Not a happy ending....
Don't read this, if you don't want to be spoiled!!!This story doesn't end well, but I won't say it's a sad ending, meaning, I doubt it will make you cry. It's a interesting story, but I hate unhappy endings. It's like I wasted my time watching it, even though it was well made. Dilraba Dilmurat is the reason it's even worth watching. There are no innocent characters.
Don't read anymore if you don't want to be completely spoiled. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Dilraba Dilmurat did really good in this. She can play a girl who's so in love with a guy, that just hates her. She is happy, it's hard for me to believe anyone can be that happy, really good acting job Dilraba does. Every time the guy is just so mean so her, it's like he kicked a puppy. You feel so bad for her. You just don't understand why anyone could treat girl like that, when she is so nice to him, so clearly in love with him.
Dilraba Dilmurat's character is stabbed on her wedding day, and she's in a coma. A angel says she can be revived, or reincarnated if she can remember who stabbed her. She's a ghost, and she starts to look for who did it.
You get to see her get stabbed and you get to see the back of the guy who did it. I knew who it was from the start. We don't learn why to the very last episode.
Dilraba Dilmurat character loved a guy, but he was in love with someone else. She hired someone to take photos of his love. We don't really get to see the photo's. I honestly don't know if the photo's were legit or photoshopped, but when she confronted the girl with the photo's she didn't really react as if they were fake. Dilraba Dilmurat character was going to throw the pictures off the roof and show the school that she was fooling around with another guy, while dating her love. The girl tried to stop her, and she fell off the roof. Dilraba Dilmurat character didn't kill her, it was a accident, but she saw her cellphone, and wrote text message as a suicide note, as if she wrote it, and jumped off. If the girl was cheating on the guy, then she wasn't innocent.
The guy she loved found out a few months later how she died, and he believe that Dilraba Dilmurat's character killed her.
2 guys were using Dilraba Dilmurat's character to get revenge. Dilraba Dilmurat's character was mainly just a girl who was so in love with a boy, that she tried to scare off his girlfriend, and she accidently died. 1 guy was marrying her to get control of her father's company to ruin her family so they would end up with nothing, and the other wanted her dead, for the death of his love. Both of the guys made her love them in the end, and both of them betrayed her. 2 times after she was stabbed someone tried to kill her in the hospital.
Dilraba Dilmurat's character didn't kill the girl, though, if she hadn't tried to throw the pictures off the roof, the girl never would have fallen. Still, I'm not sure if she could have been charged for her death. It was a accident.
Dilraba Dilmurat did such a good job with her puppy love for this guy. It was so good, and the guy really made you hate him for kicking her over and over again. For 5 years she chased him, and he never showed any sign that he liked her. Yet it never stopped her trying. You had to respect the effort she put into it.
The guy that was trying to get her to fall in love with him, he pretended to be her friend the whole time as well.
Dilraba Dilmurat's character just wanted love, and she was basically innocent. You could say, that she got her revenge on them all in the end. So many lives destroyed, not a happy ending, but like I said, it was interesting.

A story about multiple revenge, and hatred that has built up, meanwhile Jiang Li gets caught in the middle of it. Probably overly dramatic story plot where girl has crush on boy, who doesn't return the favor.
Eventually the girl gives up, and falls in for another guy years later, who's trying to get revenge for his father.
In the end its a love tragedy where no one wins.
11 episodes is short series compared to other dramas, so alot of the plot has to be sped through and then paid off.
Its hard to get attached to one character in the story, you can feel bad that things happened but everyone has ulterior motives, while Jiang Li is just a girl looking for love, unforeseen things happened, where shes not innocent, but she didn't deserve all that punishment either.

The Backlight of Love; A drama without any love
This is such a twisted drama that you'd think will be about love but is entirely about deception and morally ambiguous (or outright cruel) characters.A really underrated, with surprisingly low ratings drama but definitely worth the watch especially with its length:
This is a very short 10-20 minute episode, 11 episode drama with an amazing cast, script, storyline and acting.
Dilraba played a girl who was madly in love with Merxat's character, for several years. If it was anyone else I'd say it was obsession, but Dilraba played Jiang Li so well that you know it's love, a somewhat twisted love. She is then 'killed' on her wedding day when she was about to run away from her wedding with the supposed 'love of her life'. You can already guess who the killer is from the stabbing scene alone.
It does not matter who the ML and SML is, I really thought it would matter but they were both equally leads and come with a lot of twists in their 'love'. The casting was PERFECT for everyone.
If you think Qian Qiu was bad, then just wait for the twists that come with Mo Yan.
Jiang Li isn't the saint she's made out to be, but she's definitely the most 'good' person in this drama.
I say this is a drama without love because this entire drama focused on whether the ML's ever loved the FL and the FL trying to remember which one killed her. They were both deceiving her, but I think Qian Qiu (Xu Wen) genuinely loved Jiang Li, the way she loved Mo Yan. And like Yang Xu Wen's character in "The Memory About You" (which I couldn't finish), he deserved so much better from the FL, even if he did deceive her.
This drama does NOT have a happy ending. But I think the happiest ending it could have had was the ending it got. It was the perfect ending.

a love tragedy where no one wins.
This is a story about the selfishness of a girl, revenge story & the backlash/karma after that.Story about Jiang Li (JL) a woman that died whose try to find the reason & the man who is responsible for her dead. At first we get to see JL as an easy go lucky girl that try as hard as she can to get the love & attention from her love, Mo Yan (MY). And the story start to role, we can see that turn out JL not as naïve as we think she is, she is the spoiled girl that always get what she wants. That's why she keep harass MY in the name of love, just because she can't get him. In the end, finally she gave up & move on to the one man that always beside her, Zhao Qian Qiu (QQ).
What become pity here for our JL. As the story role we also can see that QQ turn out not honest or sincere toward JL. And the reason behind it quite pity too, the revenge for his dad. But in my opinion, if the story not this short, maybe we can see the polemic within QQ heart, where turn out he already fall in love with JL.
And in the end it become really really pity when we see the story between MY & JL. But for know the story for MY & JL themselves you can watch yourself. If I wrote that here, it will gonna be a big spoiler & I'm not gonna wrote that big spoiler here....
In the end, this is like Howard wrote: "In the end its a love tragedy where no one wins." But once again this a good story to self reflect. Because what you did in the end gonna be bite you back...

The sad love story of a rich girl
A rich girl falls in love with one of her classmates. She tries all the wrong ways to buy his love, but it never works. She gets pushed back again and again. Really painful to watch, although she is a real rich brat.
Until one day she decides to fall in love with a seemingly "good guy", another one if her school comerades.
On her wedding day she runs away before the ceremony and gets stabbed in an abandonned building.
An angel appears and gives her 7 days to find out who stabbed her and why.
She walks back in her own tracks and finds, that some things she had done had brought bad karma to herself and others.
She also finds out that many of the things she had firmly believed in had been fake.
Resumé: a nicely short Cdrama to watch inbetween. 11 episodes. Nothing lengthy.
Is it a happy ending?
Let's turn it like this: it's a clement merciful ending. Not a conventionally happy one.
I really liked young Rebas acting here. It also sounds as if it was unsubbed by a voice actor. Which worked pretty well.
