a love story between two different and beautiful people

Story: The story was a nice one, and taking into account who felt in love with whom, it was a beautiful story about love. What is written in the movie description is right. But it is incomplete. And you need to see the movie to understand that the love story was between two boys, wearing dresses being a plus and not a condition for falling in love. Mamose said this clear in the movie.

Regarding the bed scene, when Mamose lost his control and became aggressive, totally forgetting about Yashiro’s feelings, I agree that it was too much. But also I understand him. This was his first love, he never has been in bed with somebody (as he said), he overreacted and lost his minds. Luckily he managed to stop himself. In this love story he is the pushy one and it seems that all he has in mind are his own thoughts. But, somehow this was good for Yashiro too because , he had to be convinced that there is someone else who likes him when he is wearing dresses and he’s not the only one different…. Taking into account the length of this movie, there was no time to properly court Yashiro, to give him space to react and adapt. The action was as incredible fast for a Japanese movie.

The dynamic between main actors was interesting and sometimes strange but I understood Mamose desperation: he was in love with a boy who was to insecure, shy, acting different depending on what clothes he was wearing, making Mamose confused. And I understood Yashiro’s reactions too: being confused about who he is, not trusting and doubting his feelings, being concerned about what is right or wrong….
I enjoyed the happy ending because it was nice to see the power of acceptance of each other and how both of them made peace with inner self and open themselves to a beautiful love.

Actors: I liked them both. Both were beautiful and their performance was very good. I noticed that in Japanese movies everybody is overreacting: for example, when they laugh sometimes it seems that it is an artificial laugh, forced laugh. Same happened here time to time. Overall, the acting was good and I liked it.

Music: I liked what Mamose was listening. About movie soundtrack I have nothing to say. I just not remember it.

Rewatch : I will watch it again for sure, after a while. I hope that I will find a better version because the quality of the movie I saw was not so good.

One of the best series I saw this year. Every beginning is hard. But when it's about to changes the people's' way of thinking is harder.
The plot is very interesting and reflects, probably, a harsh reality. There are crazy people in this world, serial criminals, who want only to kill. On the other hand, there are people who can go deep into those criminals' hearts and minds and manage to catch them. It is a very hard job to do and very dangerous. At the beginning nobody knew what a profiler is. And at the end I saw a strong team, officers who managed to change their way of thinking, to understand that a change must be done in their way of working and to adapt themselves to that new reality in order to catch the criminals. A powerful game of minds around a terrifying reality.
I had moments when it was hard for me to watch. So much darkness in those criminal minds! Watching what they've done made my heart tremble.
The script is a masterpiece. I had not even a single moment of boredom watching this series.

Acting/Casting: There is not much to say. They were wonderful! I hated all the criminals and I loved all the officers. That means all the actors did an excellent job! With a script like that their acting was almost perfect!

Music: It was according with the plot. And it fit perfectly.

Rewatch value: I will re-watch it for sure, but not right now. There are so many good ideas I want to re-watch. Human psychology is something that I like and this movie shows plenty.

Overall: This series is not for everybody. It's not a light series. But if you want to see something that challenge your mind and heart, do it! You will not feel sorry! Guaranteed!

IT'S PURE AND SIMPLE PERFECT

This is a wonderful movie. It covers the most important aspects of human beings life and it’s presenting a story which is valid for all of us and not only for gay people.
I didn’t want to read the other’s reviews because I didn’t want to let myself influenced by what they’ve wrote.

STORY/ACTORS: Both main characters have a very sad past, have their own trauma.
Karl lived his dead brother’s life. He was wearing even his name; he inherited his clothes, toys and lived to fulfil his brother’s dream. This is very sad also for Karl’s parents who had the wakening to reality shock when Vlad told them that he wants to change what he is studying because what he is doing is not making him happy, it’s not his dream but it is his parents dream, his brother’s dream. I wonder if the screenwriter will continue to write about Karl’s parents in the next series, if it will be one. Living that life Karl had no chance to discover himself. But he met Vlad and things started to move in a direction which took him by surprise. The script is fantastic and it showed us what was in his heart, what he was thinking, who he felt. Amazing!

Vlad has another kind of trauma: he thinks that he is the reason why his father abandoned their family. He didn’t have his sister support and understanding, and his mother, as much as I could understand, was almost an invisible person in his life and she didn’t (probable didn’t know how to) support him. Although he is a grown up man, fully aware of what he is, living in an open space proud of how he is, nobody can touch his hair: the last one who did it was his father in that very day when he left his family and disappeared. Even he is strong young man who succeed to move further, to find his way in life, he is a sensible person who needs to be loved and express his love freely.
It is said that our childhood influence our lives. This is a very sad example of how the parents can hurt their children unintentional. It is said that if a person is hurting you, this is because this person is in pain. And this is very true.
All the supporting characters completed the picture of Karl and Vlad lifes in a way that made me speechless.

Karl’s uncle, Santi, is a successful person from professional point of view and regarding to his personal life he said it so beautiful: I choose to love! Life without love is an empty one. And he knows that. “Why love is never enough” he said in one moment. Being betrayed by his boyfriend, having his heart full of sorrow, he still managed to smile and to see the positive part of his life. He is a living lesson of what does it means to live the life open, to be proud of what you are, to love with all your heart and to be able to see the positive part of live even when you are hurt.
The dialog between him and Karl is priceless. What he told to Vlad was also so true and so beautiful!
Judit, Vlad’s sister: at the beginning she was annoying me a lot. She was trying too much. She was too much. She is a very good example of what a straight person might do when encounter a gay person: she didn’t know how to act, what to do, what to feel. She was young and she made mistakes which followed her all her life. She lived with this guilt all her life and she became overprotective to compensate this. I felt so sorry for her. She was loving Karl so much and she was trying to do her best all her life. The discussion between her and Vlad cleared up everything and made me understand what was in her heart, how much pain and guilt she was carrying all those years.
Anna – as individual with her own story, I found her truly amazing. She is a beautiful woman, a good mother and a wonderful person. She can be, for Karl and Vlad, an example of how they should treasure their own life, how they should never give up on themselves. And this is one of the most important things in life: to don’t give up of yourself, put yourself on the first place, take care of you as best as you can because when you do that and you will be happy and all the people around you will be happy.
Karl’s parents – I wrote about them before. What a painful life they had! So painful that they don’t even realised what they have done to Karl. Very very sad!

Each episode ended with a representative text which covers, in some words, what happened each of them:
1. We will take back our story. To a happy beginning!
2. Let’s make room for those who’ve lost their sense of home.
3. You have a place here.
4. When solitude teaches you something, embrace it.
5. Make up for lost moments. All fears are invitations to be brave.
6. You are entitled to a love that lets you dance without fear and shame.
The dialog from the end of part 6 melted my heart.
“Karl: Vlad, I want to write films. I want to have a story I can call my own. How about you?
Vlad: Same. But I want to be in charge of the ending, too.
7. You own the rights to your own truth.
8. The real fight is on the outside. We will welcome you when you’re ready.
Till we meet again.

The script is amazing and the how the actors played was unbelievable! I felt the chemistry between all of them all the time and this was truly wonderful. I’m overwhelmed!

MUSIC: I saw a lot of movies but I never search for the songs as did now. The soundtrack is beautiful and I was glad that the lyrics were translated too. Very beautiful songs!

REWATCH: This is the second time when I watch this series. And it had a bigger impact watching it again. I really hope that they will make another series to continue the story because there still al lot to say. It would be wonderful to see them growing up together, accepting and loving each other and being happy together.

the happiness is where you don't expect it

I wondered if I would have liked the movie as much as I did if the actors hadn't been so beautiful. And the answer is YES! From minute 1:20 I started to smile!
I will also borrow a bicycle maybe, if I fall off too, I will find such happiness (LOL).
The story is a wonderful one and the idea that you can find happiness when you don't expect it is a perfectly valid idea.
The actors played WONDERFUL!
The instant chemistry between Dongsu and Inpyo impressed me a lot. From the first glance to the end, everything was pure chemistry. I like to think that they are either friends in real life or they are excellent actors. Or both. It is said that the age difference does not matter when you love. And this movie proved it.
Sangbae also played excellent. In his case I felt a different kind of chemistry. The one generated by understanding and accepting the situation. He understood and accepted the relationship between Dongsu and Inpyo and he was happy for them. He played wonderfully and in all the scenes where he appeared he did a wonderful job!
I have only one problem: the movie was too short. It was long enough for the existing scenario, but it was so beautiful and it made me feel so good that I would have liked to continue.
Oh, and let's not forget! The landscape was unbelievable beautiful!
I finished the movie smiling and I'm still smiling.
About the music: This movie is that kind of movie where the music is not needed. That's way I rated 9.5.
THANK YOU !

Wonderful movie !!!!

Excellent movie!
STORY: A film in which the meaning of the action is so subtle that you can pass the moment without understanding anything if you are not careful. A film full of interesting and beautiful moments. The story is a classic one, common (at least for me), but the way it was told is a very interesting one, beautiful. The action seems to drag on, but I think this was intentional: in each episode something new happens, new elements appear, the fact that their thoughts are presented helps a lot in shaping the action and the characters. At first I didn't feel the chemistry between the characters. Maybe only when Yabuki was smiling or laughing. I didn't understand Kakei from the beginning, so it was hard for me to understand the dynamics between them. But things clear up and with each episode watched the chemistry amplifies, grows so that in the end it becomes one that I can understand and feel. Wonderful way to present the evolution of these feelings
In three words: the script is wonderful!
I think I gained 2 kg just by looking at the food they were cooking. LOL.

ACTING:
Yabuki Kenji (Uchino Seiyou)
I always laughed at his reactions when he was eating. If I would have sat with such a person at the table, I would have not be able to stop eating. The character, feminine through gestures, was a sensitive, emotional, but profound one. There are moments of conversation in which he seemed to be a different person. Wonderful and warm heart!
Uchino Seiyou played exceptionally well! So well that I would really like to have a friend like him in my everyday life.

Kakei Shiro / Nishijima Hidetoshi
I didn't understand him at the beginning. But the character is shaped with each episode till the end when the weight that he was carried all his life on his shoulders (as his father said at one moment), seemed to be lifted up.
Nishijima Hidetoshi played exceptionally well too. And at the moments when he smiled, he was really beautiful.

The supporting actors did a great acting too. I liked them all. They fitted perfectly in the story plot!

MUSIC: SO SORRY.....but I don't know what to say about it. I don't remember any song. The story was more about the inner self, which is why it didn't really matter what the soundtrack was like. Sometimes the silent was much louder than any kind of music. And this was another part of the movie I liked a lot !

REWATCH VALUE: For sure I will rewatch this. I'm sure I didn't really understand everything. So, when I will have time, I will watch it again. Wonderful movie!

it could have been better if the script was written differently....

Story: the story is a good one.
The way the script is written is another story: bottom line, when the plot really started, the movie ended! I don't know why in every Japanese movie I've watched was a big drama, there was damaged people, and the moments of happiness seemed unreal! For me, the movie seemed like a line of events, somehow separated form each other, they were lost in details that could have been compressed easily in less then half of hour. There was no time to get into detail of the main story, the love between them.
The thing that I liked were the quotes. Were so many and they completed and explained the story line.
For example: "Wherever is one of us, the other is present" or " The moment one begins to love another is when life really starts. "
The very last quote said it all and explained the ending: "If somebody asks why I loved he way I did I'll answer hat both of us were authentic. That is my only answer" (Montaigne).
It could have been a great movie, but the one who wrote the script didn't do a good job.

Acting/Cast: Both main actors were really beautiful! It was a pleasure to watch them. Taking into account that they were 24 and 25 years' old, their acting was ok, not very impresive, as it should be at the beginning of the acting career. Only one or two scenes impressed me; I felt their chemistry, their emotions. It is true that a good actor can play everything. But also is true that always the script is the one which offers to the actors the opportunity to show their value. This wasn't the case here.

Music: To be honest, I don't know what to say about music. There was moments when I liked it, but there was nothing to impress me.

Rewatch: I will never rewatch it. The ending took me by surprise and made me cry even if I understand their idea. It could have been different ending, not necessarily a happy one, but just different.
I need to watch a comedy now......fast!

sweet and funny movie

A funny and cute movie. The story is sweet and somehow original. A playboy who is a playboy because of some personal problems and not because this is how he wants to be, another young man who seeks for love and not just sex. And both main actors are surrounded by very good friends, each one different and funny in their one way.
It is a love story, a story about true friendship presented in a funny and sweet way. I liked it.

The story is a nice one, the main actors did a great job. The chemistry between the leaders is there and it makes them real and beautiful.
The supporting actors were very very funny. There is also another kind of chemistry , the one as it should be between very good friends. I smiled almost the entire movie.
I don'k know why the music was so loud sometimes that I wasn't able to here the actors's voices. But overall it was ok.

I would have liked to see more of the main actors interaction, but it seems that the script is different from what I wanted. Maybe this is just because the writer wanted to present in more detail their lives before they get to know each other and fall in love.

A nice movie worth watching.

a well written story of a life, lived by two young man

I never wrote a review for a movie. I'm not a Bl movie expert, I've just seen some of them.
It is the first movie when I don't miss the intimate scenes. The story of each man is so natural, full with everything that life offers: happiness, bitterness, doubts, questions, insecurity, soul's scars, love, curiosity, sometimes a bit of naivety.
I loved watch them, how they interacted, I loved reading their thoughts. The supporting actors did also a great job by adding more information the main characters's life.
Both main actors are beautiful, the chemistry between them is wonderful and it gives to the characters more life, it makes them real.
The story is a beautiful one , well anchored in real life.
About the music, it didn't impress me so I can write about it. But this may be because I really enjoy the story, so I didn't pay attention to the music.
And, for me, the ending was the perfect one!
Bottom line - It is a good movie worth watching.

Very nice movie!

A very nice movie!
The low quality of the film and the bad sound almost made me give up. But I read the reviews and I didn't give up. And I'm very happy.
The film consists in a series of scenes, filmed separately, but related to each other. The one who had the idea to link and explain the filmed scenes at the end was very inspired. I loved the ending!!
I really liked the restaurant scene, when the chosen way to communicate was to write messages on those cards. Any way to communicate is better than nothing and when you can't talk, it's better to write. It was romantic, cute, full of emotions. And the actors really played wonderful this scene. In fact, they all did a good job.
The music was fantastically good! It totally surprised me!
I really liked the movie and I will definitely watch it again when I will want a dose of youth, well-being, beautiful people and love.
There are also outtakes during/after the credit roll. I would have liked to have a translation here too. But I still enjoyed watching them.

Wonderful movie!

STORY: In a world where the competition rules, working hard and a lot is the only way to be successful. But sometimes (or, to be more correct, many times) this way of working (and if there is also a violent boss) it can be too much. Then, the exhaustion leads the life and the only option is suicide. To end all. The movie is about Aoyoma who finds himself in this situation. He is helped by Yamamoto. And from that moment the story starts. It is a fantastic beautiful story about healing their souls, one for each other, finding the motivation to move forward and finding the happiness. The end made me cry. I was so emotional…..
Narushima Izuro, the one who wrote the script, did an excellent job! The dialogues were perfect. Even the silence was perfect!

ACTING: Everybody did an excellent job! EVERYBODY! Mai actors, support actors – all!
Every scene was very well played. I laughed a lot! I cried! I felt so much due to their acting. Was pure and simple wonderful. A good script can save the actor. Here, both were very good. I can’t ask anything more!

MUSIC:: It was good for this kind of movie. But what is still in my mind is the song from the end. Perfect song! I love it!

RE-WATCH VALUE/ OVERALL: It was a fantastic movie, it moved my heart. The plot was consistent, well written and spoken and how they manage to save each other, how they manage to repair their souls and move further was overwhelming. I will let some time to pass and then I will watch it again and I am sure I will like it again!

one of the best series I ever watched

I watched both series and both were great!

Story: The story is an interesting one and covers a lot of the aspects of a gay's life / gay's couples.
I was glad that the movies didn't approach to much the usual theme of how the gay people are rejected by their family and society. To see how they evolved, how they manage to deal with their fears, how they've change in order to move forward, how they fight to keep they relationships and how they enjoyed life. Sadness, happiness, insecurity, love, infidelity, too low or too high self esteem, faithfulness and so on - you can see so many aspects of the human life and they are presented in a very realistic way, beautiful even when it was about broken heart.
I love it!

Acting: They played beautiful! All of them, even the supporting actors. I loved them all. I can mention each of them, but I don't see the point. See the series! For me, they were great and they took me into their world and made me feel what they felt and, what is most important, made me think a lot about this kind of life. Excelent job!

Music: It was great! Combining different types of songs, from different areas, was perfect. I didn't understand the lyrics (except the songs in English) but somehow I didn't feel the need to understand. The melodies were perfect ones for each moments. I really loved them!

Rewatch: I started seeing this without having much expectations. And I was wrong! I will rewatch it after a while and I'm sure that I will discover more interesting aspects and I will like it again.

a serie with good moments , drama moments and funny moments

The plot is well described above.
It's about how one guy manages to sneak into the other man's soul so deep and beautiful.

ACTING/CAST: At first I didn't like Maiding very much. It was very pushy and annoying, but somehow in a sweet, innocent, hilarious way. He managed to break the An Zi Yan's walls and he went deep into his heart. I think that was the only way to touch An Zi Yan's heart, the seemingly cold, distant and bad guy.
From this point of view I consider him an excelent actor. He manage to annoy me so much so he really did a great job!
Both main actors are beautiful, different but beautiful in their own way and being different makes them perfect as a couple.
The dynamic between them is as it should be: a cold, dominant character and another one - warm, chaotic and insecure.
I liked the intimate scenes between them, so natural, sweet and soft. The chemistry was there and An Zi Yan's smile add a plus of warmth.
Both actors did a great job and I like them very much!!
As alway there are people against this kind of love. And, as in every BL movie I know, they are, for me, ugly and desperate type of humans.
Overall, the cast is the right one and the support actors did a good job too. I liked Maiding's roommate too and his part in this romance is important by supporting and helping Maiding a lot. Great job too!

MUSIC: The music impressed me very much. I don't remember watching a BL movie and be impressed by the soundtrack. This one is memorable! In some moments I thought I didn't hear it properly. It took me by suprise! I love it!

I saved this serie in my list and I will rewatch it for sure!

a underrated good movie

First I watched the Boys Love movie from 2006 and now this one. The movies are not connected.

Story: the story was very good. The script is better than the previous movie. There was scenes very intense and the actors played wonderful.
The story is more complex than is presented in the description above . Form my point of view, all the supporting actors were, somehow, main actors, because in their acting moments what they did was very important for the story.
I consider the ending sad but a good one. The ending quote was very important: "To love, to be loved, that's all. That is the rule. That is why we exist. A person who find comfort in love is afraid of nothing ".
They had the quotes like they did in Boys Love and I liked very much.
"When you go to bed, the person who is looking forward to tomorrow is a happy person" - is one example!

Acting/Cast: I was glad to see Kotani Yoshikazu again. He is really beautiful and he played wonderful. All the actors were very young at that time, without experience, but they did a good job. There were moments when I consider their acting wonderful and they portrayed their characters very well. I felt the chemistry between the characters (good or bad chemistry) and this was great and it was something that was missing in the first movie. Overall, there was a big progress and I like this movie more.

Music: The volume was sometimes horrible loud ! There was moments when I had to reduce the volume till that point I couldn't hear the actors speaking. Instrumental music, classic music - not bad, but to loud.

Rewatch: Maybe sometime in the future... the movie was a drama and the sorrow moments were too many for my taste. But it was a good movie and If you can detached yourself form the characters, from the story and manage to think that is only a movie, watch it.
