Romance, Suspense, Action with a Fantabulous Story ❤️❣️
Just loved it! It is fast paced throughout the drama. Omg! Ji Chang-Wook ❤️❤️❤️ Action is his forte, can just see that.... but man his smile, his eyes and he is just so handsome... can be drooling over him throughout. The variation he brings between two characters shows he can pull-off both the roles so well. The chemistry between the main leads is daebak! Also, the trio, Healer, Chae yeong-sin and Kim Mun-ho were good together... liked Ms. Jo (hacker Ajumma) too.Coming to the plot, what an intriguing plot I must say. It has Romance, Suspense and Action with a fantabulous story. Finding romance in action dramas are a bit difficult but this one focuses on romance and the story, and has very few action sequences which I liked. Just that..last episode was a bit rushed..it could have had atleast one episode more so that we could enjoy more of healer. Nevertheless, the story on the whole is worth a watch.

Some nice entertainment after a hard day's work? There you go, friends!
A nice series, exciting, thankfully without love triangle, with many quite funny little incidents. The beginning was perhaps a little bit boring.Good action, good pace in each episode, only the rushed ending was a bit over the top. Individually, there were hardly any crooks to catch, despite a lot of clues/evidence, but all the bad guys at once? And the whole thing with the help of an intellectual low-water mark of a police officer, who knew only one suspect for 5 years: Healer!
But anyway: Happy ending, what more could you want, when the bad guys are after all of us!
PS.: Last but not least: Good actors.

Good but not amazing
Let me start by saying that it took me almost a whole year to finish this series. I honestly thought I wasn’t gonna finish it.I love Ji Chang Wook, he’s on of my favorite actors which is why I was looking forward to this drama.
I’ll list the things that I loved before getting into the negatives.
I loved the actors, whether it’s the main ones or the supporting roles. They all did an amazing job and they fit their role extremely well.
The chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Park Minyoung is amazing. I have yet to see her not have chemistry with the actor she plays with, seriously.
Now, what I didn’t like. I didn’t like how long and very redundant it was in the beginning. Like I said, it took me nearly a year to finish this series and to watch 5 episodes.
The drama started to get good only on episode 10 and for a drama with that many episodes as 20 it’s way too long to be honest. It should’ve gotten to the point a lot quicker and have much less filler episodes.
I didn’t like how confusing it got sometimes with the case about the farmers and about the elder and the older brother.
Lastly I didn’t like how so many questions got unanswered. I would’ve loved to see a real interaction of Young Shin with her mom knowing that her daughter is alive after all these years, we never got that.
I would’ve also loved to see why the older brother did what he did and how he was blackmailed more in detail.
We also don’t get to see how the bad guys got what they deserved, we only saw that they got denounced publicly and the ones at the airport got arrested but we should’ve seen them in jail or something, I don’t know I just personally wasn’t satisfied with just the news coverage.
That’s it for my rambling.
To end it, overall although it might look like I didn’t like this drama I enjoyed it quite a lot which is why I gave it an overall of 8.

Perfection
My favorite Kdrama ever. I'll never get over it and I'll probably rewatch (the scenes between the ML and FL) several times a year.Full disclosure: I watch Kdramas for the romance, and the romance here is TOP NOTCH. The background story for this one is fine. It makes sense and as an action plot device is pretty good. Most of the time, the background story helped add tension to the romance, so I only fast-forwarded through the action plot scenes during the last 4 episodes when I finally got tired of them and felt like they weren't adding to the romance. (Usually, I'm fast-forwarding through the non-romance scenes starting with episode 3).

An Absolute Masterpiece
This is a stunning Drama. Everythng about it is perfect. The Music is inspirational. Wish I could find out who actually sings Eternal Love, I have watched this so many times and never get tired of it. The Male Lead is incredible. His Female lead also does a wonderful job. Their chemistry is excelent. This drama has amazing energy. The story is captivating and the acting all round is top class. The action is superb. I know I am using many suoerlatives but the drama so deserves it. No wonder the Male lead had risen so high. He is a fabulous totally believable actor. I loved this so much. The Music is briliantly chosen and performed. Well done the whole cast. I sincerely hope this Drama won several aawards. Incredible. Was this review helpful to you?

cute, angsty, adorable
This will go down in history as one of my all-time favorites. I regret not watching this sooner. This may not have been my ji Chang Wook awakening, but I love him all the more for it. He is best boyfriend material.
I have to admit: it does take a second to get used to the old style of filming, but I LOVED IT. I wasn’t sure about it at first, BUT IT IS SO GOOD. THIS IS 100% A CLASSIC.
The romance was just everything. It was so good, and I love the Superman hidden identity of Healer. He’s so charismatic. It was just SO GOOD. I got addicted to the OST, and it brings an onslaught of feelings everytime I hear it.
“ITS A BEAUTIFUL FEELING ~”
I will be rewatching this drama every December because it was just so good. It was kind of(?) a slow burn, but that made the angst feel so much more angsty.
Park Min Young was absolutely adorable in this drama. I’ve only been used to her as a kept-together woman, but she was so cute in this. Her acting is so versatile, and I loved her in this. ONE THING THOUGH. They did her bad with the haircut in the second half. Her hair at the beginning was perfect, but they cut it too short later. It’s okay though, because she still rocks it.
Overall, I will keep this drama in my heart as a classic.

Healer, a drama that won my heart
Healer is an excellent drama and one that gives me the most emotion throughout the drama. With a little air of the drama City Hunter, the plot is very well developed with the mixes of romances, family affairs, betrayals and especially action. The latter is also remarkable since the fight scenes are really epic and even memorable. It is also thanks to the latter that I was fully into the drama. The events then follow one another quite quickly.Concerning the characters, the duo Jeong Hu/Healer and Yeong Sin, played by Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young, is one of the biggest highlights of the drama. The actor Ji Chang Wook is SENSATIONAL and he is one of the big favorites as an actor and in the drama! As for Park Min Young, she confirms that she is still an excellent actress! Otherwise, I also got attached to the other character, namely Mun Hon (Yu Ji Tae). In terms of the OST, it perfectly matches the atmosphere of the drama. Everything you need to definitely love it!

The emperor is naked
All the reviews praised this drama as 10/10 best thing ever, and with netflix taking it down in a couple of weeks, "Healer" arose interest from fans both old and new.But is it worth the hype? Well, after seeing 5 episodes, I'm afraid to say....no, not really.
But first thing first. I realize I'm not a target audience. I expected a thriller with some love story, but instead I got love story with lots of melodrama and some thriller. Very little action.
The mc is batman-like hypercompetent gary stu, supported by super-hacker who can just hack anything in 3 seconds if she just looks at it through mc's magic super high tech glasses. No one must know his identity, which doesn't stop him from enlisting at news agency where he pretends to be a clumsy, stuttering dumbass in character development as old as Clark Kent.
There he falls in love with a girl he was originally paid to stalk. However, little does he know they are actually amnesiac childhood friends with childhood promise, and every single villain and side character they will encounter from now on is somehow connected to their past!
Oh did I mention that the first time they met in person the bus they were driving stopped too fast, and the female mc conveniently fell in Healer's embrace? Perhaps I also should mention that he's so hyper-competent at combat he can defeat multiple armed thugs at once, and parkour fast enough to catch up with a car. Oh, and of course, everyone takes notice of how handsome he is....
In other words, the story is full of tropes and cliches. It's fairly well-executed, as far as acting and production values and direction are concerned, at least based on these 5 episodes I've seen so far. But it's just....boring and predictable.
The FL is pretty cute, but so far, she's just been a clueless damsel in distress. Any sign of competence shown in the first episode went poof, she can't even notice she's being stalked by multiple people at the time.
And don't get me started on melodrama. I had to turn episode 5 off when FL's wheelchair-bound mother got the worst acted epilepsy attack I've seen in years just when the name of her amnesiac missing daughter was mentioned.

A Kdrama superhero tale lacking in budget, acting and originality.
I was hesitant to watch Healer because I always check the currently watching and dropped ratings for older dramas to get a feel for how well they've aged and it has some polarizing numbers: 7.85/10 for current and 5.25/10 for dropped. But I figured I'd give a shot because of its popularity. It wasn't a total bust I wasn't wowed either. There's a good story in here somewhere but it feels too much like a tropey Kdrama knockoff of a Marvel franchise: OP parkour secret super hero ML and quirky cutesy sidekick FL team up to take down a cabal of corrupt old rich dudes involved in a far fetched conspiracy. I grew up with that comic book format and this brought nothing new to the table for me except the historical context, which I was more interested in than the romance.
Eventually I dropped it because even positive reviews agree the ending is haphazard and unsatisfying and 20 episodes is way too much time to spend for that kind of pay off.

Nauseating and cringy
I had high expectations about this show since reviews are glowing, but it's really weak.I liked main actors too, they are alright. Plot through 5 episodes I watched is nothing special, kinda cliche, but not worst too.
But let me tell you about how awful production on this.
1) Stylistically it's really laughably corny at times, with hacker aestetic from late 90s early 00s which feels just lazy and outdated even for 2014, let alone for 2022. It's really hasn't aged very well.
2) Action scenes are funny, it's like worst of CW shows (Arrow, Flash etc). Lack of creativity and cringy editing.
3) Overall editing is atrocious, camera always jumps, even in casual scenes. There was a classic scene with work get together at a bar. And they filmed convo at the table with jump cuts on every line said.
Editing was a breaking straw for me and I dropped it on ep.5

The finale was so rushed I didn't feel they had any closure. I was waiting for more to happen, for people to get punished and actually see their punishment, for something more. Anything that would change my opinion of the show. Nothing of the sort happened, wished I had passed on this show early.
