Dramas about young adults with career and dating issues or just youngsters living life figuring out their future plans while hanging out with friends. Both dramas have somehow stand out from the rest and out of recent dramas these are the ones I've enjoyed watching. Also in both dramas the charachters (cute punk and curly haired woman) look a bit similar from the outside and perhaps behaviour too. I think both are realistic human dramas meaning no silly comedy or supernatural stuff.

Just like Cheese in the trap, Trap is a college drama that relates to real life college students. This is a very short drama you can watch in your free time and complete in a day

Young adults dating. Has rich guy, poor girl theme. Hate turns into love. The Chinese drama is a bit more funnier comedy in the beginning but turns into a serious drama later. Love both very much. Hey, and the Korean drama's mail lead acts in a few Chinese dramas so that can be a connecting click between these dramas. >_< Anyway, feel good dramas I'd say.

They are based off the same webtoon by the same name, cheese in the trap. Tip: I searched everywhere for this movie and found it on Amazon Prime.

It kept me guessing a lot, and I loved seeing the relationships slowly unfold throughout! They're both very well-acted, and I just loved both these series!

Both revolve around studying and education. Drinking solo focuses on the teachers romance whereas cheese in the trap revolves around students and student life issues

Ok, these are clearly nothing alike. But after watching SHR, I wanted something with a questionably crazy male lead. Yoo Jung reminded me of Wang So because neither are the typical "jerks," but they are not really nice guys either and they both make me wonder if either is really sane lol. And they kind of treat the girl the same way.
And both have the same combination of romance with a bit of suspence and an open ending.

Both dramas have a romance façade, but are truly about societal and psychological issues. There's moral grayness all around.

The love triangle is prevalent in both.

Both of these drama are education and love related in a school/university. Somehow, the whole "being the student on top" thing was quite common in both of these series and showed the ugly side of the Korean education system, how feisty the students can become for good marks.

If you like School based dramas, then SKK scandal is one.... There's really lessons to learn... This is just on a historical setting... But the thrill & humor is the same.... You wont even notice that you're watching a historical.... Hilarious comedy as well...

The male leads are pretty similar in how they like peculiar things and the way they lookout for the female leads while tying to hide their feelings lol

Female leads have thick wavy hair and dress in their own style
Takes place in school
Male lead is popular for looks and personality
Second male lead and first male lead have issues surrounding family
