A HIDDEN GEM: An underrated film you can’t miss!
I came across this movie when searching for a comedic Korean movies to watch. I read good reviews about it so I decided to give it a watch. And I’m not disappointed at all, it was great! The acting was great, it was real, it seemed so real. The actors and actresses portrayed their role so effortlessly perfect, especially *spoiler* Lee KwangSoo playing as the antagonist of the story. It’s hard to hate him since I’m used to his goofiness on Running Man. The cameos were super duper great, I just loved it how Nichkhun acted on the credits and some comedians I knew.
The story was great - a complicated family finally unite themselves to avenge their parents’ unfair death. The plot twists were also super unpredictable! So I recommend you to not miss this great film. But, as a disclaimer: No, this is not a comedic movie that could make you laugh out loud. I don’t think I’ve been laughing for the past two hours. But, on the other hand, it could make you tear up seeing how the family exchange “I love you”s in the end.
Overall, a 9/10 ⭐️ Looooved it!

This was my first Thai movie I watched and I won’t say that I didn’t enjoy it. I enjoyed it, I laughed, and also shed a little tear. I’ve read many reviews saying that it was sad, but I didn’t find myself crying in the sad scenes. In fact, I cried when Nam reunited with her forever best friends.I had to admit that the comedic parts were funny, especially the teacher. But the storyline was pretty much cliche for me, the cinematography was also quite dramatic, which kinda bothered me (especially in the last scene). I see the resemblance in the pool scene with Our Times (my all time favorite romance movie) but what differs is that I don’t find myself crying in that scene.
So, if you’re desperately searching for a rom-com, I would probably recommend this for you. An 8/10 ⭐️

If you’re searching for a light rom-com, this is definitely not for you!
The story of the movie started off simple, a girl with a hearing-loss in her left ear had a crush on the popular basketball player at school. But things get complicated after that, she has a kind heart and she’s willing to risk her life to save others. The story gets twisty in the middle, much more complicated than before. The story was sad and dark, nothing comedic, nothing sweet in the middle, but I was interested in what’s coming next. That was why I loved this movie. I wasn’t bored at all even though I’m a sucker for rom-coms.
The acting was so real, it’s not too much - it’s perfect. The music was also very touching. I find it sweet how Zhang Yang purposely whispered in Li Er’s left ear and she immediately understood, because ‘the left ear is closest to the heart, you’ll immediately understand even though you can’t hear.’
Overall, a 9/10 ⭐️ Recommended for anyone who’s watching for a sad-but-happy-ending romantic movie without the need to tear up hehe!

To start off, this story is totally unpredictable. You’ll spend 2 hours watching this surprised with whatever comes next. Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi were unsurprisingly excellent, and the child actors did excellently too! They portrayed a deaf-mute kid so well! Bravoo! The music was also tense, and it fits so well with the movie, when it gets a little sad, the music follows. The music was well picked. On the other hand, the only thing that bothers me is how the ending wasn’t really happy, since the corrupt prosecutors and lawyer, the evil principal and their wives didn’t get a taste of his own medicine. But overall, it was a really nice movie, totally recommended! A 9.5/10 ⭐️

FAMILY DRAMA WITH A HINT OF MYSTERY AND A LOAD OF COMEDY!
At first, I knew this drama would be the lighter version of Hotel Del Luna. I enjoyed reincarnation stories, but to be honest I’m not a really big fan of it. I picked this drama randomly, or maybe because I need something funny and light because school is starting. But, turns out, I didn’t regret it one bit!The story was refreshing and heartwarming, it wasn’t new, but it’s interesting how they add stories about how important family is, and also how to deal with mental ilnesses. The story gets a little slow paced on the middle, but it gets better again at the 9th episode when the real conflict happens.
The actors and actresses were spot-on! Never doubted on Hwang Jung Eum because she is naturally born funny! Yook Sung Jae and Choi Won Young are now officially in my favorite actor list! I’m sure everyone watching this would feel warm and thrilled everytime the trio comes up just like I do! The OSTs were also SUPERB!
Overall, a 9/10. I hope they reunite on another project! *fingers crossed* ⭐️

I knew from the very first time this drama would be a tearful-kind of drama, so I kept on avoiding watching this drama so I wouldn’t cry (since I’m such a crybaby ^^) But since my mom couldn’t stop nagging about the drama, so I watched it together with her. AND YES, I CRIED MY EYES OUT :’(I was able to hold in my tears on the first ten episodes, but couldn’t as soon as everybody knew Yu-ri was going to leave them again ㅠㅠ I’m bawling... This drama truly is inspiring and motivating, this drama taught me a lot of things: one, to never be selfish; two, to always cherish moments with your loved ones because you don’t know when would be the last time you see them; three, to always be grateful in life.
Their acting was spot on! The writers also did well, as well as the production team. Kudos to this wonderful and heartwarming drama. I’ll just pretend I didn’t see the negative feedbacks on this drama, because this drama was truly the most heartwarming, most inspiring, and most beautiful I’ve seen ❤️
9.5/10!⭐️

This story inspires me to never give up on anything or anyone you love. How Dong Gu enjoys taking care of Se Ha despite all the hassles and his disability. Something came onto my head while watching the movie: Some may say that no friend could love you more than they love themselves, but some could prove it wrong. This story proves to me that some friend could be as loving as your own family, and this inspires me most.
For reminders, prepare tissues when you reach the endings... Overall, 10000/10 ⭐️

It started off fresh with all the bright colored things around, but from the middle til the end of the movie, it shows us how life couldn’t always be sunshines and rainbows. This could be those movies that could make someone else realize how they should not differentiate others just by their physical or mental appearance. Because it turns out everybody is special in their own ways.
Kudos to all the directors, writers, actors and actresses, especially to Kim Hyang Gi and Jung Woo Sung! 100000/10 ⭐️

To begin with, I have to say this movie is one of the most interesting movies to watch! Sometimes, it’s quite easy for me to predict the ending to a story even though it may be a plot twist, but surprisingly, this movie is super unpredictable. The actors and actresses was superb! But I find some storyline that’s quite absurd: like how Lee Doo Seok kept up with all the hate that he had to receive from everyone, how he is just a bait for the killer and how he’s a “renewed self” with plastic surgery.
But overall, the whole movie is a 9/10 for me. Great job!

I think it’s a coincidence that I met Yum Hye Ran for the second time now after watching ‘Innocent Witness’ and I think her acting was quite on point. Song Sac was also in the movie and I met him again after watching ‘The Fiery Priest’. One aspect that I think could’ve been better for this movie is that maybe they could’ve lessen the curse words.

I was too quick to judge that ‘Eulachacha Waikiki 2’ won’t be as good as the first season. Well, I was completely wrong. It may be boring for the first 4-6 episodes, but the mid-episodes until the last one didn’t disappoint me a bit! Surely, the storyline is a little bit similar to the first season, but it actually reminded me of my good impressions when watching the first season. You’re totally wrong if you think this drama is completely comedy and completely boring and useless to watch, this drama taught me important life lessons despite all the comedy shown. This drama made me cry both happy tears and sad tears and also taught me how important friendship is. OVERALL, EXCELLENT DRAMA! Was this review helpful to you?
When space-tech movies like GotG, Star Wars and Elysium meets heartwarming movie like Pawn...
Space Sweepers is new. Have you ever seen any Korean movies with a whole new level of CGI and uses 75% Americans as the casts? Nope. Or at least I never did. To be honest, the storyline isn’t new. You get to see a lot of blasting fires and bombs in space, an evil scientist, and the typical unbeatable team. If you’re a fan of Star Wars or Guardians of the Galaxy, this storyline may be super predictable (my feeling throughout the film lol), however I deeply appreciate how the directors and producers have the courage to try out new genre for Korean films. That’s practically why I gave the story rating high.I’ve always enjoyed Jin Seon Kyu’s acting. Seeing him play as a macho man with a soft heart will always be memorable for me. On the other hand, this was my first time watching Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri’s works. I’ve known them since loooong ago, but this was my first time watching them. Didn’t disappoint. Top notch acting. Kim Tae Ri’s character left a great impression, super badass. Loooved Yoo Hae Jin, his voice is super obvious hahaha, adding a robot character is an awesome decision. And the little kid, she did well in the acting. Thumbs up thumbs up!
What made me love this movie even more is because I get to feel the element of surprise (which I don’t usually get when watching new movies because of the spoilers everywhere). I was clueless about the storyline, clueless about the cameos, almost clueless about everything except for the main casts. So, if you’re going to watch this movie, make sure you don’t get any spoilers or else this movie would be less exciting for you. Don’t even open the film page on MDL, even the cast list before watching!!!!
Overall, a great movie! Totally recommend if you’re searching for something new, and something entertaining. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never even put this drama on my watchlist, but I wanted to watch something that I could finish in just one day, so I decided to give this a try. The storyline was odd, it was unique, it wasn’t that great but it wasn’t bad at all. The CGI effects were superb, how they portrayed the monsters and the sparkles and all the jellies wowed me. However, there are some parts of the story that was still left unanswered until the end, like what about Mackenzie, the female teacher, Mr. Hong’s childhood friend, or Eun Young’s “stepmom”? The ending was rather fast and unclear, but it’s not bad.
The acting was great, Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk did a really great job and the students were also awesome! The music, was also very great for me, there are soft piano tunes of “7 Princess - Love Song” which was my favorite!
To be honest, this drama isn’t really that good for me. It took 5 whole episodes for me to get hooked on finally. I loved Episode 5, it was really heartwarming and sweet, but the ending disappointed me again. Overall, a 7/10 ⭐️

When I first saw the movie title, I was immediately curious. I went to check what the movie is about and I liked it so I watched it. To be honest 3/4 of the movie is great and is enjoyable to watch. But sadly, I didn’t get the whole point of the movie because everyone has their own problem and in the end still has no solution. The only happy ending was only Yoo Hae Jin’s and I’m still not really satisfied. The whole movie was just full of climax but didn’t come up with the anti climax for me. The ending seems very forced with all the “make-up after the fight” but still with all the cheating.
Overall, a 6.5/10 ⭐️

I was curious the other day because many celebrities came to watch the movie and I thought I should also give it a watch.
YOONA and Jo Jung Suk’s acting was also spot on! ⭐️ I DON’T REGRET WATCHING THIS MOVIE AT ALL! Definitely a must watch!
