This movie gave me everything I wanted. A unique, fun-filled story with ADORABLE characters played by exceedingly handsome actors with good music. For many of the Japanese BL films I've seen so far, they seem somewhat low-budget and sort of slow-moving. Not only is this relatively short film not slow, but it practically flies by because it develops so well and one can't get enough of the lead couple. I'll definitely be watching this again a few more times. Good romance and pure love.

Honestly I really wanted to like this movie. I really loved Yashiro's character, I just wanted to hug him and tell him he was beautiful and didn't do anything wrong. He definitely deserved someone better than Momose. He made me cringe and want to strangle him every time he interacted with Yashiro. I really tried to give Momose the benefit of the doubt and say he was just naive, but he crossed so many lines in this short movie idk how anyone can call him endearing or loving. He's creepy as hell. "So what should I do??" How about deal with your own desires and stop trying to manipulate Yashiro? I know Yashiro needed encouragement to feel more confident but Momose was way out of line. The attempted rape scene really made my heart break because Yashiro should not have been apologising and asking for forgiveness for changing his mind.

I really apreciate that the story emphasizes them not being gay. I have seen people criticizing this aspect, but I actually think this is the advantage of the movie. There are so many colors of queer, and it's good that there are a few movies that do not depict just the standard hetero/homo/BL (I am not gay, I just fell for this one guy) relationships. There are hints that Yashiro is transgender, but we do not actually know whether they are not a crossdresser or a genderfluid, or something else on the genderqueer spectrum - and I don't think they as a character know. They probably didn't put a label on themself. And we don't know whether Momose is gay, bisexual, pansexual, or simply fell in love with Yashiro's femininity and takes them as a woman. And again, perhaps they do not know either, yet. It's their time to discover themselves and each other and it's perfectly fine that nothing is strictly defined yet.
Also, yes, Momose's behavior was problematic, but it is not a bad thing to show problematic behavior in a movie. He forced himself on Yashiro, then acknowledged that what he did was wrong, apologized, and tried to better understand his love interest so he could be with them without causing them harm. I liked this aspect of the story, too. Sure, the whole thing could have been handled better, but it's an hour-long movie touching several problematic topics, and I think they did a good job in that amount of time.
The actors did a great job as well in roles of their insecure and impulsive characters confused by their own feelings.
Overally, I found this to be a really sweet love story that's definitely worth watching.

This is one of my favourite movies. I found it a really interesting and watchable treatment of a developing gay relationship between two boys unsure of their sexuality and wanting to explore in the face of the usual prejudice and snide remarks of other adolescent boys in a school. But it also bravely tackled a subject that is even more a minority and sensitive one than gay life - cross-dressing., though it does go beyond merely that theme, so I wouldn't be put off if you're not really into that. It's amazing how this movie managed to pack so much into a short time, showing the far from smooth development of this friendship and relationship without seeming rushed. I thought the actors were completely convincing and came across very well. Researching their other work I'm surprised they haven't done more. Recommended.

this is beyond sweet

first off aggression isn't something to applaud, but both leads r teenagers, that r on uncertain ground - confused about what they want or rather expressing that "want" and getting it fulfilled. its easy making the right decisions when ur a spectator and not got all those hormones bombarding ur every cells, clouding ur judgment.

this deals with two different teens, one who's into cross-dressing and although he has gathered up the courage to do it openly, he isn't ready to get caught by anyone he knows, let alone think about his sexual preference.
Momose on the other hand, might be gay - or bi - but that's beside the point - the point being his discovery of Yashiro in drag, and after the initial shock he is curious, but also turned-on. as he never had a gf or any type of relationship he goes with logic - blindly forging ahead trying to "help" Yashiro be who he is, and also to get him as his gf/bf. he has zero knowhow in the art or romancing Yashiro - or even, on how he should approach him. cause from his perspective if Yashiro is openly walking around in drag, he has made peace with that side of him - Momose for sure has.

but Yashiro hasn't and that's why, they keep "butting heads" - cause in Yashiro's eyes what he is doing is abnormal and perverted (he hates and is ashamed of being this way, but can't stop), so Momose who not only seems "ok" with him being in drag, but want's to "help" him and add being attracted - wanting a relationship. Yashiro chancels all his worry, shame, self-hate and terror onto Momose.
most of this is misunderstanding and miscommunication, but Momose doesn't give-up and his persistence not only in accepting but encouraging Yashiro to be who he is - is what breaks through to Yashiro's fear addled brain..

this was really well made and acted - i loved Momose from start to finish - he the type of person that knows what he wants and doesn't care for society or family, but follows his heart and that is what landed him Momose's acceptance and heart at the end - love!

weird aftermath taste

i was personally curious when i read this has cross dressing tag and i was wondering if the story was going to either be done poorly or amazingly.... sadly, it's the former.

i failed to see the love between the main leads. momose gave off major creepy vibes and i didn't find him likable at all. the way he was pressuring yashiro to dress in women clothing in such a forceful manner and also the sexual assault aha ha ha idk bro but that part just made me pause and try to digest what the heck happened.

the only cute part was momose shopping with yashiro. if that was how their relationship progressed and they had actual proper conversations, i would've believed they loved each other. however, all i see is a guy with a fetish disguised as someone who's helping a person be comfortable about their self.

overall, i'm not rewatching this anytime soon.

Problematic with flawed characters but beautiful. Just not for people who get triggered easily. For me their passion was just amazing on screen. Both the actors played their characters beautifully and Yashiro was the ultimate kawaii character, you watch them struggling.
But what I absolutely loved about this film was it's portrayal of dysphoria which they did with the utmost sensitivity showing how sad it is to feel like you don't belong to the label society has placed on you.
And a lot of people with dysphoria also suffer from an insecurity about the way they look, and they even touched on this.
Even the confusion of liking someone who isn't the gender you're supposed to like, this fiom in my opinion, did it realistically.

Story - A guy figures out his classmate crossdreses and follows him from that point.. many could call this harassment. I did not look upon him negatively because of this, but even if I saw him as having no fault.. there's not much of a plot AT ALL, so I do not understand why people like this.

Cast/Acting/Characters - I have no problem with either actor. They suited their parts fine and acted out the roles well. It's just that the way I'd describe their "love" for eachother is infatuated, fast-paced, and sexual. There is no real development in feelings.. I guess this is fan service which I AM NOT a fan of if it has no STORY.

Music - ??? I never remember music.

Rewatch Value - Never.

Extra - I assume people like this because it involves crossdressing? But I honestly don't care what clothes you wear.. so I have 0 bias towards this or against this. Therefore I think my judgement based on this drama is very rational. I love BL, but I don't like BL without a story or feelings because then it's just meaningless fanservice. Two boys just pressing their bodies onto eachother is not my definition of cute (we need something extra), so sorry.. next!

a love story between two different and beautiful people

Story: The story was a nice one, and taking into account who felt in love with whom, it was a beautiful story about love. What is written in the movie description is right. But it is incomplete. And you need to see the movie to understand that the love story was between two boys, wearing dresses being a plus and not a condition for falling in love. Mamose said this clear in the movie.

Regarding the bed scene, when Mamose lost his control and became aggressive, totally forgetting about Yashiro’s feelings, I agree that it was too much. But also I understand him. This was his first love, he never has been in bed with somebody (as he said), he overreacted and lost his minds. Luckily he managed to stop himself. In this love story he is the pushy one and it seems that all he has in mind are his own thoughts. But, somehow this was good for Yashiro too because , he had to be convinced that there is someone else who likes him when he is wearing dresses and he’s not the only one different…. Taking into account the length of this movie, there was no time to properly court Yashiro, to give him space to react and adapt. The action was as incredible fast for a Japanese movie.

The dynamic between main actors was interesting and sometimes strange but I understood Mamose desperation: he was in love with a boy who was to insecure, shy, acting different depending on what clothes he was wearing, making Mamose confused. And I understood Yashiro’s reactions too: being confused about who he is, not trusting and doubting his feelings, being concerned about what is right or wrong….
I enjoyed the happy ending because it was nice to see the power of acceptance of each other and how both of them made peace with inner self and open themselves to a beautiful love.

Actors: I liked them both. Both were beautiful and their performance was very good. I noticed that in Japanese movies everybody is overreacting: for example, when they laugh sometimes it seems that it is an artificial laugh, forced laugh. Same happened here time to time. Overall, the acting was good and I liked it.

Music: I liked what Mamose was listening. About movie soundtrack I have nothing to say. I just not remember it.

Rewatch : I will watch it again for sure, after a while. I hope that I will find a better version because the quality of the movie I saw was not so good.

Intense yet beautful

This story contained denial, acceptance, love, intensity, joy and sadness. The intensity and chemistry between Yushiro and Momose was insane yet calm...it gave me "I told sunset about you" vibes. The acting was no joke - emotions were portrayed beautifully, expressions were shown perfectly and movement was amazing. The fact that Yoshiro was shy yet brave really intrigued me and Momose's naiveness was humourous yet relatable. Both were not socially comfortable abut being themselves however the strength and love they had broken down the walls of what is apparently "normal". I truly hate the word normal. What is normal? And why does being part of the LGBTQ+ community make you abnormal/different in a bad way/weird. Why must straight be the norm? I really enjoyed this movie. It made me feel so much and I definitely think that Yoshiro looks MAGNIFIECT in that pink dress. Loved it.

I absolutely LOVED this movie! The plot was very interesting and realist and it made it so enjoyable!

ACTING:
The acting was done amazingly, they were great at showing emotion in their expression and words. Also the actors were really cute that they just made me go 'awe'.

MUSIC:
I didn't really pay any attention to the music as I was too deep in the story, but from what I did hear, it was good.

REWATCH:
I will definitely rewatch this and probably very soon!

OVERALL:
Overall the story and actors were amazing and I will absolutely rewatch it. If your interested in a male cross-dresser finding love, this is the movie for you!!

Finding someone to love you when you don't even know yourself

Momose was the best thing to happen to Yashiro. This movie shows how difficult it is to accept when we are different from others and how important it is to have someone eho understands and accept you before you accept yourself. Momo showed Yashiro that he is not wierd or wrong to choose be something other than what society tells him to be. It doesn't matter when he dresses as a guy or a girl, Momo likes him in both his avatar. But he encourages Yashiro to accept himself the way he likes to be and not worry about what others thinks.

Now, yes Momo can be a bit aggressive, but he is a teen who never had a relationship before and doesn't know how to express his love and devotion for Yashiro. He is learning. He even asks Y to tell him how to behave because he doesn't know what is expected oglf him as a boyfriend. He is not a horny teen just looking for a fun time. He is actually attracted to Yashiro as a person. And wants to express his love to him. He comes to strong because On one side he has already accepted that version of Y and Y is still trying to accept both - him dressing as a girl and a guy liking him. Its a lot and needs time to adjust. But if Momo was not strong willed he would not have been able to break down all the insecurities of Yashiro
As some have pointed out that Momo tried to force himself on Y, but He stopped his aggressive behaviour when he saw that Y didn't want it. He was under the impression that it was both sided because Y invited him over. So no I don't think he had any intention of imposing himself on Y. He only thought that he needed to work more to make Y understand his feelings.
This is a very sweet story that shows how important it is to have someone who loves you and acceps you before you even accept yourself and make you fall in love with yourself. Y not only fell in love with Momo but was able to accept his sexuality and lifestyle because he was so naturally and non judgementally loved by Momo.
