I am a massive fan of the Garo franchise, and as usual this series has amazing fight choreography, especially for the finale. Inoue Masahiro was amazing as the villain, though some of the other acting was not as great. I did find the pacing to be a bit off, especially in the second half of the series. The supporting character lacked a lot of the charisma of those from 'The One Who Shines in Darkness', and Rian 's character seemed to have devolved slightly. As a series goes it's pretty good especially for the action but I don't feel it matches up to some of the other seasons in the franchise.
Garo - Goldstorm is the latest series in the Garo franchise following the movie of the same name. It's a very good series with a narrative that, in its first arc, can be a bit drawn-out, but then blossoms into a good story with a strong villain (where the actor's overacting actually works in his favor) and very good special effects. The direction is also solid. The main armor that blends with the shadows has a very appealing aesthetic. It's one of the most beautiful armors in Garo. Nothing in this drama is outstanding; it's just good enough. Overall, a good addition to the Garo series.
As usual, the fight scenes are fabulous. It is first time the first time both Makai Knight and Makai Priest become villains. Compare to previous series, the graphic is way better.
