This was a really cute and light-hearted lakorn. If you're looking for something simple, without much anguish and with a handsome and delicious male lead, then you can stop searching already.

Nadech Kugimiya is so dreamy in this that I couldn't even believe. I've watched episodes of some of his lakorns (90% of them with Yaya Urassaya), but in none of them he was nearly THIS handsome, and, yeah, he's always been beautiful. It's just that, in this, he's achieved a whole other level of sexiness. And, what's more, his character is complete as a man and was the main reason why I watched this lakorn. As for complete, I mean, he was understanding, intelligent, kind, sexy, confident, competent, funny, cute, gosh, he was the perfect man and husband material. I WANT KHUN SIGNH. NOW. GIMME.

On the other hand, as complete as he was, the female lead was extremely annoying most of the time, that's why I said that I watched it until the end because of him. At the beginning I found her extremely selfish, always causing trouble for everyone and still asking to remain at the farm shamelessly. That really pissed me off. Thank God Khun Singh existed, because if he didn't, I wouldn't have been able to put up with Noona.

I didn't care about any side characters, I hated her mother and skipped most of her scenes.

The couple scenes were cute, but it lacked deepness... in the skinship department, if you know what I mean. I felt as if I was watching a show for children. But, okay, it was cute.

Now I'm going to cry on a corner after becoming a Singh addict. Don't mind me.

This drama wasn't anything particularly spectacular, but the fun characters and cute plotline (not to mention sexy Nadech...) made it worth a watch.
STORY: Simplistic and overdone. That being said, the drama didn't try to be more than it was. The story mainly revolved around the leads' love story, and that's really what made the drama worth watching. It was awesome seeing Singh go from the tough guy to an adorable little cinnamon roll. Mew's character was good too, and it was nice to finally have a heroine who will actually stand up for herself once in a while.
ACTING/CAST: Nadech stole the lakorn easily. He was so hot as Singh; seeing him play a sexy guy instead of a goody-two shoes made my life.
Mew did a great job with what she was given. Her character didn't have much depth, though. I was pleasantly surpirised at how great the chemistry between Nadech and Mew was. A lot of it was he height difference... Mew is so tiny compared to Nadech, but they were honestly couple goals in this drama.
The side characters overacted as usual, but they were funny and kept the lakorn lightm
MUSIC: Nothing amazing, but the theme was good and blended well with the drama.
REWATCH VALUE: I'd rewatch for the couole scenes and skip through the rest of the plot. But I'd watch it again.
This drama is for lakorn lovers who love a good romance but don't want to have to endure the usual emotional rollercoaster. The lakorn is logical and doesn't fall into the usual stereotypes with the leads breaking up because they think one is lying or because they believe the evil girl, etc.

The things I liked about this lakorn are exactly what other reviews here mention: less is more. Small, regular human problems touch my heart more than saving the world. So, when I began to watch the main heroine to set on path to just spend some time with her father (even without necessarily telling him she's his daughter) it was ENOUGH for me.

Unfortunatelly, Nadech annoyed the hell out of me! I would so prefer just a father-daughter story this time. The romance line was a surplus for me as I find the lead actor off-putting, but apart from my dislike of him I can't say anything bad, luckilly the romance line was not that prominent.

As I hate Tanya Tanyares, I skipped her scenes entirely. Who I appreciate is Au Tanakorn, perfect for the role of the father. The only problem is his concurrent pairing here with the pretty wooden doll Diana Flipo, visibly even younger than Mew Nittha playing his daughter. Though I'm not bigot to condemn an age-gap couples in general, it IS a disturbing element in here and if the producers wanted Au Tanakorn to do an age-gap romance (Au Tanakorn is still attractive and good enough actor, so why not), then perhaps they should save it for other than this particular lakorn.

All in al, as this was not a re-watch material, my rate is - as so often again - the perfect average.

Watched it when I was in my Nadech crush phase, was fully in love with him by the end of the series.

Watch it if you’re in the mood for: Some serious Nadech goodness. He is extremely charming, handsome, caring, sensitive, mature, thoughtful, jacked up, yada yada in this series. He did not do a single thing which Thai Lakorn ML's get bad rep for generally. Infact, he was downright an epitome of manly virtues.

Why I liked it:
* ML is all kinds of my dream man: Nadech was shown to be a great boss, lover, brother. He was quite mature. The kind of possessiveness he depicted as Nai Singh, is my favourite kind of possessiveness to see on screen. And I almost never get to see it done right. The kind where the ML asserts his rights on the FL once he has confessed to her and she accepts. Here he asserted it even without the FL accepting him. :D He portrayed it very well, without it being too in-your-face.

* Daddy vibes: Somehow Nadech was more fatherly to Mew than the guy who played her actual father. Nadech even asked the FL in the drama: Am I more kinder to you or Na Ram (the father)? Frankly, it was Nadech who was kinder, by a long shot. He was always teaching her stuff, patting her head, showing her different experiences, caring for her etc. In one scene, he even gives her food and says "eat this so you grow up fast!:D". I liked the protective vibes he gave out. In real life too, if someone has daddy issues (like the FL had ), it wouldn't be a stretch of imagination to see her falling in love with a guy who acts like Nadech. I wish this theme was explored more in the drama :D

What I did not like:
* FL: I swear Mew should be sued for spoiling the charm Nadech was oozing on the screen. She totally was not into him, shrank every time he got too close to her. He pours his feelings to her with soulful eyes and killer dimples, and she just nods. Damn girl, move. I was doing a better job of emoting to my laptop screen in response to Nadech's acting.
I don't think Mew is a bad actress in general. She was great in My Husband-in-law. Either she disliked Nadech on a personal level, or the Director was freaking blind to let her keep spoiling all these lovely romantic scenes. Her crass acting is singularly responsible for this series not being a solid 10. If you cannot do love scenes/can't stand the ML, why the heck sign up for doing them?
I feel bad for Nadech. He got his romantic acting A-game to this series. Way better than the various series he has with even Yaya. And Mew ruined it. Big time!

Everything is perfect in this Drama.. The LM and LF moments were so sweet. There is no unnecessary lead arguments and drama just for the sake of a plot build up but a story which is very romantic and cute that will melt your hearts. Plus watching a very handsome and sweetest hero in Love (and showing it😍) with a naive heroine is such an entertainment to watch. This is the first ever drama where I wished the number of episodes were more. I have already watched it 4-5 times over the years and might still come back to it

This one is a good one! the overall story line is good but it got a little just a LIttle annoying at some parts. Though the chemistry of the main girl and main guy is good I feel it could've been better. They both are cute on their own or maybe I just wanted to see more............. LOL!

There is no evil second female leads in this one, ladies and gentlemen!
For that alone, this deserves a place on your watch-list. :)
Besides that, there is a nice pace and an abundance of characters, each with their own traits (yes, fine.. there are insanely malicious villains, but they only help build up the story).. because, just like FL lead said: "I can't forgive you, if you don't forgive yourself"
WHY I LIKED IT?
I like so many things in this one. Mainly, because it's light and fluffy.
The fluffy-ness of it is perfect for those days you just can't be bothered with your day-to-day tedious tasks and stressful real-life situations. That said, the sweetness MAY cause you to pause the Show a few times in an episode, just to give yourself a reality check, because it MAY be a little to strong.
If you're anything like me, you'll catch yourself laughing at some of their "ouch" moments. And, let me tell you, when the heroes come to those "ouch" moments, they have already dug themselves deep in the funny situation, they can't just jump out, and we get to see them as uncomfortable as.. cute.
Two thumbs up to our ML. Persistence in that man.. without spoiling it, I'll say: if I was an employer and had a seasonal worker that can mess up every single task, get herself in more than one messy situation a day, and made me stop all my work countless times a day just to help her.. she'd be sacked the same day. No remorse. No more chances. Sacked, goodbye. BUT, our ML is better than me (luckily, right?) and I applaud his gentle nature.
Skinskip. If you're familiar just with Korean drama, you'll notice most comments being about how many actual touches has there been between the leads. Here's a LOT; but don't expect more. Because this is a fluffy, cute, naive love story (with a lot of shooting, at night, in the forest.. but hey..)
I loved the scenery.
I watched more then one series FOR the scenery. And this Show did not disappoint me.
And, another thing: nature preservation?! AMAZING topic, and I loved every single little thing they did. Illegal forestry is a serious topic, and I'm glad the Show gave a strong point against it.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE
Not many things, actually.
This Show is "all feels", and if we take is as such, it'll give us a nice ride. Predictable? YES. I was sitting, watching and thinking "but, why hasn't there been a kidnapping, yet?", and Show gave me just that. And, that clumsiness is borderline insane, as I've mentioned earlier. To the FL: girl, you've BURNED a place! You should get sacked. You're lucky our ML is also insanely forgiving.
THE MUSIC
Nice scores, good transitions. Some serious tunes for the dreadful scenes. I say: it was well placed and has helped the Show flow smoothly. Main theme is delightful.
RE-WATCH VALUE
Sure. Why not? There is PLENTY of adorable scenes (and, I'll let you know: those I found to be most precious do not belong to your Main Couple) :)
OVERALL
That said, I just let everything go, and enjoyed the cuteness of it all: drunk-party-going mom, birth secrets, pistol-pointing villains, nosy reporters, majestically forgiving bosses, heck, I liked them all.
Even the police.

This drama was unpredictable amazing , didn't expect to get addicted this much . The story will teach you many morals in life and will show all kind of love one can encounter , sometime love can be hidden in harsh words but action will reveal the feeling of the person , love has many forms and different ways to convey it  .One can be searching for love his entire life but who knows that what he is searching for is more closer than his shadow . The drama balanced between the Romance and the family love , that is what made me love it  ,their are moments of sadness and despair and moment of happiness and laughter .
The acting was superb , loved the main leads the show all kind of emotions clearly , even the supporting characters had their great moment (they added special flavor to this story ) u will enjoy every moment and scene . The best thing for me in this drama was the villains ( in my opinion ) if the actor can make the audience hate them , that's the ultimate success , here that is what I found u will feel that u want to strangle the mother and other characters and burn them alive .
ooooooh the music was amazing , their is this specific one that played on the scene of the father and the daughter it was so adorable and the lyrics are so meaningful .
probably I will give it a try again in the near future , overall the trip during this story was great , I totally recommend every one to watch it <3

All in all this was a really sweet and appealing lakorn. I find it hard to find the low key and drama free shows, so this was definitely appreciated.  The plot was pretty solid and with minimal amount of angst so I would watch this again when I need some cheering up. Main guy was awesome, perfect acting and the character's behaviour was really lovely. Main girl was also good, a more low key performance but a sweet character and not very annoying unlike many lakorn heroines. I know some find her behaviour to be pretty stupid (and it is) and selfish but I don't really mind. And compared to other heroines she is pretty rational and not very self centered. Sure she creates problems and has a selfish motive but she is pretty humble about her mistakes and grateful for the leeway she gets.  I think the only thing that detracted for the rating for me was that the while the chemistry between was good it wasn't amazing. And in this kind of character driven (versus plot driven) drama great chemistry between the character's is needed.

I also appreciate a romantic drama where the focus aren't on the family's disapproval or being an obstacle.

Still recommend it :)

TL;DR - A cute story about a girl finding her dad. A pretty easy watch, but not without some bumps in the beginning. The real draw of the show is our ML and how he gets the girl.

This is a cute story about a girl who sets off to find her dad and the surprises that come along with it. I thought the plot was pretty straight-forward and heart-warming, and definitely my favorite parts of the show was the moments when Nara was with her dad. Both clearly have trauma concerning the situation that caused him to leave her when she was young which was sad, but just made it that much better when they found each other again. The drama concerning Nara's family made a good watch, although I could've honestly done without her mother. Her mom was my least liked character in the show with how selfish she was, although she did redeem herself a little in the end. I guess I can't really blame her for how she is without mentioning the grandpa, who enabled her behavior. But still.

The baddies in this show are kind of a joke. Everybody pretty much knows how bad they are (which makes Nara's mom look even more stupid for being with the dad baddie) and their role was just to be the baddies and give the show more plot than just a girl finding her dad. Both were dumb and more or less got their just desserts at the end.

Now the star of the lakorn is obviously our ML, Singh. Singh is just soooo swoony and the ideal male lead; he's devoted to our FL, supports her in every way, is pushy but not aggressive, not afraid to tell her his feelings, mature and is just a straight up good guy. It's endearing to watch him love and care for Nara and it makes me wish I could find my own Singh in real life. That's why I feel bad when Singh pours out his heart to Nara and she just...nods. I felt like Nara was very restricted in telling her feelings to Singh, although I guess some of her actions did make me believe she cares for him. Regardless, I wish she would affirm his feelings and not look so awkward when he's affectionate to her.

I will warn you that if you plan to watch this, Nara is kinda annoying in the first three episodes. I like to think it's out of desperation for her dad, although I wish she handled that whole situation better and was less stubborn. After episode three she does mellow out more but doesn't lose her backbone. She's also super cute and small, which makes the height difference between her and Singh adorable haha.

I really liked the music here, I felt the songs fitted the theme of the lakorn very well. The song sung by the young girl and her dad was my favorite out of all of them. If you're looking for an easy-breezy show with sweet romance then I'd recommend you watch this. I don't rewatch things often, but if I were to I'd rewatch for the Singh + Nara moments.

Finding Love Back to the Heart

Based on the novel "Tam Rak Keun Jai" by author Kingchat, the drama follows a daughter's journey to finding and reconnecting with her father, who she thought had passed away.

There are not many dramas that are able to capture my attention from the very first 5 minutes. But this one did. I was caught from the beginning as it was thrilling — seeing the FL hike up to the mountains as a little girl cutely sings about her father's words about a rainbow and then all of a sudden there being gunshots and the ML saving both his and the FLs life as they duck behind trees and the sounds of gunshots ring in the air. It was exciting, and I was invested!

Every character (except the villains) had an organic growth and maturation. You could see their actions and their slow reflection, and development. For example, the FL's mother's gradual reflection during the ending episodes of the drama seemed very organic. She did not do a 180 and completely transformed into a well-mannered woman who liked to stay at home and do virtuous things, but she did learn to make peace with her ex-husband, her father, and also learned to love the FL as her daughter.

Additionally, I thought that the setting of the drama was beautiful, especially the location of the FL's father's home, which was situated just beside this beautiful river. It made me want to live in a place like that.

Aside from that, when it comes to the romance aspect of the drama: while I was unsure of the romance between the ML's younger sister and the FL's father, it did not bother me to the point of disliking the pairing. I also adored the ML in this drama. His gentleness towards the FL and his creative ways to keep her around — when she would ruin the work she was given — instead of firing her, I really appreciated it. He was very kind and indulgent with her... and this is where I find the only gripe I can with this drama.

I can't tell if it's the way the FL's character is written, or if it's because the ML is so gentle and cute with her but the FL's response or reciprocation of affection towards the ML seemed muted when compared to the ML. In fact, I think I'd just blame it to how the FL was written. They clearly liked each other but she kept pushing him away or edging away when he held her. Small stuff like that. It made me feel as if she was either not that interested ... or was being pushed to be "modest" — if you can call it that — in order to preserve the youthful innocence of her character.

Overall, this is definitely one of the best lakorns I have watched this year so far.
A well-written piece.
9/10

— on a more humorous note, an alternate title of this lakorn can be "Daddy Issues". Those who watch it will know.
