Wasted opportunities on the last parts

It started out good, went downhill from episode 30. 2nd and 3rd FL and ML has a nice ending with personal issues solved but the 1st Couple ending up having both unresolved mental issues is just wrong. Its not a beautiful lie, just mental health problems and trauma being passed fron one person to another. even the female doctor and the Ren Siqi have resolved their issues through the passing of their dog.
