A drama of TWISTS and TURNS! Definitely for those who love mind-boggling dramas and those who love to take guesses. While watching, you can't help but contemplate about this: "Are monsters created, or are humans born monsters?"

This drama has a really unique plot. This would make you realize a lot of things about humans' real nature. It depicts how past events can greatly affect one's thinking and behavior. There are lot of unpredictable scenes. But on the later part, it might be kind of very confusing but it was sort of cleared up before the ending. It's very very unpredictable til the end. Brace for it!

The cast were great. Their acting was sort of convincing. Each of them were suitable for their roles. Well, I must admit, there are lot of eye candies (kekeke) but they have REALLY performed a great job. *claps*

Music suited the scenes, it added an extra effect to the thrill. Hmmm, rewatch value, I think, I wouldn't want to rewatch this (maybe after some years, I'll try) since the excitement and thrill would be lessened since I would know how everything would turn out...

Definitely this is worth the watch... Must-see!

What I'm thinking right now is WHAT THE HELL I'VE JUST WATCHED? Why there's no any other drama like this one?! The most psychological mind game control drama ever. And what's all with that music? This drama climbed to my first place of the best OST's ever in the whole dramaland. Until this moment it was Soulmate with best music but WC definitely surpassed it. I don't know about the others but music is for me like the air I breathe and I'm never without it so I always pay every little attention to the music in dramas and in life generally. And when I heard in this drama my favourite group Massive Attack, then Alice in Chains, DJ Krush, AC/DC, Suede and many other bands that I adore, I was so excited and happy and it made me love this drama even more. Especially with Yoon Su's theme, DJ Krush's "Song 2", a true masterpiece. I could write all day about the music in this show but this should be enough.

As for the acting, I knew all of them from other dramas and honestly loved the most of them and respected them as actors. Although you could see that in this drama they were young and for many of them it was a beginning into the world of famous people and the whole Korean cinematography, also you could see after the watching this drama that they were fantastic. Literally. All of them. I mean, they are idol boys, they are models, I was fascinated that in only one drama I get to see the guys who were tall, all of them and all of them were, well and still are, pretty much a great looking young men. And despite that they deliberated us amazing performance of the all characters and showed us that they know how to play and act. If I have to pick my favourite character, well that would be Choi Chi Hoon- he was the smartest one no doubt, always with a cool head and cold thinking but very good friend, he was brilliant and also Sung Joon is my favourite amongst them, I just adore that actor. Of course Kang Mi Reu was my second one favourite, he was a true hero and a bad ass man! As for the rest of the characters, everyone was great and had their own role and purpose, everyone was important equally.
Twisted, dark, psycho, mystery, thriller drama with a perfect cast and the story about young people with many problems in their minds who were in some hand abandoned by the others and put in the biggest psychological test with a serial killer crazy man. Oh, I loved this show so much, I just feel empty now. ;-)
The only part I find a little bit predictable is that you can easily see after the episode 4 who were the main culprits and the part about that 7 strong men couldn't bring down one man with a gun. But it was well done after that so that little mistake wasn't important in the end.
And about the end, definitely THE MOST MEMORABLE ENDING EVER, it became my favourite ending part in some drama, I was so thrilled and satisfied in the end and for sure the ending scene had a big part in it why this show has such a high score, no doubt that it wouldn't be the same without that perfect end.
I will stop now and go to listen the whole ost and all of the songs in this show which is with a reason one of the strongest, greatly done dramas ever in the history of dramas. They should really make more dramas like this one, it's a pity for the rest of us who truly enjoy more in this kind of plot and story.

This drama overwhelms me in a good way! My best friend recommended me this drama since I love psychological thrillers. It kept me on my feet and at times, I had to rewind back to closely read the subtitles while figuring what's going to happen next. There are many lessons to be learned in this show and undoubtly, this show is an unexpected jem that I came across. No moment in this show made me feel like a certain scene was completely unnecessary and must be taken out.

The excitement that the show has produced for me has taken me to the next level of psychological dramas. I definitely would re-watch several times just to intake the amazingness of the drama. The cast, the soundtrack, and the fast-paced story all melts well together. If you're seeking for a thriller that allows to think consistently and make you guess what will happen next, this show must be for you. The emotions that were played out moved me to the point where I believed that these events actually happened in real life and was loosely based of a true story.

I cannot compare this drama to anything that I've seen before. On the whole, the best part were figuring the reasons for the student actions based on the student childhood and background. This thought-provoking psychological thriller is a-must see and should not be overlooked.

Film and television rarely take teenagers seriously. They’re treated as naïve innocents or hormonally crazed lunatics or slotted into a handful of predictable stereotypes (the jock, the geek, the prom queen). What I appreciated most about the writer of White Christmas was her willingness to make her adolescent characters smart, complicated individuals. She captures the emotional intensity of the age without ever losing sight of the intellectual growth that accompanies it. These young people may not always act wisely but they don’t act thoughtlessly. She also captures youth’s unique combination of idealism and cruelty, that odd result of too much knowledge and too little experience. It is hard to judge the cost of anything until you have lived long enough to lose it.

While I found the characters compelling, the narrative structure was bumpy at times. The first several episodes felt taut, chilling and inevitable, but things got rougher in the second half, with builds that didn’t quite pan out and plot holes large enough to drive a killer truck through. Also, for all the inherent darkness of the premise, the writer seemed hesitant to poke around in its more controversial corners. There was a lot of odd sexual innuendo that never really went anywhere (unless we’re supposed to read popping champagne corks as metaphors for other types of explosions), and while I’m glad the show didn’t go the slasher film route, really raising the physical stakes instead of simply pretending to would have heightened the psychological stakes as well. Some of this may have been producer-imposed censorship given the age of most of the characters, but it felt a bit safe in the context of the story. Finally, the philosophical questions about the “making” of monsters seemed rather academic when exploring what one does when actually confronting a monster. Choosing to do evil in a vacuum is a very different thing from making morally problematic choices when someone is actively trying to destroy you.

Despite these issues though, the show remains a beautifully filmed, haunting piece that’s at its best when it’s exploring the hidden strengths and horrors of the adolescent mind. Its young cast brings varied skill levels to the table, but their schemes, betrayals, alliances and desires are fascinating to watch.

This is it!
No, I'm not talking about MJ's last concert, I'm talking about 'White Christmas'.

While watching Kdrama's, you will face a situation when you'll think you've reached your limit, they can't do anything new for you anymore......you have three apparent course of action: stop watching kdramas, wait a while then start again(though there's nothing new, it still is pretty awesome) or re watch your old faves.

There's a new path people, you should watch "White Christmas". It got me out of my slump. I'm not saying there isn't any old cliches, but it's bold enough to shade them with newer approach. The center cast list is longer than any regular kdrama but there isn't any nagging omonim, hymonim or bunch of stupid friends/neighbors.

Read other reviews for more detailed infos, I'm just sharing my overall experience.
plus they had "Clash" and "Arcade Fire" on their OST, pretty impressive for a kdrama, ne?

This drama absolutely blew me away, the psychological aspect was just amazing!
It was not very predictable and always had me trying to guess what would happen next. I love it when shows have me involved and trying to guess what will happen. It completely had me pulled in, I didn't want to put it down (I had to because I started watching it really late though). The story is not one you see everyday as well and I am sad that I haven't come across a drama like this before.
The acting was extremely professional, I am happy with the actors performance. In the drama you see how all the characters begin to change and see sides of them you didn't know they had.
I really enjoyed the music but I would like to know why Brittney spears song 'Toxic' was the ending theme. I did not understand that at all and it really didn't fit...
I might rewatch this in the future just to experience it all over again. This is now one of my favorite dramas, and if you give it a chance, it might become one of yours as well.

There are no words for how much I loved "White Christmas". My expectations before watching this were already fairly high, but this drama somehow managed to go beyond them.
Story: Are monsters born or made? This is the driving question behind the story, and this question is the catalyst for everything that happens. Many dramas and movies have attempted to answer this question, but none of the ones I've seen have satisfied me like this one. In the first three episodes, the narrator keeps saying that they had to become monsters to fight the monster, but there wasn't much going on in that front. All the main parts of the show take place after episode 3.
I loved how all the characters were fleshed out- that they were all similar but all different at the same time. They became real people to me as I watched the show, and reacted to each situation in a way that both agreed with their personality, and still showed their transformation into monsters.
Acting: The cast was all new, but their performances were stellar.
Music: The music befit the show- dark and dramatic at times, loud and angry at others. I particularly enjoyed when they played the same song (sorry guys, I couldn't find the name) during all the dramatic scenes.
Rewatch Value: The whole reason I liked the show was because it was unpredictable and unafraid to venture into the deepest parts of itself to answer the question. If I already knew what was going to happen beforehand. the show would have been kind of boring.
Overall: Brilliant directing, superb cast and a thought-provoking story. The last episode has a plot hole, but I didn't feel like that affected the story overall.

There hasn't been a drama quite like this one in my long journey with Korean dramas. The deep psychoanalysis of love, hate, fear, trust, betrayal, and most importantly: is evil bred or innate?

This drama constantly questions nature vs nurture of evil in this drama and gives multiple answers. I like how the drama is able to keep this question relatively open ended and leaves the answer for the audience to choose.

The storyline is very well written. I absolutely love almost all the inner monologues spoken by the characters. Notably, there is really no "minor" character. Each character in the cast has their own back story. Despite only having eight episodes, almost all the characters in the cast were fleshed out and their inner psyche fully explored. I have to give the writer props for being able to maintain such a large main cast while still being able to develop all of them so well.

Overall, definitely give this drama a go if you enjoy exploring the human psyche and like mysteries. Be warned, this drama is dark and does not provide all the answers tied together in a nice bow. Go in there with an open mind and strong heart because most likely you will be shocked multiple times throughout the drama as I was.

This Drama is more like a Dark Symphony... Although it's Dark but it still is a Masterpiece.

To be honest I started this drama because it has 3 of my favorite Actors Sung Joon, Jung Wook and Woo Bin,

even the description of the Drama was a turn off since I tend to enjoy Romance-Comedies more than Mystery-Psychological K-Drama BUT THEN THIS DRAMA HAPPENED ! and my love story began...

I can bravely say that THIS IS THE BEST KOREAN DRAMA YOU WILL EVER WATCH IN THIS UNIVERSE !! Yeah, it IS that cool.

You might think I'm exaggerating but honestly I'm not, I slept on it so I'm not as emotional and overwhelmed as I was last night, anyway back to the drama:

Story: The story is so out of this world, it is NOT your typical Psychic trying to kill People... It's a whole new level of insanity. It begins slowly and you might think the story about the letters is just about it and is too stupid to continue watching but as you go on with it the real story unfolds out of nowhere. The base of this drama is a question "Are Monsters Born or Made?", I myself started to wonder what the answer is since Ep1 and that's one of the biggest reasons I continued this drama (besides the bunch of f***ing HOT GUYS *__* )

Acting\Cast: PERFECT ! You'll find lots and lots of Mentally Disordered characters in this Drama (practically all of them LOL), the Cast conveyed that feeling Perfectly, each Actor\Actress fitted his role Perfectly and each Emotion was delivered Perfectly, displaying Fear, Hate, Slyness, Weakness isn't as easy as Love and Affection and this Cast just NAILED IT XD

Music: PERFECT ! I don't know if the word "Perfect" loses it's power the more you use it but I simply can't find a better word. I wanna go marry the person who did this drama's Music ! It fits every f***ing second of it ! Every scene ! Every move ! I seldom experienced such joy in K-Dramas, they simply do some background music and that's it but HERE it is different, it made it more of a symphony.
As one of the reviewers said I could watch this drama as pictures and music alone and still be satisfied ! It is that great.

Rewatch Value: I know I gave it a 10 but that's because I wanted to raise the Drama's ranking, I'm sorry for not being honest but there is a very good reason why.. Simply because now that I've watched it I know what's behind the corner in advance, no fun, this drama is all about surprises and unexpected turn of tables so it's very hard to watch again.

OVERALL: WATCH IT NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS

This drama is one of the best written dramas I have seen, and the proformances from the actors involved was incredible.
If you like simple dramas where you always know what's going to happen then this might not be the drama for you. I found it deeply thought-provoking and exciting for the point of veiw of somebody intressed in how the mind works. If you're intrested in psychology then watch this, it really makes you think about criminality and why people become criminals.
On top of that, this story isn't just about murder, each character has a backstory which makes them more realistic as characters. Which is why I think that the writing is wonderful. If you like to connect with characters and care when something bad happens to them, then this is a good drama for you. As I fell in love with all the characters and I was almost shouting at the screen at points because of it.
The background music fits perfectly, and I found myself wanting to buy the soundtrack straight after watching it.
The only negative points about the drama, is that a) it's too short, only 8 episodes is not enough, so it's all over too quickly. And b) Once you've seen it the suspense is ruined because you know what happens. However I feel like rewatching it because of the acting and characters.
On a bonus point there is also great cinematography in this drama, it's shot in a beautiful location!

This is the first drama that I write a review on and the first drama that I could not rate.. (I had to take the average to put an overall score just to post this review - yes, I rounded the score.)
It is psychological and nothing made sense to me when I first started watching it, in fact, the first 3/4 of the show didn't make any sense to me, but I really wanted to know what would happen.

There are some negative aspects that I couldn't let go of, like the fact that a conversation takes so long it makes you bored, and there are some events that stretched out, although it was a miniseries, I kind of got bored in the middle.. but maybe that's just me.
I still don't know how I feel, it's a genius master piece that kept me thinking throughout the whole thing!
Anyway, If you plan on watching this you have to complete the whole thing!
