The female lead is the same actress...and her roles in the shows are highly similar. They both deal with romance, comedy, and love/hate relationships.

Both feature strong female leads who are career oriented and a realistically portrayed romance. They are set in different industries, but I felt that both had a similar vibe.

Both have strong female leads that are career oriented and romantic subplots that are really realistic without the frilly fluff. (I love frilly fluff, but somethings you want something that feels real. Both of these do that.) although Powerful opponents is making the open ended whereas when it’s at night is tied up fairly well.

While "When It's At Night" is more romance based and longer, both deal with historical artifacts and the protection or sale thereof. Both deal with catching people in the Black Market of stolen art and antiquties.
