my first ever review..
i gotta say this drama is one of the best drama in 2015.
i watched it the first ep for the first time and i dropped it (oops my mistake's only watched the first 15min, so i hope you guys learn from my mistake).
but thanks to healer's fans i rewatch these series, and i'm glad i didn't miss this wonderful drama.
i've never been a fan of action or spy drama, but this one made me addicted.

Story :
the whole story was packed beautifully from beginning til ep19, the only pity was the ending...
of course i'm satisfied with all happy ending, but in my opinion it's kinda bit rushed.
i have some questions in my head after watching the ending.
well that's the only reason i give 9.5 for the story.

Acting / cast :
cast is one of the reason this drama hits daebak.
i'm super proud with all these cast, their acting were superb. I've been a fan of JCW since five fingers. Not only hot, he's also one of a great actor, so it's pretty sad he wasn't popular (back then in five fingers), but i'm happy now he gain some recognition. YJT never fails me with his smiles and charming face which fits with his role in this drama. For PMY, i wasn't sure about her before, didn't hate her yet didn't love her either. After finished this drama, i find her quite good. thought she may play the same character as in city hunter. guess i was wrong.
The other thing which surprised me is they don't cast any IDOL.. not idols hater but... sometimes i hate PDs for picking not talented (in acting) idols instead of actors. In this drama i found many new faces that are great in this field. Such as young Moon Shik (i adore him), Oh Gil Han, Seo Joon Seok, they really did great job.

Music :
One of the best drama with great OSTs. my favourite is Tei's What my eyes say. This doesn't mean i don't like the others, i love the other songs. Guess for few days Michael learns to Rock's Eternal Love will stuck in my head.
The songs really fit with the scenes. amazing job for staffs.

Overall :
Amazing series, i'm sad it's over, hope there'll be healer2 xD.
I definitely recommend you all who haven't watched to watch this drama. This drama really worth your 20 hrs.

How all dramas should be made, with every episode leaving you anticipating the next. This drama did not have the dragging like some drama's. Every episode was exciting. The writers, directors and actors all did a wonderful job with this drama. It has become my all time favorite.

When I read reviews, I always like someone who gives both the good and the bad sides of the drama.
Now I'm going to do it, I will give my opinions about this drama.

First of all, I don't want to be overly excited about this drama because I just finished watch it. But after a few days I think about it again and I am still in LOVE with this drama!!

I watched this drama with my fiance and he said that this drama could be ended in 12 episodes if there was no romance involved. He was more interested in the action scenes and the intrigues. On the other side, romance time was the most anticipating scene for me. I love how CYS and SJH bound to each other. Most couples in Korean dramas that I've watched usually are rigid and seems to hold back to touch someone they love. I mean, well, if I love someone I will not be hesitate to touch my lover and making skinship as much as possible. The relationship of the 2 main casts seemed make sense to me and so natural. Probably for some people CYS and SJH are overly attached to each other, but for me it's just normal, that is how we do when we're so in love.

The story was so well-written and the casts were perfectly chosen. I can not picture anyone who can play either CYS or SJH better then Park Min-young and Ji Chang-wook. Anyway, this is my first time watching them on screen and now I have the thirst to watch them again. The thing is, this is their best drama so far, so i can't expect better drama from their past.. T_T

The thing that makes me a little disappointed is the ending. I think that I need some more explanations and previews about how each character live their lives after all of this. Anyway, too much or too little are both no good so I think it was ended with the good proportions. FYI, I watched the last episode more than once because I don't believe its really overrr...

At last but not least is the music. I don't know how many people would agree with me, but I expect some strong and up-beat music for the action scene's background, but most of the time, it's always instrumental music with soft piano and strings. Buutttt, all the OSTs : I LOVE ITT!!! I sync them on my phone and I always have a good memory of the drama when I listened to the OST. The OST that I love the most is "You", I repeated the song like..all the time :D

Well, one amazing drama was over, let's anticipate for another good one. We have to move on guys...(it's hard though)

I wasn't sure what to expect from this drama when i started it but I was hooked from the first episode. This drama is a good mix of action and cute romance. There is a lot of backstory that slowly is revealed but the story doesn't drag...every episode reveals enough to make keep coming back.

If you a romcom fan don't miss out on this drama because you think it is an action drama...it is well worth watching.

Healer is a very good drama and Ji Chang Wook is a GREAT actor! The plot is interesting and the story is really moving. It does take a couple episodes to really get into the story, but once you meet Ahjumma and get to know both our MC's, it flows so much better. Honestly, I was more interested in the romance and relationship between the MC's rather than the mystery behind their parents and the group of friends from 20 years prior. The ending was super dooper sweet and cute, which left me super satisfied. I will probably watch again, but not necessarily soon. I really liked the comedy intertwined in the series. Beware: the plot may seem straight forward but it only continues to thicken.

Healer was a good drama. Admittedly though, it did not grip me as much as other people. It took me until Episode 13 to get really interested because it started out really slow. It was initially very confusing, what with very tiny bits of information being revealed in the first 10 episodes. The narrative is such that the story cannot be figured out easily because of how seemingly disparate everything was early on. But I persevered and I'm satisfied the drama was able to entertain me in the second half nonetheless. I was more interested in the mystery surrounding the parents of the main characters so I didn't really care if the romance got pushed to the side once in a while. I mean, Healer strikes me as somewhat of a crime thriller series with a love story on the side. It tackled corruption of big corporations and injustices done to journalists because of dangerous exposes. This plot actually engaged me more than the romance. Don't get me wrong though. Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young were beautiful together. The way their love story was presented felt superhero-ish. I can't help but think that the writer must've been a fan of Superman, given the many allusions to Superman/Clark Kent-Lois Lane in the drama. Their first kiss even reminded me of a scene in the first Spiderman movie too.

Characters I loved were Healer's Teacher Yeong Jae (he broke my heart), Kim Min Hoo (I totally ship him with his female boss!), Yeong Shin's caring father and the cool ahjumma hacker Min Ja. Ji Chang Wook was awesome as always. Loved him.

I'm impressed at how versatile Park Min Young has become as an actress. She's improved so much since City Hunter. And OMG, Kim Mi Kyung? Is that the same old woman who played the housemaid mother of Park Shin Hye in The Heirs? Being able to camouflage into different personalities, leaving no trace of previous acting performances...that's what you call REAL acting, yo.

Oh and I LOVED the soundtrack they used: Eternal Love by Michael Learns to Rock. Now I can't get it out of my head. Ha.

My main complaint is the ending. Sure, I'm happy because I got the blissful ending I wanted for the main couple. However, I was also dissatisfied because I never got to see a more detailed narration of the downfall of the villains, particularly the Elder and the other members of The Farmers. They have been building up this noble motive of obtaining justice against these evil, greedy people since the beginning. Only to end it like that. It seemed to me that the ending was solely made for the OTP's benefit (i.e. so Healer and Chae Young Shin can live a happy and free life together, etc.) and not to Team Healer's overall cause. A pity because it could've made a big impact on a societal level. They already touched dangers to public safety and all that. They should've gone all the way. Hence, the 8 in my scores.

Despite not making it to my top favorite dramas, I gave it some high marks because I think it's a pretty intelligent show and the writing is solid. Moreover, it has enough sweet, heartwarming and funny scenes to balance the otherwise serious and socially relevant themes in the story, qualities which other crime thriller romance dramas (e.g. My Beautiful Bride) failed to deliver.

Unforgettable...
The only thing that described this drama... What are you looking for romance, action, suspense, science fiction, politics, melodrama you just name it and this drama offer you all... A well written plot with many twists... Ji Chang wook is so perfect... He loved him but his profession doesn't allow him to show it directly... She loved him but her promise to him doesn't allow her to follow him... A mother who is totally in dark and a friend who betrayed his friends for the love he had for his wife... A brother who understand the pain of his elder brother but can't help him more... Many shades of love... Nor every crime is a real crime and not every punishment is meant to be followed it is all about the ideology... Some see love as burden and some as blessing but not everything is about love... A total passionate romantic story with the love for society... Justice is not only what you want others need it too... Sooner or later justice will be done to all...

Let me start by saying that I'm not surprised by the amount of 10/10 star ratings that this show has—I can definitely see it as being worthy of that, and I certainly started watching it as high on this show as everyone else seemed to be, although it did take me a little longer to be sucked in.

I don't know if it's the amount of mystery/thriller books I've read or what, but the ending seemed a little predictable to me, and I guess I never really got the climactic moment I was hoping for.

I was also a little annoyed by the female lead throughout. She wasn't ditzy or stupid, but I honestly didn't think she was very smart or strong either. It got annoying when the show seemed to be LOUDLY ADVERTISING her as a strong character with dialogue like: "Wow, how are you not afraid at all?" or "Don't do such fearless things." when she always kind of did nothing in the actual moments (and her trauma was something I thought would be part of her character development, but it didn't really). Also: the first episode had her as someone who grew up "with a sixth sense," but as the drama went on, suddenly she lacked peripheral vision and hearing and couldn't even tell when she was being tailed by 30 men in black suits...

reading the reviews and comments here, i think im the only one who felt that the ending was rushed. ji an’ and her mom relationship just ended like that . realistic? yes. but anti climatic after the long build up. Kim moon sik just ended to be crazy and talking to himself? we deserve better than that. and what about the elder? its like they just give us tidbits of information in the finale but it did not really have a satisfying ending to the characters.

I had high expectations in this series. Maybe because kdrama had evolved so much and watching an old series wont be the same if you watch it back then and when you watched it today. i still love the story. Made me
hook to watch it until the end. Unfortunately, i was disappointed how the series ended which left me
with so much questions and felt that the ending was rushed.

I still liked it though.

Healer is one of the best dramas I’ve seen so far. It has the right balance of romance, comedy, action, suspense, everything you could ask in a drama.

The story is about this guy who calls himself “Healer” who together with a hacker “Ahjumma” does any kind of errands as long as they are paid (anything except murder) no questions asked. The story is full of suspense as to know who is really The Healer and why he does what he does. And for him to discover what happen to his family and why is he living the way he does. Doing his job he meets a young reporter who slowly gets involved with him and with the mystery surrounding him.

I found the acting to be really on spot, they had a great casting. It’s my first time watching Ji Chang Wook in anything but he does great as Healer, he has this serious face when needed and also the comedy part is always fun to watch. Also my first time watching Park Min Young and I found her cute and also tenacious reporter Young Shin very well acted. Yoo Ji Tae was also new to me and really loved him acting as the protective person Healer and Young Shin needed. I have seen Kim Mi Kyung before, on Heirs for example or The Master’s sun, but here she was awesome, she was unrecognizable and I love her!! Ahjumma is one of the best characters ever been on a drama, Kim Mi Kyung will never be the same for me I recently saw her on Oh Hae Young Again, and it made my brain so confused it was like “Ahjumma what are you doing there?? Crying and being a mom?

The OST is awesome I loved to pieces “Eternal Love” it’s on my top 5 of best drama songs. I download it and listen to it every time I’m down. It works like a charm, one of the best songs ever.

Overall this a very gooood drama, highly recommend it and I think you can watch it several times an even though the mystery won’t be a mystery anymore the love story and the goofiness will worth the rewatch.
