-Story
I didn't find it to be quite unique, but still enjoyable. Some parts were just plain funny, whereas some were passionate(-y). The story, I have to say, isn't something new. I mean, a girl runs into a popular guy who turns out to be cold, he opens up to her, etc., etc. but also with a twist of competition between Kyu Won & Hee Joo, to see who gets the main role. Although, Hee Joo's story was something that I wish they delved closer in. Maybe it's just that I can partially relate to her, eh, who knows?
-Acting/Cast
I'd say they the cast did a pretty good job acting! I especially liked in one of the later episodes when Shin told Kyu Won not to go, it's just the emotion put into it. The acting wasn't 'stiff' or had the sense of "I. AM. READING. OFF. SCRIPT."
-Music
It's a musical drama, the music has to be good, right? Well it is! "The Stupid"'s music performance was lovely, as was the singing of Kyu Won (Shin Hye) and Hee Joo (Woo Ri), not to mention the traditional music! I don't play an instrument nor know much about traditional Korean music so I can't go all critical on it.
-Rewatch value
It's a good drama, I'll admit, but not good enough for me to say that I'm going to watch this all my life.
-Overall
If you want a funny, musical drama with a love story in it, this is a great drama to choose. Also, if you're a fan of kpop, 2 of CN Blue's members are in here. I watched this with my friends (1 of them kept interrupting, "Why is she asking what talent is?! Duh, you're a teacher you're suppose to know!"...see what I have to live with?) and it made us laugh and ask ourselves, "what's going to happen now...?"

The story line at first looked interesting but then fell downhill pretty fast...It became predictable which i really hate in a drama.
The kissing scenes were really bad...
The acting of Yonghwa was better in You are Beautiful in my opinion...
The romance was weak, the story was weak, overall,I dont really recommend it when there are plenty of amazing dramas out there...

The story basically is about 2 students of the same university, from two different departments, different interests, different family backgrounds only with the same passion, music.
The first two episodes, were boring. The pace got faster from the 3 to the middle part but that was it. The climax failed to hold my interest. Probably because, the actors' acting and storyline. Just imagine riding a roller coaster and in the climactic part you got stuck and all you have to do is get off of the cart and climb down.
The main lead actor was ever conscious of his looks..His expressions seemed to play from sad to happy. While the female lead's usual sunny personality still can be seen in this drama. It's like playing the part of Park Shin Hye by herself.
However, I must commend the cinematic views of this drama. One can feel relaxed by watching the play of pictures in his TV screen.
Music is another, they were great.

It was very nice to watch him go from being cold and rude to warm and open hearted. The transformations within this drama are beautiful and heart warming. It was lovely watching old romances being rekindled and unlikely romances happening. It is all about deciding your own path and finding happiness. However, it’s not all love and sunshine. There is death, tragedy and plot twists that make you want to yell at your screen. At one point I had to stop watching for a few hours because of how intense it is.
While the story was amazing and flowed beautifully, it ended really weird. I don’t even know how to explain it. One moment everything seems messed up and then the next you’re like, “what just happened?” because you don’t even know how to explain what you saw. I don’t even know how to tell you.
Music: Probably the best music I’ve ever heard, seriously. Because this takes place at an art school everyone has musical talent and there is always some type of music playing. The singing was great but I think the best music was all the traditional music that was played. They put a slightly modern spin on it, not to mention there are times when it is played with guitars and it sounds breath taking. I own the OST not to mention I found a bunch of songs ripped directly from the show because they were that good.
Cast/Acting: I know most people ship the two main characters together first. And I do ship Park with Jung, but they weren’t my favorite couple. I liked Yeo Joon-Hee (who is played by the drummer of C.N.Blue) with Han Hee-Joo, who was an attention seeking whore determined to be in the spot light no matter what. I hated her so much at times but Joon-Hee was so sweet with her and romantic. The way he was with her, it was so sincere.
Every one did such a good job with their characters. So much that at times you literally hate them or cry.

I struggled getting through the first episodes. They dragged and a lot of time was wasted with Shin's schoolboy crush on the dance professor. It started picking up, but then as soon the leads officially got together, it got dull again. It was the very last few episodes that made the earlier ones just about worth it.
There were characters I felt they spent too much time with and then there were characters I didn't get nearly enough of (the singer with stage fright, for example). Also, the secondary romance between Hee Joo and Joon Hee was more interesting than the main (imo, it would have made for a better drama if it HAD been the main).
This drama had many, many problems, but for a person going in with low expectations, it was fairly fun to watch. It's really not half bad, but certainly no "must-see" by any stretch of the imagination. If you're bored and sick (which is what got me to finally finish it) it's not a bad watch, but you really won't miss much if you just download the amazing soundtrack.

İt was nice to see that in drama characters can fell in love without big problems. As for the actors: Yeah the main lead is not the best actor, he still acted well enough in this drama. Park Shin Hye is cute and adorable and fits in her role. The other side characters are all nice and quite believable, not like side characters in other dramas. İf you want to watch a drama that makes you feel nice this drama is the right thing. Don't expected too much, but at least the music is worth the watch.

Old-School Entertainment at its Finest
I originally rated this an 8, but this is also the first drama that I have not rated a 10 that I chose to re-watch so I figured I should up the score a bit.The quality of the production and acting in this drama is there to remind us of how far the industry has come over the years as the lighting is awful, most of the acting is mediocre and the characters are very stereotypical but oh do I love this.
I admit it i am a sucker for dramas where the OST is part of the plot and preformed by the leads, repetitive with slight variation as it may be it just hits differently than when it is simply part of the background and yes I fall for it every time!
Our male lead is a total jerk goes softie, he has a bunch if flags and pretty much makes every single wrong choice in the book of cliches. He is so far from being boyfriend material (handsome and talented as he may be) and the relationship is rather a manual to how not to behave in a relationship. He completely lacks verbal communication-skills and rater use wrist grab as his got to form of communication. The guy also seems to have some kind of ankle obsession, as all a girl has to do is twist her ankle and he will fall for her every time. But I love it, I really do!
The female lead is short tempered, childish, stubborn, and kind of pathetic at times. She is however still lovable, pretty and talented she has great friends and does have a way with words as well as the language of falling on to the lead.
I did not notice them the first time (as I was new to dramaland) but Im Se Mi and Kang Min Hyuk are also in this drama, and while their characters where ill fitted for them they did shine and annoy at the same time I honestly think I developed a love-hate relationship to those two.
So if you are in the mood for some old-school drama with a bunch of old-school cliches and a lot of fun music this is one of THE best places to find it. It will not blow your mind but it is sure to keep you entertained.
If you are looking for good quality stuff, with green flag leads etc... then this is not the place to find it.
