I'm not going to be particularly hard on this mini series, because I know it wasn't supposed to be a serious drama. It was just something fun and special for GOT7 fans. Overall, the story was cute, but kind of cliche. Girl meets boy, boy protects girl, someone has to die, etc etc. Don't attack me GOT7 fans, I'm just writing my honest opinion. Isn't that what reviews are supposed to be? Nevertheless, I think that the cliches of this drama were what made it cute. Plus the concept of Knights and Guardians was just too adorable. The ending was kind of rushed though, they didn't explain it well enough and I had to rewatch the end 3 times to understand what exactly had happened. It also seemed like they were trying to squish 3 different endings into one ending, as if they couldn't decide. The ending could've been better. Endings are always the hardest part to write. How does one wrap everything up but also leave the audience satisfied while also wanting more at the same time?

GOT7 is a musical group, so obviously their acting skills are not superb, but I think they did a great job despite the fact that they're singers. JB obviously has experience, but still.

The music was pretty much just all of GOT7's hits and a few others, so I already knew most of them. It was nice to have their songs playing in the background though, made it more enjoyable.

I don't really rewatch dramas/movies/etc, but since this was such a short and sweet series I'll probably watch it again if I have free time.

Although it seemed like I had nothing to say, I enjoyed the this mini-series. The only reason I gave it a 7.5 is because if I gave it a 8+ it would be like comparing it to big shot dramas out there like MLFTS, Healer, Kill Me Heal Me, Pinocchio, etc etc. Don't hate me. If you're bored and there's nothing to watch, this cute mini series will be perfect for you. :)

Every fan of GOT7 or JYP was waiting for this drama happily, isn't that so?

First of all, the story was unique. It had those akward or funny moments, some which would even make you ask yourself "what is happening?" (mostly at the beggining), but it also has very cute moments that will make you smile all of the sudden and moments when you will empathise with the characters. Also, if you love the members of GOT7 you will love every second you get to see them; it would never be a waste of time!

Secondly, I personally loved the idea of "knights" and having such funny and handsome knights beside you wouldn't bother you, would it? (haha) The acting was really satisfying, I got attached to the main story and to all the characters, each of them having their own part.

Moreover, the music was really playful and I enjoyed how it was "placed" during every moment of the drama. Being a fan of GOT7, it was amazing for me to both see them act and listen to their songs at the same time.

To sum up, wether you are a fan of GOT7 and JYP or not, this drama is defintely worth watching because it has a lot of funny moments and you can never get bored. You won't be dissapointed if you give it a chance.

Honest review from an IGOT7.

I love the boys, and this was fun to watch, but let's be real. The story was basic, predictable and unoriginal. Their acting was cheesy and even cringey at times. Just ask any of the members how they feel about the show and they would agree. The music is great because, it's GOT7. I would probably never watch it again, except in clips to laugh at. Overall, it was "OK". It wasn't so bad that I couldn't watch all of it, but I laughed at most of it. I'm sure with some proper training and better writing, our boys would be better actors. Just look at our "top star" Jinyoung, he's been in a couple of supporting roles now.

Oh boy...where do I even begin? This drama is um...it's something...like how do I even put it? Cute, dramatic, cute, hard-core, cute, funny - did I fail to emphasize cute?

The plot of the story was actually something I was very proud to see from JYP. Before watching, I honestly thought it was going to be a straight up hot mess of fan-service, which it was (very 'cute' fan-service, too) to an extent. There is still a very evident, unique plot and story behind all the cutesy GOT7 moments, and it's pretty friggin' good too, considering the shortness of each episode. Who would've known that a lot of cute-drama-action-comedy could be jumbled into only 12 minutes and still have the same strong emphasis as any other television drama and not be a mess?

I was very impressed with Jinyoung's acting skills in here, they left me literal chills, as did Jaebum! The other members did a satisfactory job too, considering they're new to the whole drama thing. But Jinyoung is just...wow. Also before watching, I feared for who and how the girl part would be portrayed. But Song Hayoon didn't fail me, everything about her character was (what's another word for cute?) endearing? What I mean about her character is pretty evident in the first scene with Min of Miss A-- which is another thing I loved about the casting: It was a spontaneous JYP party from beginning to end, (especially in the soundtrack omg)

I was a sucker for the beginning intro (opv) of the series, the song and dance were brutally intense and it just made me excited every episode and as soon as it cut off: BOOM! back to the cute, which was okay, because the way this drama developed was just pleasurable.

Overall, I can say that Dream Knight is a definite guilty pleasure of mine, and if you like GOT7 you should watch it, and if you don't you should still watch it because cute things and emotional rollercoasters in under 12 minutes are too good to not watch.

I watched this because I'm a fan of GOT7.

This drama was really cute though.
Whoa, didn't know the main girl was 28 years old... Geez, she looks so young like 19ish.

Story: Lol, so cliche. The concept of knights in this drama was so cute haha. The dolls were cute. I REALLY like the trailer though. The music and everybody looked so good. Anyways, the drama was kinda boring but it was cute.

Acting/Cast: Their acting were okay tbh it's more about their looks. The girl was kinda good I guess? Not really? Idk... Don't really think I could take this drama that serious haha.

Music: There was music?! Man.. I need to focus more LOL

Rewatch Value: Eh, only for fan service. I wouldn't rewatch it unless I wanted to see them together or see GOT7 act together.

Overall: It was ok. It's enjoyable bc you get to look at them act and they're so attractive. The ending didn't bother me much because it was just a fun drama.

Overall: 5.3

Story: 7.5
The story has an interesting concept.  Dolls that come to life in order to protect their master from harm, it's cute.  The seriousness of losing a mother was very well portrayed by the actresses, to but to honest, they should have kept with just one or two things wrong, instead of giving her something she would one day be unable to walk.  It had all the workings of melodrama, done in a comedy format.  Though the story is interesting, it fails on delivery for me, with too much happening in such a short period.
The second story of Lee Jenny , seemed to be odd one to tell.  I know de-villainizing your villain is common now a days but with the doll story plot already in full swing, this being a web drama, it seemed a little bit too much and muddled.
One last note, thing that bugged me the most, and I didn’t know where to put it, was the extreme close ups, that didn’t make sense.  The scenes would have a greater impact if they were from far away instead of where their faces take up the entire screen.  (Personal thought)

Acting/Casting: 4.5
The purpose of this drama was to showcase GOT7.  It did just that.  Did it showcase amazing acting talents?  For me, the only one who is worthy of being called an actress in this is the lead actress herself.  The male leads were often cringe worthy when it came to the emotional pieces, and were only enjoyable for me when they were in their happy go lucky characters.  When it came to anything serious, it was difficult to watch.  Even though isn’t supposed to be a serious thing and is completely just fan service, I’m still treating like a drama because that’s what it is supposed to be.

Music: 6.0
If you are a fan of GOT7 music, you would enjoy this.  Of course this is a show starring GOT7 so I wouldn’t hope it would be.  So this my own personal opinion trying to be unbiased.  With the story that they wanted to tell, the music didn’t always quite fit, no matter how hard they tried.  During the funny dance battle scenes it made sense, but during other times it didn’t, for example when Jr. is remembering his former ‘master’ it didn’t quite fit with the mood and made his acting in that moment seem very forced and fake.  So the music was a hit or miss depending on the occasion and the way it was used.

Rewatch Value: 3.0
I find this drama slightly cringe worthy to be honest.  Though it’s my second time viewing, I did enjoy it more the first time around, because it was interesting and different.  The Rewatch value for me has dropped from what it used to be.  But of course if You are fan of GOT7, I feel like you would enjoy this a lot.  This is also just my own personal view.  The episodes are only 15 minutes long and last for 12 episodes, so it's possible to watch this in a couple of hours.

The concept of Dream Knight was better than i expected, watching dramas based around idols you'd notice they tend towards the fan-service of the cast other than the actual story, but Dream Knight did both the fan-service and storyline pretty good, nothing too special but better than other story lines of other idol based dramas.
The first few episodes of this are really just fan-service and mostly lets you have a feel of each character and lets you enjoy these cute/funny (borderline cringey) scenes of got7 only to lead you up a more intense plot-twist that you really don't expect and from there starts to build up into a better story.
Although the ending ended up a good one i couldn't help but feel let down, i would've enjoyed the ending that was supposed to happen, the ending that actually followed the the whole storylines rules, but they just destroyed that by the last scene.. sometimes it's better for endings to be sad, but y'know.

As this is an idol based drama so you can't really fault the characters as they are playing themselves but... Inhyung was played well and wasn't one of those main female actors that continuously ticked you off, which I highly appreciate because it happens a lot in dramas i watched. got7's acting... some of the scenes were awkward but was actually pretty good for a non-professional actor + the story IS based around them and i'm pretty sure everyone watched this just for got7 (including myself) so i don't think it really mattered to some people how got7 acted.
As a drama with your favourite idols... the music has to be good, and it was! Although i didn't pay much attention to the OST of this drama.. the songs from the GOT? album really made each episode enjoyable and knowing the lyrics made my experience with each episode more fun.

BOTTOM LINE: This drama is catered around got7 fans or anyone who really likes dramas with idols. The story is pretty good for a idol cast drama but don't expect an 'it's okay it's love' type affect on you, although the plot twist in the drama caught me unexpected. Expect a lot of laughing, smiling and cringe!

When I started watching this I was hoping for a cute and silly story, some flower boys, lots of eye-candy and fan service for the IGOT7 out there. But what I got was a little twist from my expectations. Dream Knight still had everything I said I was waiting for, but it also got some touching moments.

Considering most of the main characters in this short series are mainly singers and dancers, I didn't expect overwhelming acting, but they did actually pretty well. A little above than just fine, I would say. The lead female, JB, Jackson, Mark and Youngjae actually made me tear up a little bit, which is something few actors and stories can do, so kudos to them. I was sincerely touched by the ending, although I didn't liked it for the same reason I didn't liked the ending of the drama special Pianist (my most recent review after this).

The soundtrack for this drama is composed of just JYPE artists songs, and I like all of them, so there's nothing to complain but nothing special about it either.

Although I don't usually re-watch stuff, I would definitely re-watch Dream Knight because it was cute. It was a little dose of a light story (even with the sad moments). There were obviously some things I would rather they were made in a different way, but overall I can't complain (too much). For a short drama special, it was really good and I really enjoyed it.

For this series, you can't be too harsh. How much can you expect from 15 minute episodes, right? Overall, I really like when new groups do web dramas to introduce themselves to the KPOP world. It gives potential fans the opportunity to meet the individual members and a bit about their personalities.

This small series does exactly that. For someone new to the group GOT7, I had fun getting to know them. The plot was cute, and the element of their 'gifts' was nice. There was a love element, which is nice enough to make a fan's heart pitter patter. It will leave you humming, 'A,' and Min's pink hair will convince you, you can pull off the look.

I think all debuting boy groups be required to have a web series, such as this. Fanservice at it's height! If you are looking for a fun, easy going, short series, this would be a good choice.

this drama is really great for anybody who loves GOT7 which is a KPOP band for those who don't know. this drama is extremely funny because the members of GOT7 are naturally funny. so of course the drama is funny and fits their personalities. this drama doesn't have a really plot to it. but it's mostly meant for the entertainment for GOT7 fans. it is pretty good. and you could learn some of the dance moves from their song A. i actually learned the dance to this song. the music is also good because of course the songs are all written by GOT7. this drama would be entertaining for you if you are a got7 FAN. THIS DRAMA IS ON NETFLIX. WATCH IT BEFORE THEY TAKE IT OFF.

So I am not a huge GOT7 fan and when I started this drama I didn't really even know that was who it was LOL. I watched because it was such a short mini-series and it had a really cute plot line.

Boy was I so happy. Amazingly I would have to say the boys did a really good job acting. Not the best I have ever seen, but for singers this was actually a really cute way to show them off. I also liked that the whole premise was based on the boys being able to sign and dance.

I honestly think this could have just been a movie, it would have made more sense in that format but as it stands I have to say that it was pretty good. It was short, there wasn't a lot of beating around the bush or misunderstanding.

The plot had some holes, but because it was so short the minor plot holes didn't really matter. In the end I have to say that this was better than some full dramas I have watched and if you are a fan of GOT7 or JYJ then this is for you.

If you were deciding between watching EXO Next Door and this drama, don't! Watch both! They are really enjoyable and you can see great budding new actors in play.

They have different feels to them and different types of humor so, it was hard to make a decision on which I like better. EXO Next Door gave me the feeling that a fan girl wrote it, but Dream Knight although it had a lot of fan service as well, did not feel the same way.

It is very hard to talk about Dream Knight just by it self, but I will try to do that for a little bit. Dream Knight is sweet and has two romantic lines running in it. Although, I felt like it did not come through with the second romance at the end.

For I Got7 fans, this drama was a real treat and we enjoyed hearing the Got7 songs the entire drama, except for the occasional 2 PM song. There is a cameo appearance from one 2PM member as well. The fan service from Got7 includes references to Roommate, their music videos and just the members themselves in general. There is even a reference to Big Byung.

My siblings enjoyed this web drama just as much as EXO Next Door, even at times more. But, my family is great fans of Jackson from Got7.

The acting in this drama is awesome, Jinyoung shows off his acting skills and so does JB. There are cute moments by the rest of them.

The plot in general though was more interesting than EXO Next Door. So, you might want to keep that in mind. Bromance in this drama was through the roof as always with Got7.

I encourage you to watch this drama!
