It's hard to take care of actresses

what sensation do you feel when you go through a long road with views on either side? Maybe it's just "just knowing", but you don't really get into the beauty/ugliness, do you?

More or less like that is felt when watching the Korean drama Shooting Stars. The audience is invited to take a straight path with flashes of fragments of the stories of celebrities and the people who work behind them. Less 'deep' so it doesn't feel intense.

It would be better if the story of the Korean drama Shooting Stars was taken from an angle like the Korean drama ‘Record of Youth’ and the Korean drama ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ which tells the whole story of the family and friendship of 3 women. So that the audience can dissolve and enjoy the whole drama.

A less 'deep' story, possibly causing the Korean drama Shooting Stars to only be able to gain 1..% during broadcast (16 episodes), and closed with a rating of 1.477% at the end of the episode.

Even though this drama is studded with stars. The main cast is also very great: Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young-Dae whose chemistry is really good

There doesn't seem to be an age difference between the two. The more senior factor, Lee Sung Kyung (6 years older) is likely to be his skill at melting the difference in flying hours. Including when playing a student, Lee Sung Kyung (32 years) does not look old, and still fits in her 20s.

If there is anything that is a hindrance, it is Lee Sung Kyung's attachment as the brand ambassador of Chanel Beauty so that her clothes, cosmetics and accessories look luxurious, not in accordance with her role as an office worker.

The rest is okay. Including ost and cinematography that spoils the eye. Including several spots when Kim Young-Dae (Gong Tae-Sung) was in Africa, really cool.

As well as an important message, anyone can become a top star. But you have to process it, don't get famous and have a lot of money.

The Last Supper

why? Both aired on KBS, how come the Korean drama The Kings Affection is superior to the Korean drama Moonshine?

This advantage can be seen from the rating of 12.1% in the last episode of the Korean drama The Kings Affection, while the Korean drama Moonshine only got 5.9%. Once it was 7.5% in the initial episode, but it continued to sag until it reached that number.

The awards were also dominated by the Korean drama The Kings Affection with 5 awards, while the Korean drama Moonshine only got 3 awards.

So, in my opinion, Korean drama: The Kings Affection is boring, especially when it reaches dozens of episodes. It feels so long.

Was it because of the good ratings that it was extended to 20 episodes?

As we know, Korean dramas that can reach a 2-digit rating generally consist of many episodes, such as the Korean drama My Only One (106 episodes) which managed to break through 46.6 - 52.4 percent, the Korean drama Homemade Love Story (50 episodes). with a rating of 32.9% in the last episode.

So, my temporary conclusion (because I didn't use in-depth research hehehe), Korean people like soap operas that are long and convoluted, so the Korean drama: The Kings Affection, which should have finished in 16 episodes (or even 12 episodes?) Was extended for the sake of satisfaction. Korean audience.

Admittedly, there are some advantages to Korean drama: The Kings Affection, such as the story which is continuous and flows smoothly, although it often doesn't make you curious to see the next episode.

Also, the OSTs are very superior compared to the Korean drama Moonshine, namely: Shadow of you (SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y), One and Only (Lyn) and If I (Baek Ji-young) …… huhuhu makes me cry

In addition, the writer-nim's decision when composing the Dam-i/ scene played by Park Eun-Bin when dealing with his grandfather Han Ki-Jae (played by Yoon Je-Moon) was really good. As a senior actor, Yoon Je-Moon is indeed a coconut elder. The older the more coconut milk.

How about Park Eun-Bin who acted perfectly in the Korean drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo (gained a rating of 19.210% in the last episode)? That's cool. He successfully disguised himself as a real king, despite his petite body. But she's a girl right?

But the character I like the most in Korean drama: The Kings Affection, is Jung Seok-Jo, played by Bae Soo-Bin. He is a cold-blooded killer, the right-hand man of Dam-i/ Lee Hwi's grandfather, also Jung Ji-Un's biological father.

In Korean dramas with non-kingdom themes, Bae Soo-Bin often gets antagonistic roles. In fact, he became a specialist actor who cheated on the main female character, such as in the Korean drama A Pledge To God and the Korean drama Secret Love. Makes the audience excited: I want to hit him! Hehehe??

Lha in this drama, how come the task: sret..sret..sret. …kill people! No wonder the writer-nim's concoction for the scene of Jung Ji Un's father's conversion is very touching.

So, do you recommend this Korean drama: The Kings Affection?

Mmmmm…. whatever. The score is 11-12 with the Korean drama: The Red Sleeve which aired on MBC, and received many awards from MBC.

KBS apparently didn't want to lose, so it awarded many awards for Korean drama: The King's Affection, namely:

2021 KBS Drama Awards - December 31, 2021

Best Actress (Park Eun-Bin)
Best New Actor (Ro Woon)
Best Youth Actress (Choi Myung-Bin)
Netizen Award (Ro Woon & Park Eun-Bin)
Best Couple Award (Ro Woon & Park Eun-Bin)

Enemy in the Blanket

Really like it!

Korean drama: Moonshine is a mix of sweet, cute, excited to funny that makes you want to laugh.

One of the reasons is that the character Gye Sang-Mok, played by Hong Wan-Pyo, was originally annoying. As a thug her job extorts money, including Kang Ro Seo, which makes this girl owe Gye Sang-Mok a lot.

But instead of being afraid, Kang Ro Seo even dared to grab Gye Sang-Mok, until the thug's hair was bald. Angry to the top, Gye Sang-Mok went back and forth to chase Kang Ro Seo.

The chase ends when Gye Sang-Mok gets hit and falls off a cliff. Gye Sang-Mok has amnesia and turns obedient to Kang Ro Seo. "I don't know why, I'm always scared when I see that girl," he said. Hehehe yeah yeah.??

Kang Ro Seo's heroism really stands out in Korean dramas: Moonshine, something that I have encountered more often in Chinese dramas with royal themes, compared to Korean dramas which strictly follow patriarchal rules.

What also makes Korean drama: Moonshine a must-watch is its deep moral message, especially about friendship. Like the friendship between Crown Prince Lee Pyo, Kang Ro Seo, Nam Young and the Minister of War's son, Han Yae-Jin.

There are 3 types of friends that are useful to have:

Moral friend
A reliable friend
Insightful friend

Said Nam Young when Prince Lee Pyo reminded them of the meaning of their friendship.

Likewise, the friendship between Kang Ro Seo's father and the trouble maker, Chief Royal Secretary, Lee Shi-Heum. Before being beheaded Lee Shi-Heum remembered their conversation:

Flowers wither after blooming
The moon is getting smaller after the full moon
If you have friends to age and drink with
Then it will take away the worries of a century

Because that's what friends are supposed to be like, right? Can be a friend to confide in, a friend who can be relied upon and a friend who will remind you if you have strayed from the track you should be on.

It's like eating vegetables without seasoning

Have you ever eaten vegetables without seasoning? There are salty, sweet, sour, but the taste bears it all. It can be eaten to simply relieve hunger. But I don't want to add.

That's the impression of watching the Thai drama: Flash Marriage. Since the beginning, we have been treated to beautiful women with sexy bodies, so sexy that they even come to the office wearing mini and open clothes. The sexy dress that reminds me of the party dress shows Lady Diana Spencer's bare chest and shoulders.

The late Lady Diana? Far away? Hehehe besides him, I don't think I've ever seen a celebrity as elegant and perfect as Lady Diana in sexy clothes.

The idea of the story is also cliché. Contract marriage for the sake of getting the chair of company president. Strangely when Lalin (Pooklook) finally managed to get married, the president director chair was still not given.

The storyline is so messy. The only scene that stands out is the parade of sexy clothes by Lalin (Pooklook) and his two stepsisters: Nat (May Pitchanart Sakhakorn) and Phrao (Suzana Renaud) as well as the fight scenes that Pokpong (Tono Phakin Khamwilaisak) always wins.

But what annoyed me the most was the kiss scene between Lalin and Pokpong. It's just lip to lip. Meanwhile, it is said that the two of them were drunk so they did not realize they were doing a "one night stand".

If the bed scene isn't good, just pretend to be writhing behind the covers, hehehe …??

A good ML scene without an audience feeling uncomfortable is played by Ji Jin-Hee as Kang Tae Wook and Kim Nam Joo as Go Hye-Ran in the Korean drama: Misty.

In the drama, Ji Jin Hee fondles Kim Nam Joo's neck so that the actress seems to shake. Even though it's possible that Ji Jin Hee just put her face on Kim Nam Jo's neck, but because it was done under a blanket, the audience's imagination was everywhere.

Another annoying scene in the Thai drama: Flash Marriage is the angry faces of the antagonists. It's like a soap opera scene where the actress glares angrily and takes too long, huhuhu.

So many negative values, why isn't there anything good? Yes, here! The music is not bad, but how come it is very similar to Zia's song “Only One” in the Korean drama ‘Cinderella with Four Knights’.

This is indeed a fatal error. I compare every drama I watch to a good Korean drama. Definitely lose.??

Lessons on Don't Write Novels

The image of ordinary people about autopsy makes corpses 'deel duwel', becomes enlightened after watching the Korean drama: Partners for Justice.

Before performing the autopsy, the doctor and his assistant will pray. Then, while the doctor is doing the autopsy, the assistants will take careful notes and take pictures of the body. After the autopsy was completed, the body was neatly stitched back together, before being sent for burial/cremation.

The Korean drama: Partners for Justice makes the audience amazed at how much science can benefit if it is used optimally. Especially when side by side with other sciences.

Writer-nim intelligently described it with a meeting of 2 groups, namely the National Forensic Agency (BFN) group and the prosecutor/police group. They exchanged drinks saying: “Long live science! Long live the law!

Hey, cool huh?

Korean Drama: Partners for Justice is really cool, so you don't get bored watching it for the 3rd time. Compared to its sequel, Korean drama: Partners for Justice tells the story of many cases that are solved surprisingly, then Korean drama: Partners for Justice Season 2 tends to be more fixated on the case of doctor Jang Cheol who has a heartbreaking story.

And the story of Oh Man-Sang who died in season 1, apparently managed to outwit investigators. With the help of doctor Jang Cheol who transplanted DNA into the bone marrow of a victimized unknown person, everyone thought Oh Man-Sang was dead.

Is that really possible? There's news here. Of course, it wasn't criminal, it happened accidentally. Maybe the story inspired the writer-nim when making the scenario for the Korean drama: Partners for Justice.

Imagination may be wild, but writer-nim cleverly always relates each case to the principles of the pioneer of forensic science who later became known as Sherlock Holmes from Lyon, France, namely:

Every contact leaves a trace (Locard Principle)

In addition to disassembling science, there are 3 love stories in Korean drama: Partners for Justice, namely: Prosecutor Kang Hyun who secretly loves Prosecutor Eun Sol, doctor Baek Beom with his old love story, and detective story Cha Soo-Ho who has a heavy crush on an expert. poison, Stella Wang.

It's also a heart-wrenching story about a parent who regrets pushing his child to excel and ignoring his child's need for warm, loving attitudes.

Butttt...... it's forbidden to watch while eating, right? I'm afraid that I will feel sick to see Baek Beom's doctor scraping the corpse. ??

Because blood is not always thicker

Joo Won-Tak asks: “The capital of India?”

Jin Moo-Hak replied: “Indonesia!”

Wkwkwk.... I'm laughing. The Korean drama Dali and Cocky Prince is really entertaining. The romance scene between Kim Da Li and Jin Moo Hak was so hilarious that it made me laugh.

I came to understand the selection of Park Gyu-Young as Kim Da-Li. As an actress who has never been lined up as the main character, Park Gyu-Young managed to play Kim Da Li smoothly.

Meanwhile, actor Kim Min-Jae who often gets the main role, it's really strange if he doesn't succeed in playing Jin Moo-Hak, a ridiculous rich director because of his lack of academic education.

Music and cinematography also really spoil the audience. Coupled with the writernim's expertise in composing coherent and curious scenes in each episode, the Korean drama Dali and Cocky Prince is really recommended for those who need entertainment.

If there's a critique, it's a cliché scene like suddenly the lights go out and the two main characters find each other overlapping, naked, when the lights suddenly come on again.

Is it okay? Just a little bit. ️

Sweet love story

"Hopefully, after eating this
I'm not getting fat"

This is the prayer before eating that was said by 3 friends: Zeng Li, Wu Ying and Ma Yi Yi. Prayers that of course make the audience smile.

The friendship of these 3 beautiful women is indeed an added value for the drama "Sweet Teeth". Maybe because it's based on a novel, the character of each personnel feels intact.

Score of 8.4 on the mydramalist.com site, which made me watch the drama "Sweet Teeth" and it didn't disappoint! “Sweet Teeth” is a sweet drama.

Not only the acting of Chinese actors/actresses who are handsome and beautiful like candy. The audience is also entertained by a series of coherent and flowing stories. Natural and not made up.

Like story telling, in the first episode the audience was invited to follow Zeng Li's daily activities by bicycle to work, the Dong Hu University library.

Zeng Li talked about his love for books. his silliness, as well as his friends, Wu Ying and Ma Yi Yi who not only share joys and sorrows, also raise capital to establish Carol's Cafe.

The interior design of Carol's Cafe and its knick-knacks reminds me of the dramas "To Love" and "Dating in the Kitchen". Looks homey and makes you feel at home.

So sweet and flowing, the drama "Sweet Teeth" can be watched while relaxing. Eating popcorn while smiling at the behavior of Zeng Li and Ai Jing Chu. Wu Ying and Liu Yu Cheng. As well as Ma Yi Yi and Deng Hao Ran.

The plot is okay, the cinematography is also okay, supported by a sweet and cheerful soundtrack, the drama "Sweet Teeth" is recommended to be watched anytime. The story is not complicated and does not make you frown.

There's something a little annoying. Wan Zi Lin's acting as Ma Yi Yi is not natural. After I checked, on the mydramalist.com site, it turns out that this dark-skinned actress has just entered the small screen in 2020.

Compare this with Betty Wu, who plays Zeng Li, who has appeared on TVShow since she was 3 years old. Meanwhile, Bi Wen Jun has played Ai Jing Chu since she was a baby. No!

The second annoyance is the kisseu scene which doesn't feel right.

When a boy is afraid to see his lover, afraid of being hit or something, And then meets at the flyover in good health, to express his relief, should he hug or kiss?

Should I hug?

You are not timid and looking for a good drama series?

This drama not only won 4 awards at the 2022 SBS Drama Awards - December 31, 2022, it also received an 8.8 vote on mydramalist, a very excellent score.

The screenwriter managed to compile a story that is coherent and captivating. The music and cinematograph support is cool, making the audience immersed in exploring the thoughts of a serial killer.

Like the perpetrator of the Red Cap Case, Cho Kang-Moo, who strangled and stripped his victim. Cho Kang-Moo has a scary memory, of his father stripping his mother naked after torturing her.

Song Ha-Youn (Kim Nam-Gil) is often stunned to hear answers that are boring. Among them are the answers to the reasons for a serial killer who takes great care of his health:

I want to live longer

So that more people I kill

Heavy applause is certainly aimed at the 2 main actors Kim Nam-Gil as Song Ha-Youn and Jin Sun-Kyu as Kook Young-Soo. I wish the main character wasn't Kim Nam-Gil would it be this good?

Mmm…..when you see Kim Nam-Gil's acting in the Korean drama "Island" (I and II), who seems to be walking alone through the lonely long endless hallway.

As well as his role as Song Ha-Youn who has a unique personality, it seems that we have to agree with the decision of the SBS Drama Awards to award him the Grand Prize. The same award that Kim Nam-Gil also received in 2019.

Drama has too much spice!

That's the conclusion after watching the Korean drama My Lovely Liar. Like a chef who is provided with premium cooking ingredients: Handsome/beautiful actors/actresses with good looks and acting; complete characters and other ingredients needed to create a drama that makes the audience curious in every episode.

Unfortunately, writernim failed to mix the ingredients and present them.

There are so many conflicts that feel far-fetched, such as Mok Sol-Hee's father, the main female character (FL), who lives in the forest. It's back to nature like that, but it looks forced and strange.

Plus the proportion of scenes of Mok Sol-Hee's mother, who works as a con artist, is too much, so it feels overdone and boring. Also the pressure on the male main character (ML), such as the pursuit of reporters, Choi Eom-Ji's older brother who thinks ML is a murderer, accusations of plagiarism and other dark aromas, make the Korean drama My Lovely Liar less comfortable to enjoy.

That doesn't mean writernim didn't try to add spices to make it taste sweeter. Unfortunately, the scene selection is cliche, such as the female main character (FL) helping ML who is sick. Then FL couldn't leave the bed because her hand was held and ML used it as a pillow. The two people fell asleep until morning.

Very boring, right? I don't know how many dozens of dramas use similar scenes.

Even though the director is Nam Sung-Woo, you know. Doi has successfully directed several popular dramas such as the Korean drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo" and the Korean drama "100 Days My Prince".

As a result of not being exciting enough and being too long (it seems like 12 episodes are enough), South Korean audiences only awarded the Korean drama My Lovely Liar with a rating of 2-3% (Source: AGB Nielson)

Luckily Mydramalist was kind enough to give it a fairly high rating, namely 8.5. The award goes to Hwang Minhyun's appearance which successfully enchanted the audience, as well as his song which became the ost of the Korean drama My Lovely Liar.

The Love Story of a Curious Spirit

Surprisingly, the ratings for the drama "Moon In The Day" were really bad. It only got a rating of 7.7 on Mydramalist, and only 1.0 percent nationwide (according to AGB Nielson), not even in the top 20 in the Seoul area.

After watching, I just understood. Actor Kim Young-Dae was caught up in making the Korean drama Moon In The Day, which didn't really have a plot.

At the beginning of the drama, it is said that Han Joon-O, played by Kim Young-Dae, really hates Kang Young-Hwa (Pyo Ye-Jin) and even repeatedly intends to kill him. The reason was that Do Ha's spirit possessed Han Joon-O, believing that Kang Young-Hwa was the reincarnation of the woman who had killed him.

Strangely enough, in the middle of the drama, the fact that Han Ri-Ta, the spirit who experienced her 19th reincarnation in the form of Kang Young-Hwa, was revealed to be Do Ha's wife.

Or simply, 1,500 years ago Do Ha and Han Ri-Ta were a married couple who loved each other. The two of them were separated because of the actions of Do Ha's stepfather, who also appeared 1,500 years later as a curious spirit named Seok Cheol Hwan.

How could Do Ha, a spirit who lived 1,500 years ago, forget the embodiment of the wife he loved so much? Even willing to die for his wife.

As a result of this confusing plot, Kim Young-Dae was forced to act like he hated/antagonized Pyo Ye-Jin, changing to acting in love/infatuated with his co-star.

The audience was no less confused. The spiritual atmosphere changes according to the fragments that appear incomplete in each episode (cliffhanger). Makes you uncomfortable! While I was having fun listening to the love story of a pigeon duo who were often disturbed by an antagonist, suddenly I was thrown into the past.

Actually, it's a good idea. The cliffhanger in the Korean drama Moon In The Day is like a puzzle that is trying to be put together into one complete story. However, this series of misperceptions really tears the audience apart cruelly.

It's not surprising, even though Kim Young-Dae and Pyo Ye-Jin's acting didn't disappoint, their chemistry was a mess. After mutual repulsion, mutual attraction occurs. ??

How can the director and scriptwriter be so cruel?

The Tragedy of Divorce Lawyers

Both tell stories about divorce lawyers, auto comparing the Chinese drama "My Boss" with the Korean drama "Strangers Again".

What is the difference? The actresses and actors of the Chinese drama "My Boss" are more good looking. Maybe it was because Chen Xing Xu and Zhang Ruo Nan were younger, both 27 years old. Meanwhile, the actresses and actors of the Korean drama "Strangers Again" are more "senior", Kang So-Ra (33 years) and Jang Seung-Jo (42 years).

The impact on the quality of acting. Main lead (ML) and female lead (FL) in the Chinese drama "My Boss", acting safely as the prince on a white horse and Cinderella. A truly entertaining watch.

Meanwhile, the Korean drama "Strangers Again" shows FL who has a strong and dominating character. Her husband (ML), who was used to giving in, finally raised his hand by pretending to be cheating so that FL would get angry and want to divorce. An expensive choice that must be paid for with large amounts of allowance.

Every decision has a price

If the price is regret

There's no other choice

Apart from the different acting, the story of the Chinese drama "My Boss" feels softer. Both ML and FL explain the legal rules (including articles and verses) in full in the memorization scene and the quiz scene.

Viewers of the Korean drama "Strangers Again" receive a more comprehensive presentation of the case. We look for loopholes in the rule of law to win cases. as well as related legal regulations, such as displaying bad things about your partner/ex-partner on social media. For me, of course this is more interesting, even though South Korean law is certainly different from Indonesia.

Apart from successfully formulating the case and the legal rules, writernim Park Jin-Ree also succeeded in building the foundation of the main character, by telling the story of the ML family and the FL family. So family members don't come together to create conflict between ML and FL.

But whatever, the reason I watched the Korean drama "Strangers Again" was because it starred Kang So-Ra. After getting married and having children in 2021, this beautiful woman is still cool. Tall, slim with adorable chubby cheeks.

Afraid of Blood? Don't Watch!

I swear, if you are afraid of blood, don't watch the Korean drama "Vigilante". Many sadistic scenes are presented, such as criminals being strangled with chains, a herd of pigs tearing apart the bodies of living humans who are tied up, the necks of people (still alive) being sliced with grinding knives, and many more.

What is the director's reason for presenting it? Because death, blood and violence always attract attention. Remember the story of the massacre at the Colosseum which made Ancient Romans flock to watch?

In the modern age, boxing matches that leave boxers bleeding and bruised are very popular. Meanwhile at the grassroots, people like cockfighting and fighting until one of the fighters is injured or dies.

Not surprisingly, a study found that around 90% of high-grossing films feature scenes of main characters involved in violence.

I watched the Korean drama "Vigilante" because this drama was played by Nam Joo-Hyuk. A tall, handsome actor, whose last appearance I saw was in the Korean drama "Twenty Five Twenty One". It feels like it's been a long time.

And like the previous drama, Nam Joo-Hyuk's acting never disappoints. Moreover, his partner is Lee Joon-Hyuk, an actor who often plays antagonists.

In the Korean drama "Vigilante", Lee Joon-Hyuk as Jo Gang-Ok is a refreshing drama with a dark nuance and "smells" of rancid blood.

In contrast to Kim Ji-Yong (Nam Joo-Hyuk), who is cold and quiet, the character of the rich man, Jo Gang-Ok, appears sloppy and often carries his own karep.

Choi Mi-Ryeo, the journalist, is a balancing character between the two. So that viewers can enjoy the Korean drama "Vigilante" which tells the story of a student facing a big criminal, more comfortably.

Imagine, you are enjoying a slice of tiramisu. Each layer tastes sweet, sticky and savory. That's more or less the sensation of watching the Chinese drama "Fireworks of My Heart".

The chemistry between Wang Chu Ran, who plays Xu Qin / Meng Qin, really blends with Yang Yang, who plays Song Yan.

The tug-of-war love story between the two, Song Yan and Xu Qin, and the way Song Yan spoiled Xu Qin, made the audience melt. So beautiful!

Two people love each other

Facing the pot that is cooking the porridge

Shut up

Waiting for each other to talk

The premise is simple, just about a pair of lovers separated by social strata, then reunited.

The setting is what is interesting, namely the familiarity and daily life of the firefighters (firefighters) who have to train every day. They set a certain number of seconds to put on clothes, prepare equipment, climb stairs and do other exercises.

The activities of the firemen in the Chinese drama "Fireworks of My Heart", which are similar to the military, are very different from those of the firemen in the Korean drama "The First Responders" which tend to be relaxed.

Another attraction of the Chinese drama “Fireworks of My Heart” is the cinematography. Plus the main character is extremely handsome and unbelievably beautiful :D, the audience will feel at home watching the 40 episodes.

This is very far from the Korean drama "The First Responders" which only has 12 episodes, and another 12 episodes for the Korean drama "The First Responders 2". Of course, there are pluses and minuses between Chinese dramas and Korean dramas.

Maybe like an analogy I once wrote, Chinese dramas are like a slice of tiramisu, while Korean dramas are more like a slice of rendang.

How cool is this drama? After finding out about the director and screenwriter, then you understand. The director is Kim Kyu-Tae, whose drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo won many awards. He also directed the Korean drama: It's Ok, This is Love which produced no less awards.

This isn't the first time he's worked with screenwriter, No Hee-Kyung. Drama Korea: Drama: That Winter, The Wind Blows (2013) starring Zo In-Sung and Song Hye-Kyo, not only made many viewers mesmerize, they also won many awards from the 2013 SBS Drama Awards and 2013 (49th) BaekSang Arts Awards

The director and scenario writer are awesome, especially the cast. Scattered with award-winning actors/actresses, this Korean drama: Our Blues is a means of competing in acting. Starting from Lee Byung-Hun, a class A actor who often paces on the silver screen, to senior actresses such as Kim Hye-Ja's grandmother and Ko Du-Shim's grandmother who filled their profiles with strings of awards.

So what's lacking? Almost nothing. The audience is lulled by the beauty of Jeju Island, the blue sea, the magic of sunrise and sunset, kicking music, beautiful cinematography to a neat plot twist, makes me think Korean drama: Our Blues will win the BaekSang Arts Awards, a prestigious award for the South Korean art industry that has held since 1965.

Unfortunately, my hopes did not come true. Or not yet? Because the 2022 (49th) BaekSang Arts Awards takes place in May 2022, while the Korean drama: Our Blues airs April – June 2022.

Regardless, I love this drama. Still haven't moved on from the acting of the players. Like Cha Seung-Won (who has a series of awards too) plays the loser, Choi Han-Su. I can't believe it, he's the arrogant Woo Hwi-Cheol in the Korean drama: A Korean Odyssey.

I also come to understand why Shin Min-A is not side by side with her boyfriend, Kim Woo-Bin (are you still dating or not?) in this drama, because it really doesn't fit the scenario.

Oops, I forgot, there's a weakness in this drama, namely Kim Woo Bin's cute scenes are taken over time, hehehe.??

Shin Min-A, who has mental health problems, fits perfectly side by side with Lee Byung-Hun who plays a sloppy person who hates his mother but loves death for Min Seon-A (Shin Min-A).

Now the scene of Lee Byung-Hun who plays this traveling salesman makes me laugh. As well as shaking heads. Playing the temperamental Lee Dong-Seok, Lee Byung-Hun must act as a grumpy salesman, hater of his mother, as well as a sincere lover of Min Seon-A (Shin Min-A).

Sincere love stories indeed color Korean dramas: Our Blues, between lovers, between brothers and sisters, friends, and friends. Regardless of age, old and young strengthen each other. Sincere love that has been hit by many trials, and is woven back thanks to the threads of love that never disappear. Because the following quote is so true:

Whatever happens, think positively

The typhoon has passed over the sea

Today, we must cheer up

Not Wrong Living Poor

12 solid episodes.

The scenario writer for the Korean drama "Little Women" seemed to be challenged, having to compose a work consisting of a set of colorful puzzles, with different themes and colors.

It takes the ability to place the right bridging so that the audience is comfortable from start to finish.

The poor family puzzle, combined with the friendship puzzle, the journalist world puzzle, the election intrigue puzzle, the disturbed mental health puzzle and other puzzles, must be put together in 12 episodes.

Not easy. But writernim is quite successful. At least the audience isn't confused when watching the Korean drama "Little Women" from start to finish. Although it must be admitted that many holes appear. One of them was when Won Sang-A trapped Oh In-Joo and Jin Hwa-Young in an orchid room. The climax needed for dramatic effect.

The Korean drama "Little Women" is recommended because it is filled with top South Korean actors/actresses. Among them, the antagonist Uhm Ki-Joon has become increasingly popular since playing Joo Dan-Tae in the Korean drama Penthouse (1,2,3).

His role as Park Jae-Sang in the Korean drama "Little Women" was truly unexpected. The audience, who initially resented him, turned pity to see Park Jae-Sang humiliated by his wife, and even told to commit suicide.

Regarding the main cast not being united in the last episode, it doesn't seem to be a problem. In fact, the audience can imagine that one day the two of them will meet.

Sweet, right?
