It's scary. The zombies are the most bizarre looking things. They are running around, bitting others heads off. And then the noises. Wow! Is so good. You will enjoy it. I mean even Goblin screamed shit when he watched it (That was a Goblin reference).
The story is amazing. The dialogues are beautiful. The cast was perfect. And Gong Yoo was pretty amazing in it. Love him.
It is a really good watch in a rainy night with the lights turned off.

could’ve been different but still i <3 it
as someone who ugly sobs at the ending.. i really wish the ending was different but i think if they add made it different, it wouldn’t be as powerful as it was.. i’d love a part two and i don’t mean the one that already exists because that was garbage. a part 2 showing the aftermath of the situation. just throwing out some ideas on what i would’ve loved… part 2 but it takes 1 year later and we get the typical flashbacks of the aftermath.. would’ve loved the pregnant woman and dad together honestly but that’s just me loving romance.. but then again it’s far fetched as you could tell she was in love with her husband but seeing her connect and protect someone’s child? could’ve been a BOMB stepmother as the child’s mom was still alive (i’m pretty sure) either way this movie is worth all of the hype as it’s not your typical zombie movie tbh, the storyline may be typical but the feelings ? def not and the music choices? amazing. Was this review helpful to you?
jumpscares, laughs and tension (oooooo) and handsome faces
this was brilliant. i loved it so much and it got me so engaged, there wasn't a moment where this film didn't have my full attention. i'll rewatch this again some time and for those who like zombie/thriller movies, this is definitely a must watch! i watched this with my family and everyone loved it. Also got to love Gong Yoo (has to be one of my favourite Korean actors/actors of all time. Every character played a big part, nothing was meaningless although the tension and angst did make me shout at the characters quite a few times. i really could not recommend this enough. it was also really funny, i don't know what else i could've asked for.Was this review helpful to you?
Thrilling Zombie Masterpiece
"Train to Busan" is an exhilarating rollercoaster of tension, heart-pounding action, and unbreakable human spirit. A perfect 10/10! From the first electrifying moment, I was hooked. The dynamic characters are flawlessly portrayed, making their plight all the more gripping. The film's confined setting, the train, intensifies the suspense, and the zombies are terrifyingly realistic. But what truly sets this movie apart is its emotional depth. The father-daughter relationship at its core tugs at heartstrings, adding a poignant layer to the chaos. Each scene is a pulse-pounding delight, with the relentless pace leaving no room for boredom. "Train to Busan" is a triumph of storytelling, blending horror and humanity seamlessly. This cinematic gem deserves every star and more! Was this review helpful to you?
It's a no for me.
Could've been a good movie, especially with the train aspect but I didn't like it. The actors were so slow, like they were waiting for the zombies to almost get to them before they start running. I wasn't attached to any character because their storylines were boring. Like the guy from the high school sports team. Also the "villain" was plain annoying. He had no storyline, no substance, nothing. I only liked the ending because at least that was realistic. The zombies were good too. But that's itWas this review helpful to you?

THE MUST WATCH ZOMBIE MOVIE
I’m an avid zombie watcher and this really ranks high!!!! though the plot is fairly common, they really pull up in esp with the movie happening in the confines of a train. with the larger story of zombies, there’s an added layer of depth we get as we look into the families, their dynamics, and their personalities. this movie manages to do so much in its runtime. I’ve rewatched this multiple times and it always manages to make me cry. though there are a lot of predictable moments, it’s still really enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?
the zombies are very scary?
The zombies are very scary and this k-drama is very cool when fighting zombies and protecting the people around them. .Was this review helpful to you?
This movie is one hall of a scary movie. The plot and acting was so great. Almost everyone made a sacrifice just so the other person can survive. Those scenes were really heart touching and heartbreaking. The last scene where the pregnant woman and the kid were passing through a tunnal was 😭. The little kid was singing and damn i broke down into tears. Even now that im dropping my review, im near tears.
This movie is 10/10. REALLY GREAT!!

Not scary and made me cry :<
Nice zombies, but the plot was lacking and the ML and a few others were REALLY irritating top watch the ENTIRE length of the movie. Expected more zombies, and as others have pointed out tehy could go from not being able to open doors to holding onto the train and creating a rope pile to climb.Of course a good lead we were enjoying dies off (the pregnant womans husband) and the movie especially near the end keeps getting more sad so I was just crying. The ML cant even say decent things to his daughter at the end.
This was not horror, and barely scary I am suprised its hyped as one of the greatest zombie movies. Its not terrible, i wouldnt call it bad. It was a rough start to our horror movie nights we're hosting though in our discord, so watch with tissues in hand.

Exceptional Horror Flick That Runs Deep!
I’ll be honest. I’m not a fan of zombie movies. George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” is still a classic, but even that movie didn’t exactly thrill me. To me, zombies tend to be boring. The slow, gaited walk—despite the overwhelming numbers—just made them less imposing than they should be.“Train to Busan” not only gives us an absolute thrill ride, but it also does what Korean filmmaking has been so good at over the years; it gives us food for thought and for people to decide what’s really important. Who else could put such a message, and do it effectively, than the Koreans? In short, this is the first zombie movie that I’ve seen that has heart and depth.
I will say that this is the best zombie movie I’ve ever seen. The zombies don’t do the stupid walk in this film. They run. They chase in a relentless frenzy that begs the viewer to ask, “how in the world did they film that?!”
Seok Woo (wonderfully played by Gong Yoo) is a workaholic father who has little time for his daughter, who begs him to take her to Busan to see her mother. Seok Woo is a man so disconnected from his daughter, Soo Ahn, that he doesn’t realize that he’s bought her a birthday gift that she already has. He finally agrees to take her.
In the meantime, a massive outbreak of “infected” people begin to take over, and of course, it only takes one as an infected woman jumps aboard the train just as it’s leaving the station. What transpires after this is an absolutely incredible survivor movie and what becomes of human nature when lives are on the line. There are those who believe in doing right by people, and there are others who believe that survival by any means necessary is justified. Interestingly enough, Seok Woo starts off as a man who believes that saving himself and his daughter is all that matters, leaving one man to rebuke him harshly for his selfish behavior.
Once the pursuit is underway, you have a good idea of who is most likely to survive, but there are still questions regarding the other characters and whether or not they will make it. And on a deeper level, what will these people do in their last moments, which brings us some very compelling moments.
On the one hand, this is a survivor movie worthy of “Titanic” or “The Poseidon Adventure” or “The Towering Inferno.” And on the other hand, it also begs the viewer to ask questions that could easily be used in a university philosophy class.
Performances are stellar across the board, but Kim Soo An really impressed me as Seok Woo’s daughter. The last few minutes of the film are heartbreaking and heart wrenching.
There isn't much music in the film, which adds to the effect, but when it kicks in, you know that you-know-what is about to hit the fan!
There really isn’t an element of this film that I can say came up short. From story to characters, to cinematography, this movie excels in every category. I see why this film is already considered a classic, and it’s the only zombie movie that I plan to add to my collection!
