When Ji So’s father goes bankrupt, their family loses their house and they don't have a place to live. One day, the little girl sees a flyer offering a reward of $500 for a missing dog. The movie is very fast paced, it gets straight to the point and it never gets boring. I was glued to the screen the whole time and never felt the urge to skip any scenes. It was very well-directed and it has an unique storyline. I didn't expect to almost cry because of a movie called ''How to Steal a Dog''. The emotions were done right and I absolutely loved the mother and her two kids.
The acting is what made the movie such a nice experience. Lee Re is extremely talented and I can see her having a successful career in the future. The same goes for Lee Ji Won and my baby Hong Eun Taek who's my favourite child actor ever! Kang Hye Jung was also amazing.
Overall, a very enjoyable movie! I'm usually into thrillers when it comes to movies, but once in a while I decide to watch something more light and ''How to Steal a Dog'' was a very good pick and I recommend it to everyone.
