At first I doubted if I should watch this drama since I really love the anime/manga and I don't want to be disappointed seeing the actors/actresses ruin the story. But since I really love the story I watched it... and I made the RIGHT CHOICE!
This drama was definitely a SUCCESSFUL one! For the story, I must compliment that they gave justice to the original story... They haven't made a lot of changes... almost the same, so much like the anime, but still, definitely worth watching.
For the actors, I really love the character of Tsuruga Ren in the anime (Dung He Lian in this drama), and I should say Choi Si Won has portrayed Ren's character well (just don't mind the voice dubbing). And I also did love how Ivy Chen portrayed Kyoko. Dong Hae was not bad as well... I really loved how all the cast portrayed their individual roles...
Music was definitely cool and awesome. Rewatch value (though I usually don't rewatch dramas), I would definitely watch this again after a couple of years... Overall, this was great!
You would definitely laugh your heart out! You'll enjoy watching this and for those who have watched the anime, you would enjoy this as much as you've enjoyed the anime version...
I definitely want to see a second season of this drama where they could include a lot more of scenes/story from the MANGA...

Memoirs of May
Here are few reasons why you need to check out this drama:✨It featured one of South Korea's dark history.
This drama showed a glimpse of what happened during those years when Martial Law was implemented in SoKor. You will learn about SoKor's history during 1980s through this drama. If you are up for a background about what happened during the timeline of this drama, you might want to search: Gwangju Uprising.
✨Cinematography. Story. Acting.
I'm not really into Film Making but definitely this is one of those Kdramas with amazing Cinematography. The composition of the scenes, the color grading, the lighting. It was very pleasing. Story wise. Awesome. Back to reason number 1. I really love how they feature their History through this drama. Acting of the casts was also superb.
✨Chemistry between the two main leads.
Lee Do Hyun is definitely making a mark in the Kdrama world. I can't think of another actor that would best fit the role of Hee Tae. Go Min Si was also able to portray the role of Myeong Hee very well. I was hesitant if she could perform the role of a woman in a province during 1980s since I've only watch her in Sweet Home and Love Alarm, where she has a very strong personality. But, she was really able to pull it off. Their chemistry was overflowing. It was "kilig" watching their love story. They will also definitely make you cry.
✨Lessons about family and love.
This drama shares lessons about family and love. Circumstances revolving our family can really affect our choices in life but in the end, we still have the right to decide for ourselves. Loving someone can also be difficult and it could forever change our lives but if the other person is worth the risk, then do it.
Overall, this 12 Episode drama is worth my time. A must watch. Highly recommended. ❤️ If you haven't watched this yet, check it out. 🙂

The story was great... A heartwarming one... I would not elaborate too much, I don't want to spoil anything. Again, a very inspiring one! You'd realized a lot of things. Things and thoughts worth keeping. This is based on a real life story... that's why it amazed me much...
The cast were outstanding... They have done a great job in performing their roles. Music was good and definitely a movie worth a rewatch. Overall, this is one of the movies that has inspire me a lot. I've learned and realized many things...
This is worth it! Your 2 hours and 24 minutes would not be put into waste! (^-^)

The story was very detailed. It was very very interesting... Everything fits perfectly. All my whys were answered. You wouldn't want to miss a single scene... Some of the scenes are quite unpredictable and the psycho was really terrifying.
The characters were absolutely great. The psycho (Yoo Ji Tae) was amazing... I was really afraid of him and the next things he might do and what else he is capable of doing. The little girl who can't speak did a superb act as well, also her mother, the DJ.
The movie made me realized, how powerful words and media can be... (^-^). A must-see movie...

Though the story was serious and was kind of heavy, it was not dragging and it was presented in a way that viewers would want to continue watching it 'til the end. It gives great impact and a lot of lessons. One would also learn to love each characters as the drama goes on. Music was just right and goes well with the emotions the drama is trying to give to its viewers.
This is one of those dramas that after watching it, you would realize a lot of things. One of those dramas that as the characters in the story changes, you could also feel that something deep inside you has changed. You would also learn as the characters in the story are learning. A must watch drama. A drama worth remembering.

I liked the movie because the story was interesting and the actors were really good in portraying their roles. It was a fun and heartwarming movie that depicts how destiny can sometimes be playful on people. Some of the scenes were really quite unexpected... The start may not be that good but it somehow pick-up along the way and it became really interesting. You'll be looking forward as to how the story would end...
Overall, it may not be that outstanding but it is a satisfying and a nice movie to watch. It would show you how destiny can be cruel yet COOL!

The story was enjoyable quite predictable (except the first 3 eps, I won't specify. Just watch and brace for it). It mostly focused about friendship, a little of romance (little but, ahm, I should say, cute and powerful scenes). I enjoyed how this drama depict how a band pursued their love for music while facing their individual problems, keeping their friendship bond and seeking for their real dreams. I also loved it 'cause of the different couples. They did not just focused on one love story. The individual love stories are really cute and sweet!
Actors! They are really EYE CANDIES! (STILL Kim Myung Soo is my bias, haha, I really fall easily for "cold" guys). And I really find Jo Bo Ah really pretty. Hmmm, the couples, it was just right and in my own POV, each couple were overflowing with chemistry. I enjoyed how the pairings ended up. Furthermore, the boys had really made a great job in portraying what "FRIENDSHIP" is.
Music was COOL, ear candy (is this term existing? hehe)... It speaks about the band and their story. Rewatch value, an 8, I guess... Overall this was a great drama. You'll gonna enjoy most of the scenes. (^-^). A must-watch!

The story was good. A drama about fame, love and family. Though, it's not unique and fresh but I still enjoyed watching it. It was really fun and quite interesting and enjoyable.
The casts were good. Si Won was sooo adorable. I was really laughing while watching most of his scenes with Chae Rim. I really find Si Won good in his role. I find his scenes funny when it is suppose to be funny and really romantic if it is ought to be romantic... hehe.. And the girl portraying Ye Eun is really cute... so so cute and adorable.
The music was good. Si Won's voice is worth listening to!
Overall, I enjoyed watching this drama... Fun and light. Worth watching.

Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas

This drama has a really unique plot. This would make you realize a lot of things about humans' real nature. It depicts how past events can greatly affect one's thinking and behavior. There are lot of unpredictable scenes. But on the later part, it might be kind of very confusing but it was sort of cleared up before the ending. It's very very unpredictable til the end. Brace for it!
The cast were great. Their acting was sort of convincing. Each of them were suitable for their roles. Well, I must admit, there are lot of eye candies (kekeke) but they have REALLY performed a great job. *claps*
Music suited the scenes, it added an extra effect to the thrill. Hmmm, rewatch value, I think, I wouldn't want to rewatch this (maybe after some years, I'll try) since the excitement and thrill would be lessened since I would know how everything would turn out...
Definitely this is worth the watch... Must-see!

Everything was simply amazing... MYSTERY + COMEDY + ROMANCE = ROOFTOP PRINCE!
The story was fresh, entertaining, and I guess, intelligently written. I have watched hundred of dramas already, but as far as I can remember, this is the only drama that caught my attention from START to END. I mean, it's the only drama that started with a 10 and remained 10 all throughout the end. Other drama might start with a 10 but the excitement would slowly go down in the middle and then go back up high at the end BUT rooftop prince is just different, each episode was exciting enough for me and it would feed up your curiosity up to the end.
The cast was SUPERB. Yoochun and Ji Min, might not have that great chemistry but I guess they're just so good with their characters that it would make you believe they are really in love with each other. Yong Sul, Man Bo and Chi San, were simply entertaining! Their cuteness are just.... uh-oh..... can't be explained! They're just so cute! The villains, Se Na and Tae Mo, were great too... Villains til the end! Their evilness would make you want to strangle them both...
Music was outstanding and fun. A mix of traditional and modern sound (as what I believe, hehehe). It was cute just like the story. Rewatch value would definitely be a 10 as well! It would definitely push you to watch it all over again (I'm planning to watch RP again, atm, even after just finishing the last episode... hehe, though I usually don't rewatch dramas after a couple of years, or sometimes I just don't watch a drama that I've already seen, RP would be an exception (just like GOONG!)
Overall, RP deserves a 10! One, who loves dramas, should definitely watch ROOFTOP PRINCE! You would missed half of your life if you WON'T watch ROOFTOP PRINCE! kekeke... I would miss RP! Best drama for 2012 so far!
If you want a drama where you could laugh your heart out, shed bucket of tears, become "detective-like" in guessing the next scenes... then ROOFTOP PRINCE is the right drama for you!

For the story, I would like to breakdown my comments for the 70's and 2012 scenes. FOR THE 70's EPISODES, some says that it was slow. Yes it was, YET, it my pov, the slow turn of events suited the time it was in. It was beautiful and romantic, the story was a little bit of cliche, BUT it was still heartwarming to watch. I still find the story sweet. FOR THE 2012 EPISODES, the story pick-up. The scenes on the 2012 were very cute and exciting. I really appreciate the difference of the stories in the two periods. You can really see how today's generation is different from the past. However, I must admit I did not enjoy some of the scenes in the later part of the drama. YET, I still enjoyed most of the scenes.
JGS was still good as ever, I find his scenes very very sweet and I can't help but feel in love with his lines and character, both in the 70's and 2012 scenes. For Yoona, I've only watched two dramas starring her. This and Cinderella man. So, I could only compare her acting skills for CM and LR. For me, Yoona did improved a lot. I find her acting very bad in Cinderella Man (I don't know why but I just don't like how the way she acts in that drama). Back to Love rain, Yoona did a good job in her character. Yoona and JGS has a chemistry. Still, I was looking forward for the other cast's characters to grow, wish they had showed side stories about the other characters, it might have been much much better.
Music was good and I find it romantic too. Ahmm, and I must commend on the cinematography (though, I didn't know much about it). I enjoyed the colors. It was beautiful to watch. It was catchy and very pretty.
Rewatch value, I can only rate it 7.
Overall, Love Rain is a good drama and for those who love classic love stories, this is the right drama for you!

Kim Ha Neul was good in portraying her role. The guy was not bad as well... And the supporting cast also added spice to the movie...
A must-see-movie if you're feeling down. It will surely gonna make you smile... (^-^)

A K-DRAMA GEM
I have lots of reasons why Hospital Playlist could be considered one of the best K-dramas out there but I'll be presenting my top 5:5. It Features Diverse Medical Specializations
If you are a fan of medical dramas, then you will surely enjoy this. It features 5 medical specializations: Pediatrics, Cardiology, Obstetrics, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery. The main characters are all surgeons so you will surely get a glimpse of how these modern-day heroes are working.
4. Weekly Band Sessions
I love how they feature a new song in every episode. What's amazing about this is that the main characters are really the one playing the instruments and singing the featured song. Unlike in other dramas/movies, in HP, they really made an effort to cast someone who really knows how to play the instruments and can pull-off the band concept.
3. The Mukbang Scenes
I also did enjoy the scenes where the '99ers (the 5 main characters) and other supporting characters were dining out, eating in the hospital cafeteria and even inside their offices. Makes you crave samgyup and other korean foods while watching them. We all eat and want good food after a long day, right?
2. Love Story
A fan of the Reply series? Then this is another drama for you from the same writer and director. You will surely enjoy (and have a headache) making theories about who will end up with who. This series also shows how love can blossom even for those who are already in their 40s.
1. Slice of life
Friendship. Family. Work struggles. Life decisions. Name it, Hospital Playlist have it. As what the writer aimed how the drama should be, it is definitely relatable. You will surely cry and laugh with them.
Definitely a gem in the 2020 K-drama world. Worth watching! I can't wait to experience all of these again next year in their second season.
A 10/10 in all aspects!

The story was good. I love how they incorporated the North-South Korea conflict in the story. It was not simply a romance drama but a drama with SENSE. This drama was exciting and definitely COOL.
For the cast, I admit, I find Ha Ji Won soooooooo COOL and AMAZING. I love her character... She was definitely great in portraying her role as Hang Ah. Seung Ki, was great as ever. He was moving and hot and I almost think that he was really a real KING... The princess and shi kyung's story was also very heartwarming. BUT my favorite character for this drama would be JOHN MAYER! He was simply CREEPY! He was so good in his role that he gives me goosebumps when I'm watching him act. He was a real FREAK! But freaking in a good way, since he really was the MAIN INGREDIENT for the drama's suspense. He is the BEST VILLAIN I've seen so far in dramas.
The music, on the other hand, I couldn't notice it while watching the drama. I don't know. But I might be just so concentrated that's why I can't notice it. Heheh... Rewatch value, 8, hmmm... I don't think I would watch this again. maybe, after some time. Overall, I think this deserves a 10... (^-^)
