suugaku Series Tsuugaku Densha can also be called “The ultimate Shojo parody movie”.
I do like to watch shojo movies but this one was really awful.
There wasn’t even a real and catchy plot, no acting skills at all.
I feel bad saying it but as a big fan of Chiba Yudai I was really disappointed by his acting here.
Sloppy, awful, something that I won’t watch ever again.
And what about Ryo? He’s such a great actor but he has a strange and gloomy curse : it seems like no one wants to give him a lead role.
Chiba’s cute scenes were adorable….
I’ll give this movie a low score and, to be very honest, I won’t even recommend it to my friends.
Basically only big fans of Yudai can be able to handle it and watch it ‘till the end.

Unfortunately, the second movie was better. Though this one had some
mystery, the whole thing was cliché and the love story could have been
better. In the end, it was hard to understand what happened, why it
happened and how. The story looked interesting at the beginning, as the
whole fantasy-mystical element created suspense and an interesting
mystery to be unfold. However, the story got confusing and the romance
was not strong enough to help things get better. Maybe it was due to
lack of chemistry between the couple, though their performances were
really good. Or maybe the lack of a proper ending aided to make the
love story kind of boring. Again, the whole ghost story was too
complicated and not properly explained which led for this movie to be a
failure. So, 4 out of 10.

[WARNING: the rating and review I give have the possibility to be subjective due to my preference for the genres, scenes or casts]

Well, I always think that Chiba Yudai is too beautiful, but I can't deny that his acting is good. In this movie, you can see he act with two really different character. After all, this is an OK movie for me, but not leave a great impression.

The story so far quite interesting, I feel like I have been read about this story before, maybe in some manga in the past. The casts’ acting was good too, their chemistry not superb, but still acceptable.

I'd say I wouldn't rewatch it but I guess it's watchable.

Just take note that it's nothing special nor is it striking so you better not expect. To be honest, I nearly dropped it if not only for Chiba Yudai who looks cute here and has quite adorable character. Lol. Well thanks to his character too, this movie had some fun.

The beginning was confusing but keep going and you'll understand soon.

The first thing I didn't like here was that the female lead lacked expressions so you won't really feel her emotions. On the other hand, the male lead is definitely doing well on the light/funny scenes. However, he lacks on the serious notes like he was crying but I can't feel it.

I cannot really say they have chemistry. It was just so-so.

Anyway, I only saw Chiba Yudai in Black Devil and White Prince. I wasn't fond of his flower boy image there but after watching this, I wanted to see him in a romcom drama/movie. He'll definitely pull it off. Gotta hunt soon I guess ^^
