Not sure about all the hate...
Not sure about all the hate but this is not an awful show as others may have perceived it. I agree that it's not a superb show. There are even lots of comedy scenes that didn't hit the mark. But I like that it showcased the importance of family, and that family is not about blood but about quality time you shared.I also like that the female lead is not feeble-minded on deciding who she wants to spend her life. Even though she has 2 men vying for her attention, she didn't take it for granted and didn't play with their emotions. She didn't go back and forth on both men. She was decisive and I think it's a good trait.
I also like that they added a mix of suspense/detective scenes, as well as a bit of a bromance.

Not meant as a stand-alone movie
Before watching this, you should watch the prequel mini-series to make sense of it. It's really cute, kind of an F4/Boys Over Flowers thing. I watched this first before the prequel and I kept on wishing that the movie would show the reason behind the leads' actions. The movie did show some glimpse of what happened in the prequel but it's not enough. And it's not the film's fault because this is meant to be watched after the series and not as a stand-alone movie. The actors acted on point and it's really cute and funny once you get the to know the whole story (mini-series + movie). The movie in itself also portrays the brotherly love of 2 friends who had grew up together.

Pleasantly Surprised
Initially, I thought that this series will just showcase Kim Min Gyu's idol face. And I was ok with that. But I am pleasantly surprised that this is more to it than that. Though the twist at the end is surprising. I'm not sure if it's in a good way but somehow it made me sad story-wise. Not that the story is bad, but you'll see what I mean when you watch it.I'm glad that this story tackled the stories behind idol groups. I love that they showed the intense training in a light way. I also loved that they showed that being an idol is not just dancing, singing, and acting, That they are persons who have family struggles as well.
Overall, I enjoyed this show more than I think I would. Bonus scenes is Kim Min Gyu's kissing style lol

Ordinary but not Ordinary Legal Drama
I Initially thought that this is a common legal drama and I wouldn't have minded since I love legal drama but I'm pleasantly surprised and real glad that I watched this. It is a common legal drama with twists that I love. I also loved that it didn't have the they-knew-each-other-when-they're-kids which seems common in KDramas. The story was well-written and it will keep you guessing. It might be a little gross for some as they showed some of the tortured dead bodies.
For me, the FL acts ok but it seems she's not fit for crying roles. I like her acting when she's not doing her crying scenes. I specially liked her chemistry with the ML, their bickering is really cute. I also liked that even if this didn't have that much romance. it didn't lack the heartwarming and cute scenes either.
For those who enjoyed Vincenzo, Why Her, and the likes, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too

Unexpectedly Not That Ok
Lots of overacting scenes. It seems they are added for additional comedic effect though I think it's unnecessary and looks forced. There are also lots of scenes that doesn't make sense and makes the actors look dumb if they are applied in real life. I get that sometimes you need to make the lead actors look good but exaggerating it does not make a good outcome overall.Good and entertaining acting by the second leads. For those looking for kissing scenes, this one has lots of it. Aside from that, it has a good storytelling.

A Unique Show With A Zombie Origin
I loved that this show has the zombie origin and has lots of twists that are new to zombie shows. It has a lot of originality and not your typical zombie show. Plus it adds real human emotions which is really possible during a zombie outbreak.I also like that the casts acted really well, with the guidance from their director. And watching the behind the scenes, they had fun shooting even if it takes a lot of time and preparation to shoot a single scene. I like that the storytelling was good, and the camera shots are meticulously done. It's not dizzying or confusing to watch even with the chaos brought about by running or fighting from zombies

Didn't expect to be hooked
I never thought I'd enjoy this show. I wasn't expecting anything and was pleasantly surprised to be hooked around midway or so of the series. I love how the story was introduced / started. Tengteng and Lichen's character are cute from the start. Though the story between Xeng Si and Yong Jie is on a more serious note, it added balance to the show. I love that Xeng Si became the "mentor" of the other two couples to smoothen out their relationship. The BL fangirls are also somewhat funny. Was this review helpful to you?

Not a Batman Spinoff
When I was watching the first few minutes, I thought this was a Batman spinoff and I was ready to drop it but as with other shows, I gave it a chance. Luckily I didn't drop it and it's far from being a Batman spinoff. I am already enjoying it and it's just the second episode. To be honest, I haven't seen much shows from the leads and this was a fresh breather for me to see "new" faces that can act on point. The action is nicely done. The comedy is not forced and not slapstick either. Seeing that there's a romance in the genre makes me wonder how it will pan out.I am looking forward to watching every episode of this series.
