Plot is good and I think it's similar to American series "Cold Case". I liked that series but I think this one is better because this doesn't have many and many more seasons like non-Asian dramas usually has...
Acting was great. Ueto Aya is my favorite actress (well one of them) so I might be biased a bit. Her character was different from her characters before. I also liked every other character too. I think the "lab nerds" were amazing, especially Kimura Ryo.
I liked the insert songs/music in this drama. Opening and ending suited for the drama but they weren't my taste though..but I still liked them...maybe it's a bit weird..
I re-watch only rare few dramas and I think I might just re-watch this one day. Though there's still SP and 2nd Season for me to watch.
Overall I gave this 8 even though most of the ratings are 6...
This is a good drama for Ueto Aya fans and people who likes mystery dramas like I do :D

the acting was superb, like always ueto aya was able to show the maturing of her role gradually. it wasn't something that happened immediately. each episode showed a little growth in her. of course the rest of the veteran actors were lovely too. masayuki was rather funny, the funny relationship of his with sakuragi was at times hilarious.
the music of the drama was spot on. it accomodated the feels of the story and everything perfectly. music should enhance a story, not take over it.
i think that rewatching zettai reido immediately is a no no but if you want to watch again after a while i think that you won't always remember every detail of each episode so this means you can enjoy it once again.
overall i liked this drama more than the usual crime dramas that i have watched, mainly because of the focal points that it has. it doesn't only revolve around solving the crime but also talking to the families of those who died and saving them from the uncertainty of "why" their precious family member died and who did it. the second focal point is character growth which i like it when i see it in dramas and i appreciate it more than characters who show no growth and behave the same and think the same from the beginnning of the drama to the end of it.

Even though the story isn't super unique you don't really feel bored, as if you've seen it before. What this show does have, that a lot of crime dramas don't, is the focus on the feelings that everyone have.
The victims, family and friends of the people that has left the world and even sometimes the murderers feelings.
What made them commit the crime?? What were the victims doing before they died and what did they do that caused them to become the victims??
The fact that this drama went into that territory and not only focused on the crime solving itself, is what made this show in my opinion.
The acting from the main cast is really great Ueto Aya did a great job of being a "pure" newbie without being too naive and slowly growing as the series progress.
Though I did feel that in some instances some of the guest characters could be a bit stiff in the acting but nothing that bothered me to much.
The music was great, the soundtrack fit really well on the scenes the were playing on and I could see myself listening to it on my spare time.
As for rewatch value, I always find it to go down a bit since you've already watched it... especially if the drama has a lot of twists. Zettai Reido does not really have any huge twists so I feel like you could watch this again after some time and still enjoy it to the fullest.
Overall it is a quite average drama, nothing to special but nowhere nere boring. It has it's moment, and I had no trouble binging the first season, so I would recommend this one to lovers of crime dramas ^^

This show is a very unique detective show full of very intriguing stories that I've never seen in any crime, mystery, or police show/movie in a very long time! The cast was superb! It's been wonderful seeing actors and actresses I'm used to in such different roles (ex: from medical to police). There didn't really seem to be any well developed backstories, and it felt more like you were dropped straight in to the middle of the investigation(s) work day/week/month/year. However, I think that is what really made this show so interesting! With almost little to no well developed backstories (save for a few key, important points of info) I believe the writer(s), director, staff, and crew created a show full of honest humanity and reality.
