Review of episode 2

This episode explored the theme of class inequality and how it affects those in lower status. Hur June's mother talked about Hur June's sorrow as his friends all moved on from where they were to government officials and even though he was the more clever one, he remained low in status because he was born a concubine's son.

This episode explored the theme of kinship between father and son. His father might be angry at Hur June's action but he let Hur June escaped because he was Hur June's father. Though he was mad at Hur June for what he did, he could not bear to let his son suffered the consequences of the law.

This episode explored the theme of the impotance of not making rash decisions. Hur June rashly went to search for the culprit who stole his money and was punished for his actions by being temporarily locked up in jail.
