The early part of the series was like meh, the story was somewhat great, feels like i won't continue the whole series at all; but if you really give the series a chance to watch it all you'll find yourself getting hook on how the story goes. Some episode has that cliffhanger especially at Episode 16. Fuck I already need to watch the 2nd season based on what the ending of the first season has been. How the fuck am I late to watch this series? It's been 7 years since this drama ended and I only watched it this 2019? The series was totally great, the first episode was a good start on how the series continues until it progresses throughout. It was mixed emotions for me since there are parts that you'll laugh, cry, and sometimes anger on how those antagonist portrayed their character and how the story flows. Throughout the series you'll solve the mystery on how the girl really died. Finally, the ending! It was a perfect ending. One of the best kdramas that has the best ending so far. This is a story between two worlds. Set at the present time and the other one was the time of Japanese occupation during the later years of Joseon era. A story of reincarnation and tragic past that should be corrected only at the present time. A story of valuing true friendship and true love. The drama was really good from start to finish since every kdrama is unique, it is a plus for a drama that has no falling moments all throughout the episodes. Every episode are worth to watch especially the flashback parts of their life. I was hoping that there are scenes where the final chapter of Chicago typewriter are published at the present time. The drama was like a roller coaster ride. It has its high and lows, to be more specific the drama has different hype all throughout its run. But overall it was a very good drama from start to finish. I was fascinated on how other couples would end but this drama has it's tragic genre which means there will be no happy ending at all. The later part of the series which start from the death of one of the prince until its finale was the most interesting part. In my opinion , some speculated that there will be season 2 but for me this drama already has the best ending to "end" this series. Was this review helpful to you?

This show has it's positive and negative outcomes. Positive
- Has a Cutie Lovestory with cute and funny moments
- Funny cast especially Bong Sun's workmates
- Charismatic characters
- Good ending overall.
Negative
- Didn't feel the vibe for the first few episodes
- Conflict of the series/story was shown at the last four episodes at least. The production should have stated it at the first few episodes of the series.
- The flow of the story has its high and low. They were not consistent on it.
overall would rate it as 8/10 based on my positive comments.

First of all there will be positive and negative feedbacks for this series. First will be the positive side.The story line was great because of it's unexpected plot twist, the cast fits the character the were given, the series also show the viewer to think like a detective which was the best part of it. The series totally amazed me on how the flow of the story goes which also make the viewers excite what will be the next episode be. There will only be one negative comment for me on these series and that would be how the ending ended. Hahahaha. Come on! That was not the type of ending I expected...

- There were no Climax and the Conflict of the story was only one episode. You won't really feel the climax of the drama since conflict was only good for one episode. The story only revolves the lovestory between to protagonist
- Total point of the story was simply summarized at the finale episode.
- Hype of the drama wasn't there if you waited each episodes every weekend. This is only my perspective since I only watch it and wait ever weekend. I think it is much better if you watch this series in a single day or two.
Overall the drama was great and for sure many of the viewers will be having a hard time to move on in this drama.

As soon as I ended watching the finale episode, I'll be writing my preview for the series. Who would have thought that a plot that consist of a lovestory between South and North Koreans would come up in such an amazing drama. The storyline was purely unique since this would be my first time to hear about a drama between two lover from different nations dividing them because of political and military issues. All throughout the series the story was full of surprises, moments such as intense action, drama, comedy, and even cute since between couples are all there. The cast delivers it really well especially for the antagonist once. You know that a drama is really good when the viewers thoughts and perspectives about them makes them hate. The supporting cast like Hyun Bin's troop and the North Korean neighbors also has their own spotlight all throughout the series which makes me happy especially when there are funny moments that are going to happen.
This drama has it all already! From the cast, story, and even its OST. Surely will gonna miss the gang! I don't even know if I should rewatch it because I'm sure that it will bring back the tears especially on the finale episode!! It has a bittersweet ending tbh!! OVERALL 10/10 ONE OF THE BEST KDRAMA EVER!

The series has the same story flow of "You who came from the stars" if you already watched the said series and liked it, it may turn up that you'll also going to love this one. As a new Kdrama lover, this plot may be unique for me since it involves mysterious beings being involve in a lovestory. I like how the story progresses which some of the reviews has said that the drama progress really slow. The first half of the series was all about comedy and being cute while the second half of the series turned into a tearjerker and intense which I really love. Aside from the main characters the supporting roles delivered such a wonderful effect for the drama. I would rate 10/10 when it comes to its music because it has that chill vibe. Overall 10/10!!

It was a one hell of a roller coaster ride for this series. There are no dull episodes that will not make you laugh. As long as there will be Lee Yi Kyung, it will gonna be a perfect sitcom drama. I know Season 1 and Season 2 are different but i was really hoping that Dong Goo and Yoon Ah story will still continue SAME as Doo Shik and Soo Ah love story would developed. There were no clear lines that those two were dating at all. Hahaha. So far for the ending it was not bad and also not that good for me but so far I would rate this series 9.5/10 for the joy and the laugh that the series has gave me. Was this review helpful to you?

A Generic Kdrama Genre of Reincarnation
Let's just get straight to point.Every episodes are worth to watch to be honest. More likely the first 2-4 episodes were very good but in the middle part of the series the consistency of the hype was gone. It's just like a normal episode and nothing new. The main story on how the past and future connects was really predictable which makes me forced to finish the drama atleast until the end. Overall all it was a good drama but the thing is it is just another generic reincarnation-fantasy korean drama which is you'll going to predict the ending.

After watching Reply 1988, the series was a complete shot through the heart. It is a type of family drama that are full of Korean family culture and values, also how does a common Korean family lives. The theme was nostalgic indeed since it was portrait way back in 80's and 90's. A story of chances, especially on how you should tell your true feelings to the one who you really love. Wasted chances should not be happened if you say and confess it soon enough. It is not how fate tells your love story but on how you react and do it.The story was a little bit dull and boring at first but when you watch the rest of the episodes it becomes more interesting and enjoy to watch. There are a lot of times that this drama made me cry, laugh and excite especially on its romantic scenes. The ending part was a little bit short for me since the female protagonist didn't show how she ended up in a wedding with one of her best friends, but overall the ending was too good which really made me cry.

After 6 years since the last episode aired, I came up to watch this series for too long since most of the people who recommend to watch kdrama will tell you to try to watch this drama. The first episode was totally great, you'll already have the interest to watch all the episodes. I'm really a big fan of romcom kdramas so I was totally happy that there were cute and funny moments on it. One of the best things about this series was the scenes before every episodes end. It is really unique and funny on how it was connected from the scenes earlier from that episode. Lastly the ending. I was left out a little bit hanging about the ending especially during the last scene when the male protagonist vanished, i felt like it is still wasn't enough to end that kind of drama. Overall a 9.5/10 rating, might re watch because of the funny scenes tho. Was this review helpful to you?
