Wild Heroes (2015)

This has to be one of my favorite jdramas in a long time. When I watched it, I would have never thought this drama would finish being subbed because it TOOK forever ( it was only finished this year apparently). This drama was amazing because it wasn't romantic like current mainstream jdramas . I also have a thing for yankee- type dramas because they are so cool~ The plot actually made sense and wasn't half-assed. Plus it kept my interest since they didn't milk the story plot to death like most dramas usually do.The part I enjoyed the most is the fighting( obviously it's a yankee drama) and Hikari being taken. That part seemed like the movie "Taken" with Liam Neeson, but instead of a father, it is five friends saving a girl. The humor wasn't over exaggerated which made the drama more believable. The thing between Hikari and Kiibou kept me wondering if they were planning to have a "relationship" later on. It seem like Kiibou and Hikari were too touchy-feely during the drama. The actors were pretty good especially the main characters, I thought they were all experienced actors since most of them look around late 20's and the actors made the plot believable. I really loved the techno music in this drama because it fit really well to building suspense.

And another Jdrama where the power of friendship saves the day and its message is that you're never wrong believing in people and trusting them. Even when they betray you, you haven't been wrong believing in them because their betrayal was their choice, you did nothing wrong.

Also, another drama featuring the Exile Tribe members. In abundance!

The series was so sweet and funny and cute, though it did have its cringe-worthy moments - their battle cry of Who Are You?! was, well, yeah... just like their heart-to-heart moments during the battle at the end - and the humor was sometimes rather juvenile - it is a drama about 7 guys, so - but overall, I loved it!

I loved that all the main characters were thoroughly fleshed out, every single one of them - like Pii-chan who let his wife buy all kinds of stupid stuff online (which came surprisingly handy during their escapades) because they couldn't have kids, or Mikki who took care of his grandma with Alzheimer, or Choko who lost his parents as a kid (for which he blamed himself) and since then had no regard for his own life - that it didn't feel like they were just extras to Kiibo's main hero. Every one of them felt alive, if you know what I mean?

My main reason for watching it was, of course, Iwata Takanori, who was simply awesome here and his character had so much depth! I loved it!

Also, there was this one particular tune that was just so cool! I fell in loved with it!

Получила от просмотра этого сериала огромное удовольствие. Давненько так не захватывал сюжет и так не проникалась персонажами. Саспенс зашкаливал и сюжетные повороты были так интересны, что палец сам тянулся включить следующую серию, несмотря на какой час ночи был на дворе. Но главная ценность этого сериала - герои. Дружба спаянная годами, дружба, так сказать, с детсадовского горшка и прошедшая огонь, воду и медные трубы.
Сюжет а-ля американские "Последователи" (помните такой сериал с Кевином Бейконом), даже не испортил невнятное объяснение всего в последних двух сериях. Ладно, японцы - такие японцы.
Дружба взрослого мужчины и 10-летней девочки. Их явная любовь, чистая и вечная, выше всякой пошлости, к которой сейчас, увы, прилипает всякая -филия. Все это передано очень здорово, у авторов получилось ничего не уронить и не замарать. Пусть пройдет лет десять и все у них будет хорошо.
