Office worker Jae Seop is hapily married to the large-hearted, naive homemaker Soon Yim - until he meets pianist Yeo Kyung while on a business trip and gets attracted to her. As he is drawn into her turbulent, glamorous life that he cannot forget even when he's back home, he distances himself from Soon Yim and starts treating her indifferent, while Yeo Kyung struggles against her overbearing stage mother and her feelings for Jae Seop, a married man. Jae Seop's initial indifference to Soon Yim turns to gaslighting and violence as he pursues Yeo Kyung, and a toxic cycle of relationships start forming.
