two drama definitely got me tear up as well .... rarely saw drama like this

both has plot twist / unexpected pregnancy ....
both has kids
both a really mellow drama that can make you tear up

Whether it be historical or modern days, both stories depict that first love never dies.

I love the casting, they portrayed their roles very well.

Both are about first loves who got seperated and meet again after many years.

In both dramas one side recognizes the other one first but can't tell the other.
Even after knowing about each other there are many obstacles stopping them from being together (e.g. other partners they got in the meantime), but their story and chemistry makes the viewer root for them to end up together.

Also both dramas have older leads (midthirties?) so for viewers who want to see more mature and not-so-childish romance, this might be good.
(And light spoiler - both have happy endings)

Two lovers separated for years, met each other again. The feelings are strong and they rekindled the romance despite many obstacle facing them.

Both are melodramas that involve first love separated and reunited. Bonus - Park Jin Young is the younger version of the male lead in both dramas!

Personally they give off the same vibe and they are both also definitely a rollercoaster of emotions.

Main characters are separated and find each other again after a long time. We follow their story in the present while learning more about their past and what fate separated them and then brought them together again.

They both have similar vibes (tsq being more tragic). In both dramas the leads meet when they were younger, became friends, and suddenly lost contact. They both meet in the future without realising who they are. The both also have a similar age gap.

A young wild boy meet a girl he wants to protect. They lose the contact and one of them cannot remember anything and will not recognise the once beloved person.
There is also a child and family issues involved.

I watched My Love Eun Dong after I watched She was pretty. It gave me the same goosebumps as She Was Pretty gave me... My Love Eun Dong is really great, but soooo underrated! You should give both a go and you will fall in love with it instantly!
