Love Shuffle (2009)

Both dramas are about a group of grown-ups searching for love. Also the actors in both series are great.

Both have strong friendship bonds between group of people, and and romance as well.

Similar ensemble cast, both dramas have a similar feeling to them at times. Both highly recommended.

In terms of story and style they are not at all similar, however most of the male cast members from Love Shuffle also star in Top Caster.

"The Reason I Can't Find My Love" follows the lives of three women who have difficulties in dating and finding love. They all went to the same high-school and now begin to live under the same roof by chance ...

Both dramas deal with friendship and interaction between people with different background who all live in the same floor. Love Shuffle have men and women and there's more romantic links between them when in Ode to Joy all girl tenants makes it more intimate and friendly. both dramas contain some good life lessons to make you ponder over.

Housewife Miyazawa Tomomi, her husband out of a job, loses her treasured home as her family is forced to do with less during the recession. Her one ray of sunshine is her upcoming middle school class reunion, where she hopes to meet old friends as well as old flames. The class reunion, however, turns out to be more of turning point not only for her but for the others as well. At the party, she reunite with her old friends Sugiyama Kosuke, Nishikawa Yoko, Okubo Shinichi. Just how will these four people's lives change after their class reunion...

They have the same screenwriter and the same level of spontaneity and wild premise xD Eroi Kareshi reminded me Love Shuffle which is one of my first dramas and also one of my favorites because they have somehow similar plot.

Exchanging partners, friendship and truth games. Who would you end up in the end with ? Whom do they really love ?

Both about people sharing an apartment and have similar jokes and characters.

This drama also revolves around the relationships between the people living in the same building. Each having their own difficulties and secrets and how they find support in each other eventually.

Tachibana Miyabi is 39-years-old and hasn't had a boyfriend in 5 years. This doesn't bother her though as she is pretty and confident and enjoys her life as a single woman. She is a doctor and runs her own successful dermatology clinic. But at her school reunion, she finds herself being pitied by others for still being single. Afterwards, she attends a gourmet meeting at a restaurant. There, she talks about her school reunion. Seiji, the owner of the restaurant, makes a biting remark that she isn't the type popular with men. She becomes upset by the remark, but finds herself taking his advice to heart. Eventually, she asks Seiji to mentor her on how to catch men to which Seiji agrees. What follows is a series of mishaps and triumphs and adventures as Miyabi does her best to be the 'type' of woman men want.

Both are essentially comedies but with underlying darkness, bitterness and depth. Psychology genre with introspections over humanity, life and love.
Recommended for fans of depth, psychology and/or dark humor lovers or just people with an overral cynical outlook on life and humanity.

Friends living together, supporting each other, developing romance. Strong friendship bonds between group of people.

Both are cute, lovely and funny and have one lead actor - Tamaki Hiroshi.
