A sleek action thriller starring superstars Hyde, Gackt, and Wang Lee Hom, and set in the near future in a fictional Asian city called Maleppa. A hotbed of crime and drugs, the city is the home to Sho and his gang of desperate criminal associates. Into this group comes Kei, a pale, vampirish young man who has deep ties to Sho. Kei joins the group, which now also includes Son and his younger sister Yi Che, until a grisly event at once reaffirms the bond between Kei and Sho, but also forces Kei to once again flee Maleppa. Years pass and allegiances are switched, but the worlds of Kei and Sho are on course for one last collision.

Subaru and her twin brother Kazuma dream of becoming ballet dancers, but their father discourages their passion. After Kazuma's death from a hereditary illness, dancing becomes Subaru's only happiness, and she yearns to lose herself in dance. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she runs into cabaret owner Isuzu, who recognizes Subaru's talent and trains her in her nightspot.
However, to become a professional ballerina, Subaru has to overcome harsher challenges than merely satisfy the cabaret drunkards. Spurred on by her rivalling dance companions, Subaru enters an international dance competition to vie for recognition and a scholarship to any top ballet company in the world.
