This one was pretty good compared to the other Chinese dramas I've watch (a similar one is Cruel Romance), not the best but it has the comedy, the romance, and the story plot twists that are pretty interesting.

the unique setting of the military school is the main attraction to me i think, it totally makes EVERY SINGLE MALE CHARACTER LOOK HOT (>.<). i mean if u wanted to see skin, and some abbs, it is pretty obvious in the trailer that skin will appear, and it is one of the main differences from historical romance dramas.

The plot was okay for me, it starts off really funny and the love development of the main couple, it also shows some really heartbreaking scenes that made me cry... (TT.TT). I just love the chemistry between some of the actors. But it starts to slow down a bit in the middle but that happens to every chinese drama i guess... (O.o?)

I think the casting was spot on. Chen joe is a good actor and she plays this character really well, and its pretty nice seeing the natural looking awkwardness in those awkward scenes. And for Jai Nai Liang... i didn't even know him before this drama, he's a pretty good actor. it makes the casting even better with the face of Bosco, he has the face but he just doesn't cut with the acting a bit in this drama, his showing of some feelings just didn't get to me...

Overall, i liked this drama. i recommend it to all of u who like a good romantic drama. and some action. and even some tragedy at the end. (^.^)

i love Qiao En in any role, as she is one of my faves.
as the previous commentor said, it's a bit too much emphasis on the childish brat
which is also a bit unreallistic in an army academy.
but that is lately the problem with new dramas ... romance of condor heroes, swordsman, etc
they don't know what they want it to be. or as if they have different script writers,.
so, they start out very captivating and in the middle it's all stupid comedy with no correlation to
the full movie. but since you are a fan of the actress(es),actor(s) .. you skip the silly episodes
and go to the ending.
that should not be the case as it should be well-done and focused...
like Cruel Romance, Lady and Liar, Prince and Frog, Shanghai Bund, Best Get Going...
you either decide it is going to be a comedy (Hot Mama) or you stay your course
as a period movie (Beauties of the Empress, Song of the Desert, City of devastating love).
... not flip-flop and going nowhere, distracting the viewer.

In this one, thankfully, the cast is strong, and the stupidity is subdued by the other characters
like the infatuated sister and the grudging nurse seeking revenge. also the real instructor,
and the tomboy military lady. all of them are strong actresses as with most chen qiao en movies,
the supporting roles are good actresses.
but for this one, there is too much eye-candy. if you want eye-candy, you must also have a strong
male character... Lady and the Liar , Cage of Love, Lang Lin Wang

Beside a little funny scenes the story is ridiculous. It's military academy but the behave as little childrens.
the female lead is ok but too little show of her tricks.

The drama started off heavy on comedic relief, funny antics to the point of childish and typical cliches of boy meets girl, start off on wrong foot and girl adopts someone else's identity. But suprisingly the storyline keeps evolving and kept my interest.
Qian bao bao is perhaps one of the better drama heroines. Shes beautiful, quick witted, brave, treasures friendships and strong sense of chivalry making her a unique and special female and its no wonder both male leads. Xiang hao and Shen Wen Tao both falls in love with hee. The good thing of the plot is that although its a love triangle, their love mostly was honest, no wishy washy and most of the time selfless, particularly Wen Tao. He really gives you second lead syndrome from supporting Baobao when she needs it and relegated to being good friends. Furthermore even though the two males are rivals on field and in love, there was never any malicious actions between them.
Most C dramas suffers mid series stump of draggy plotlines and over inflated drama. Suprisingly here although present it was still tolerable. Ep 26 to 35 were the less fav episodes due to reemergence of the second female lead who caused all the angst.
I appreciate Baobao's character being quite consistent. She has principles and although initially try to run off without telling Xiang Hao, she reliasd that was selfish of her and chose to stay at the risk of being found out and subjected to death. Xiang Hao's character has the most growth because he started off very immature and arrogant. His childish antics and really over action and expression sometimes makes it hard to stomach. In stark contrast with the cool and serious Wen Tao.
Theres also friendships and bromance. I appreciate the brother in arms take.
Acting wise. Ive alwayd love Joe Chen. Her eyes speaks when she acts. Its my first time seeing Jia Nai Liang. I find him abit forced and over the top in some scenes but his onscreen character quite similar to his off screen personality that i see on his reality show. Bosco ive seen alot of his HK drama n hes good but chemistry worse for him is a hit and miss depending on who hes paired with. In this case he has good chemistry with Joe.
If not for the ending, i would have given this a 9/10. I watch about 70% or more of total running time and thats vert high considering its a C drama of more than 30 episodes.
Im glad i didnt give up aft watchin the first episode.

I was legitimately disappointed by this. The premise is really interesting: a girl on the run takes on the identity of her doppelganger.

However, the light comedy we see in the first episode quickly becomes silly and just...nonsense. It distracted from everything else, and was a complete turnoff.
