too calm

I swear Joon Young takes Ji Ho meeting with Yeon Hee too calmly. I would have picked up something and smashed the window in. Then I would have made him wish he had never met me.

hate/love

Shunji has really turned into a crazy SOB!!! What the heck??? I went from loving him to hating him.

I feel so sorry for Kang To now. I went from totally hating him to totally loving him. Not that I ever hated Joo Won. He is a fantastic actor!!!

Hong Joo is smart and she has Mok Dan in the palm of her hand at this point. Let?s hope that no one tells Mok Dan their plan and that even if they do that she isn't stupid enough to tell a total stranger. If she does, then I'm afraid that she may be the cause of total chaos.

I love Su Ji Sub, but this is getting a little tiresome

Cho In saves Choi Chil Soo and is repaid with a note from Chil Soo saying that he will repay him when he sees Young Ji. Next we see Choi Chil Soo with Seon Woo.

Cho In goes to the ethics board and proves that Kim Kyeon Ju was not responsible for taking narcotics, but was framed. Hopefully that will move her back to the hospital where Cho In will have another ally.

Cho In talks to Director Oh and offers him a deal?he will let it all go if the Director tells him who is behind his kidnapping and attempted murder. Director Oh goes to Seon Woo and tells him about the conversation, but says that if Seon Woo will purchase stocks, then he will just keep all the information to himself. Seon Woo agrees and then talks to Choi to have Director Oh killed. LOL It is almost too much.

Young Ji shows up at the hospital to see Cho In and he takes her for an interview to work in the hospital. Cho In also convinces her to stay near him in the dorms so that he can watch over her.

Choi is a bungling idiot and I have no clue as to why anyone would hire him to do any job much less one as important as killing. Director Oh gets away and calls Cho In and tells him about Choi. Cho In calls Choi and sets up a meeting. Choi then calls Seon Woo and tells him and Seon Woo goes to get Choi Chil Soo who has already offered to kill Cho In. Now if that isn?t a bunch of madness, then I don?t know what is.

It ends with Choi telling Cho In that the person that wanted him dead after he came back from Korea was Seon Woo.

too sad

Seon Woo watches these wonderful, sweet videos that Cho In made for him while he was gone for those 7 years. He cries, but I'm not sure why...seems like he was glad that Cho In was dead.

Cho In is interrogated by the NIS.

Young Ji tells Seon Woo the truth about her relationship with Cho In and asks him to find who was behind his death.

I love the look on Seon Woo?s face when he hears the information that Cho In has escaped and may be in South Korea. LOL Little does he know.

It totally broke my heart to watch Young Ji cry over Kwang Chul. She says that Kwang Chul is her cousin and they release her. Seo Yeon is visiting Cho In?s ?ashes? shile he and Young Ji place Kwang Chul?s ashes in their resting place.

slow but steady

We start this episode with Seo Yeon getting a call to pick up Cho In's found belongings and she and Seon Woo go to look for him. btw...I also didn't know that China had places that were like Venice.

Seon Woo goes back to open the NMC and Seo Yeon stays in China to look for Cho In. I don't know how much time has passed, but Cho In is walking in the desert with some people and in some kind of gun battle. Of course, he has no memory. I think the leader of this group is Young Ji's brother, Kwang Chul.

Young Ji is selling food on the street and is being hunted by the North Koreans. Seems like her brother is high up in communist military or gang and they are looking for him before he goes to South Korea or the US.

As justice would have it Seon Woo is apparently having medical problems of his own. Sadly Seo Yeon has worn herself out looking for Cho In and collapses. One of the members of Kwang Chul?s group is also shot. Seon Woo works on Seo Yeon simultaneously as Cho In works on a member of the gang.

It ends with the Kwang Chul and Cho In getting set up.

shot in the head

So we start this off with Cho In doing surgery on Young Ji because she doesn't want to go to the hospital. It is pretty unrealistic. Infection would be sure to set in in my opinion, but it's just a drama...so, I guess I shouldn't pick it apart.

Back at the hospital where the letter from President Lee has everyone up in arms, Seon Woo has scheduled his father's surgery.

Young Ji gets a call from the boss thug and I get the impression that she is an escapee from North Korea and the passports she is trying to get is for her family to go to South Korea. She is threatened and tells them where Cho In is going, but she leaves to help Cho In and is unrealistcaly running around after surgery. BTW...why are people in Korean Dramas always ripping out their IVs. I have been in the hospital and the last thing I would do is rip out an IV. She finds Cho In and they go to Young Ji's house to get his passport and go their seperate ways.

The thugs then find Cho In and kidnap him. Seon Woo's decision to do surgery on his father promts Director Oh to have Cho In killed. The thugs drive out into the desert (I really didn't know China had a desert like that) to kill him. Why am I always watching movies where So Ji Sub gets shot in the head??? If he turns into a bada$$ like he did in the other drama, then it is well worth it. To give Seon Woo's mother some credit she is totally upset that Dirctor Oh had Cho In killed.

We end with Seon Woo's surgery on President Lee that seems to have worked for the most part and Cho In has been found.

Young Ji realizes that Cho In isn't a scam artist.

Well, this is going really slow. I'm 20 minutes in and the only new information I have is that Young Ji is working hard to get passports for her entire family.

Soe Yeon has a reporter friend, Lee Young Min who interviews the patient that Seon Woo operated on. Apparently when he removed the tumor in her brain, he took away her sense of taste. The patient is a chef so this isn't good. She also gives him information that shows that the patient was checked out in a hospital in America and that it looks suspicious that he was on the same flight as the patient. The news has been huge on his in flight life saving procedures that got her to the hospital for an operation. This information would make it look like they planned it for the attention. Seon Woo seems not to have a clue. He confronts his mother and no surprise she planned it. He isn't happy.

Meanwhile Cho In is watching the procedure in China that Seon Woo wants to use on their father. For some reason we have to watch Young Ji use the bathroom. Why??? blah!!!

Aaahhh...so Cho In isn't even blood related to Seon Woo. His parents were killed and the President took him in as a son.

Seon Woo goes to talk to Seo Yeon and I think she was in love with him but he left to go to America and really hurt her and that is why she moved on to Cho In. I'm not sure at this point if she is truely ove Seon Woo.

Cho In and Young Ji reach their destination in the mountains and she is astonished to see that he is surrounded by children and giving aid to the people there. I will give this episode a 10 just because So Ji Sub is so cute with the children!!!

Back in Korea a message from President Lee asking everyone to please not give up on the Emergancy Medical Center is sent to all the board members.

Young Ji who has had stomach issues has some pain while they are in the mountains and Cho In and he finds that her condition is way worse than constiption. For some unexplained reason...Young Ji doesn't want to go to the hospital and that is how we end this episode.

brothers that have a love/hate relationship

What is with me watching dramas with gross brain surgeries today? I started watching Time Slip Dr. Jin today and picked this drama as my old drama to watch in between the new dramas I watch without knowing that I would have to endure more brain surgery.

This episode starts with a woman ill on a plane and she is saved by Seon Woo/Hyun Joon who is on the flight from America. We see Cho In/Ji Sub riding a motorcycle with a kid in front of him. At the hospital Young Ji/Ji Min is handling the ER. Cho In brings a panhandler kid into the ER to be treated and says he will pay for it. From the conversation it is obvious that this isn't the first time he has done something like that. Yougn Ji needs a surgeon for a patient but isn't sure Cho In can do it because he has drank a little.

PAUSE EVERYTHING...So Ji Sub is naked sobering up. That is right...I wrote naked!!! Even if this intire drama sucks, it is worth the watch for that alone. I'm giving this episode a 10 for that alone.

We then see Seon Woo in the middle of brain surgery while being watched by other doctors, nurses, and journalists from an observation room. Then Cho In begins the same surgery on a man in the next operating room. Apparently he has some complications but everything works out.

Seon Woo who has been away for 7 years pays his respects to his father who is in a hospital bed unconscience with brain tumors. Then the brothers finally talk to each other and embrace. They both go to see their father. I think that Cho In must be illegitimate, because when Seon Woo's mother walks in on them she is mean to Cho In then her conversation with Seon Woo implies that Cho In is the father's favorite.

The next day at the hospital while the brothers are checkin on patients they have a conversation that brings me to believe that they don't agree on surgical procedures.

Seo Yeon who is a friend of the brothers since childhood when she was sick with heart problems has a concert and invites the brothers to it. I guess that Seon Woo was in love with her but in his absence she had fallen for Cho In. She tells Cho In that she loves him at the start of her concert and Seon Woo looks devistated. Seon Yeon and Cho In exchange rings and a kiss. Too sweet!!!

Then we are back to the hospital where there is a board meeting. From what I can tell Seon Woo's mom wants to build a Neuro Medical Center while the people against her want to build an Emergancy Medical Center. It seems there father was set on saving lives regardless of money but their mother is looking at the bottom line.

The brothers have a conversation on how to operate on their father and disagree on the method. Seon Woo ends up sending Cho In to China to see the procedure done, but I think it is really just to get him out of his way while they contol the board meeting.

In China Young Ji who works as a tour guide for Koreans is asked by some thugs hired by Seon Woo's mother to watch Cho In.

It ends with Young Ji and Cho In meeting at the airport.

confession

Jae Hyuk's father is just abusive and his mother is a total b!atch!!! It is no wonder he acts the way he does.

Young Gul finally gives Ga Young the necklace and she acts like it is nothing and doesn't remember the significance of it.

I don't understand why Young Gul looks at Ga Young like it is her fault when Jae Hyuk confesses his love to her. Ga Young has pretty much been doing everything Young Gul asks of her.

Weird drama.

FINALLY!!!

I would like to say THANK YOU to the director, Lee Myung Woo, who directed an actual passionate kissing seen between Ga Young and Young Gul.

I almost feel sorry for Jae Hyuk...almost

Anna is just sad.

WOW...By the end of this I'm like what the heck is Ga Young doing now??? She got what she wanted and now she is leaving Young Gul hanging.

still watching

AH...So Fashion King was actually Young Gul's idea. I don't know what he is up to, but it would be great if he took Ga Young's factory back from that witch of a woman. Poor Anna, when will she realize that Young Gul is in love with Ga Young and that Jae Hyuk is in love with himself?

It is really weird that I don't like the characters in this drama at all, but I'm still watching it. I don't know if Shin Se Kyung's acting is bad or if the character that she is playing is so bad that it comes across as her not being able to act. The male actors are good at portraying some piss poor men. Young Gul needs to get his act together!!!

the best yet...

I love tht Ga Young kissed Young Gul. She is the only one honest about her feelings. I actually feel sorry for Anna, because all her dreams are coming crashing down. Jae Hyuk is either a real jerk or so emotionally stunted (and who wouldn't be with those parents) that he can't figure it out for himself. I get Young Gul, but I still think he made a big mistake spending the night with Anna. We will see, but this has just got interesting!!!

FINALLY

I'm so excited about the kiss!!! I hope Joon Young and Do Yoon get together and that she forgets Jae Ha, but it probably won't happen that way. This drama does get better and it is starting to grow on me.
