreshing to see her as Alpha. Rather than Tinh and Mawin, Ton and Mawin had more chemistry together. Tinh, Mawin, Ton and Charoen, their stories as a couple didn't make much sense. As I feel they were paired wrongly. I liked Teacher Nida and Teacher Bambam's story more than others. As they were caring and honest about everything.

The last episode felt like a special episode rather than the last episode. I was expecting something different not the common plot with unlikeable elements. There weren't any memorable moments in this drama.

Overall, It was just okay nothing special. They could have shown us the Grade 11 Ongsa and Sun's story from episode 9 to 12, Ongsa being matured, brave, straightforward and not caring about others opinions. It would be something different and special.

Her meaning of love was slow motion but he saw her in fast forward

This two concept of slow motion and fast forward was an important element of this movie. It's really not about that how you saw it. If you are in love then it's just love.

This movie concept and story wasn't anything new but the self loving thing made this one a memorable. You don't need to make yourself beautiful for others you need to make yourself better for you.

Their love was simple. If you love someone you will accept their own self. You won't wanna change anything. In this concept I would say the love triangle was done right. They were made for each other and also ended up together.

At some point I did feel like I have watched this storyline before many times but it wasn't completely same. It had a different vibe.

It's perfect for a gloomy day to brighten up your mood.

Well it was losing your braincells journey. You don't need to use your brain to watch this series. Only thing that is good about this drama was Ai. Well it had a great starting but failed at everything. It didn't make any difference or sense in anyway. The fluffy things were good at first but got bored at last. And why they added the side characters story when they wouldn't show those stories properly. And what the hell was the point of this drama??????

I wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone. There are other ton's of dramas much better than this. It was not so bad but definitely not good for currently watching drama. But that's it. Definitely no for binge watching.

I guess just like me everyone had no expectations from this drama for many reasons. But it was so good when we literally expected nothing. I hated the official poster so much but now I understand the meaning behind it. As a new couples both the leads had best chemistry. But I liked the second lead couple more. It was a cute, non toxic story overall. Maybe it wasn't perfect in every aspects but it definitely wasn't boring for a single moment. It felt cliche in a good way. It did make our Sunday's special for 12 weeks.

If you are looking for a simple light hearted drama with good music and cast then Only Boo is always there to make your day special!

The Progress of Falling in Love aka The First Love

I didn't read the synopsis and I thought Nanon was the one chasing his senior until I watched the first episode and it was other way around.

The story is really simple and cute. Belle one of the most beautiful senior of school always get every guy she wants to have but this time she failed to do so because of S, her junior. Breaking up with her ex boyfriend, he gives Belle a challenge to win over S and if Belle could do so in a year he will stop approaching Belle. Accepting the challenge Belle and her two best friends do many crazy things to make S fall in love with Belle but S is someone who doesn't even want to know what love actually feels like. When Belle actually falls in love with S, she stop approaching him. But at that time S has fallen in love with Belle.

This is pretty much the whole story with some additional plot twists. The interactions between Belle and S was actually really cute and sweet. Friendship of Belle and her friends were genuine. Overall it was a tennage love story with the same elements but still it seems fresh. It wasn't cliche at all, they didn't try to act mature rather their age.

Supporting characters were good and everyone did a great job in acting. Taewin stole some spotlight for me. This guy seemed timid at first but not only he is intelligent but also learnt about love real quick. It was fun to see him whenever he appeared on screen.

Let's talk about Nanon, he was only 16 years old and it was one his early roles as a main lead. He was good at acting even though he was so young. Isn't it a slap to the people who defend their favourite actors acting skills saying it's their early roles and they will get better later. Nanon did justice to his acting and show the true feelings that how a nerd tennage boy actually falls in love. Thanaerng was always good in her every roles and she did a pretty good job in here too.

There might a reason why people would hesitate to watch this, because it's a 2016 drama, but it doesn't feel like old and cliche drama.

And it has Nanon in it, young cute Nanon who would miss it!

What's Your Three Words To Forever?

I started watching this much randomly on Netflix. When I first started I was confused if it's a documentary or something like that because the starting was an interview of different couples who have been married for a long time.

It's a story of three different couples. As the story progresses we can see how their relationship is. Woman are the glue that sticks her family but is it really easy for her. This movie also shows how important is to communicate with each other. Not just between the couples but also between parents and children. Also marriage is a really important thing. This thing definitely shouldn't be rushed.

This was like a warm hug for a bad day. A decent watch.

She was his greatest Love

This is my first Filipino Movie. Well the storyline was really unexpected. I literally didn't think it would be like this. This movie has something really special about itself. The story was somehow new and different.

STORY
About the sudden but great love story of Kenji and Athena. Athena Abigail was diagnosed with a disease and was dying. So Abigail break up with Kenji.
