Reviews
classical lakorn tropes done by the book
If you feel like watching a nice classical typical lakorn, this is it! It has got almost everything you should expect from this genre: hidden identity, hate to love, revenge, bickering couple, guns shooting, clingy women, childhood friendship, self-made men, a lot of screaming and verbal abuse, incredible twists etc. The ML can throw a punch and the FL isn't dumb. The romance is quite lacking, there are NO kissing scenes, no sexual tension, hardly some hugs towards the end, but a lot of fighting instead. The film quality is pretty bad, somehow blurry, still the fashion and interiors are surprisingly modern.
But WHYYY oh WHY do they have to make the protagonists orphan in so many dramas? And i mean not just thai dramas! So often either one parent or both are missing, and there comes the kind-hearted "auntie" or "grandma" that raises the ML or FL... What makes parents look so unfit for dramas? I honestly don't get it.
The action and cast are quite easy on the eyes, despite the unnecessary side plots and characters.
Maybe i could rewatch some scenes when my brain needs a break.
