Miri, Mari, Wuri, Duri (1988)

Though the four sisters, Miri, Mari, Wuri, and Duri, lost their parents to a car accident, they live peacefully as they help each other out. But then, tensions start to mount between the four with the appearance of Wuri's biological mother, Mrs. Oh. Mari, who had been working as a hostess to support her sisters, leaves home. She goes to persuade Wuri, who is a nurse at the orphanage. Mari collapses in front of Wuri and she later finds out that she has leukemia. Min Woo, who has returned from abroad, makes Wuri happy. Mari accepts the proposal of Sung Hwan, her doctor. Returning from her honeymoon, Mari confesses her past to Sung Hwan and then breathes her last. Edit Translation
