I really enjoyed this drama and I've rewatched it twice. It's cute and I ship the main couple SO HARD.

The story was good. It's a mediocre concept, but they carried it out quite well. There's this one scene (I'm not gonna spoil) but all of the main characters are in it and it's funny asf.

The acting was good, not great. There were some highs and lows, but like I said... I LOVE THE MAIN COUPLE.

The music SLAPS. I'm a Jessi fan so My Romeo had me jamming in my blanket. I honestly looked up the OST on Spotify because I loved it so much.

As I said before, I've rewatched this twice so the rewatch value is a solid 10. I really love this drama.

I was quite suprised

When I decided to watch this drama I already heard so many good things about it. So I expected a lot and wasn't dissappointed.
The storyline made me wanting to know more and I am satisfied with it. However, there are scenes I just skipped through.
I belive actors did amazing job even though I didn't like Naeun acting. And the romance, omg, I love it. The main leads chemistry is on another level.
And a big plus for music. I love all songs especially Romeo by Jessi.
I want to watch this drama again cause for some unknown reason I can't stop thinking about it.

I suppose the show is aptly named. The plot mainly moves along due to all the males in this show who have a white knight complex and are motivated by a girl’s distress signal.
I enjoyed the show way more than I think it’s worth.
There is nothing much to the plot but before I knew it, I was at the end. So I guess it was entertaining enough to keep me marathoning.

I really liked how the drama showed the three cousins being distant with each other but also getting more comfortable with each other. They remained prickly and antagonistic, but the way the circumstances shoved them together, you could see they were starting to feel more warmth about their dysfunctional relatives.

The step family really makes it feel like Cinderella in the way they are just hopelessly petty. I did appreciate that they really love Ha Won’s dad though.

Ha Won – female lead
Ha Won can be aggressive but she’s polite and easy going too. Her smile is so genuine and sweet. It doesn’t feel like she’s pushing the cheerful heroine, it seems so sincere. This show is so over the top. It has so much high drama. Of course she’s a hard worker like most Kdrama heroines but I liked that her mission was more relational and she had to think about how to win over the boys’ personalities.

My favourite parts were when the boys all had to react to announcement at the same time and how their personalities were so different. It was so fun how they came together for Ha Won’s sake. They all loved her so much. I liked how they were so impacted when Ha Won just casually called them chingu in conversation.

A drama always gets extra points from me where the heroine isn’t belittled for her looks or her brain.

Ji Woon – male lead
I wasn’t confident that I would like this actor because his looks just isn’t my cup of tea. But I really came to like him. This guy seems like the oldest to me because he is so serious. I like that he is distant and isolating. He doesn’t go out of his way to be mean. He just consistently tells her to get lost.

Romance
Ji Woon has a very nice way of looking at Ha Won. He isn’t the most handsome guy but he does have this aura about him that is very gentle and charismatic. I liked the orphan spin on this drama that both Ha Won and Ji Woon are both very alone in this world. The pair have a subtle way of connecting over their parents.

General Secretary

I love dramas that have that stereotypical stern guy that is uber polite and professional.

Kang Min Young – second male lead (?)

This guy starts out pretty stereotypical but he became such a funny character later on. I like the way he talks. He isn’t the best of actors with the more dramatic scenes. But he is good at skinship. He just looks good when he’s next to a girl.

A Cheesy Yet Charming Step in Kdrama's Evolution

Having recently finished this, it's evident that kdrama has evolved significantly, especially in terms of writing. The series demonstrates a departure from the over-the-top 80's style melodrama, although not entirely. It’s apparent that many writers have either been replaced or have learned from their past mistakes, leading to generally improved storytelling in contemporary dramas.
The show is riddled with clichés, to the point of being cringeworthy. The "poor girl meets rich boys" trope is painfully overdone, and the predictable plot twists do little to add originality. Watching the show can feel like a checklist of kdrama stereotypes: the aloof chaebol, the kind-hearted heroine, the love triangles, and the obligatory makeover scenes. The formulaic approach makes it hard to take the drama seriously.
Yet, the series has undeniable charm, largely due to its cast. "Cinderella and the Four Knights" has served as a launching pad for many actors, notably the beautiful Park So Dam. Her performance, along with the rest of the ensemble cast, brings a level of charisma that partially compensates for the lackluster script. The actors' chemistry and charm provide some genuine moments of enjoyment amidst the sea of cheese.
Speaking of cheese, this drama has more than a Quattro formaggio pizza. The excessive romantic tropes and overblown emotional scenes can be both entertaining and exhausting. It's the kind of show where you can predict the next line of dialogue or the next plot twist with uncanny accuracy, which might be endearing to some viewers but tiresome to others.
Despite its flaws, it remains watchable, even if only as background noise while doing chores. The light-hearted nature of the show makes it easy to follow without demanding much attention or emotional investment. It's the kind of drama that you can enjoy in a passive way, perfect for multitasking.
In conclusion, it’s a mixed bag. On one hand, it showcases the growth and evolution of kdrama writing. On the other, it clings stubbornly to outdated tropes and clichés. While it might not be groundbreaking or particularly memorable, its likable cast and easy-to-digest format make it a tolerable watch for K-drama enthusiasts and casual viewers alike.

This one was a surprise, in a good way tho.

I honestly enjoyed it very much, was light, funny, comic, amusing, romantic, sad, sexy and deep thoughts about family and love. It had a lot of good things going on and they were able to tell a good story, with a good balance.

Some things were not exactly necessary, some scenes or actions of the characters but i guess they made sense in the writers head so i’m not gonna argue with that. The cast was great to watch, they did an amazing job, the female lead was very well chosen, she’s such a cutie, i fell in love with her at first sight :) She’s so pretty and those eyes...i mean who wouldn’t fall for her?
All the male co stars were very good too, such a handsome and fun bunch of guys. The characters evolve as the story unravels and their bonds go deeper, both for family and love. I mean that family has some deep issues that need to be fixed ASAP and her coming into their lives actually helped to give that extra push for them to be closer as a family.

It's enjoyable and has comedy and romance in equal measures, they give spotlight to some sensitive matters but treat them with actual respect so it was a plus for me to watch that.

(THIS IS NOT A SPOILER because i am not telling the whole scene and just a tiny bit, an action that was actually hillarious to me so proceed reading at your own risk XD)
There’s this one scene i think it’s just genius and kudos to the writer for that one, when they are both so drunk and alone that their true feelings start to surface, they are super funny omfg i can’t even explain how good that scene was for me XD the way he just says to her “saranghaeyo” while being that drunk and she replies “shut up” and "take a hike" ditching him straight up, it’s just priceless! <3

Prince Charming Wins Your Heart

I've held back from watching this series simply because there's so many Cinderella-type movies and shows. This was my second time trying to watch this one, and glad I finally did it - it turned out better than I thought.

The acting was decent all-around, but I really enjoyed the cinematography of this, and the costuming was really nice. And if course, my favorite lead actor, Jung Il Woo, made this a watchable series. He really carried the story, just as expected. I was not crazy about the lead actress, but I did like actors Choi Min and Ahn Jae Hyun and their roles, especially how they turned it around near the end of the series.

The story and plot is good and that carries you through the series. Would recommend to give this one a watch, it is quite magical.

I'll start off by saying I am not a professional critic just a girl saying what's on my mind so do with that what you will.
Let's goooo.

Listen this was great but how are they gonna do my music man so dirty like damn she really brother zoned him like that. JUSTICE FOR KANG SEO-WOO!!!!! Don't get me started on that annoying fashion girl please she cries in every damn scene I quite literally always skipped her parts talk about a pick me, girl. Anyways it made me laugh enough that I completed it so if you like the enemies to friends to lovers vibe then great. And I love the female lead played by actress Park So-dam. Each to their own though.

Awesome series

Story was intriguing, gets you in the hook the moment you start watching.

Cast was awesome, they portrayed their roles very well, and loved their interactions not a single dull moment. The main couple Ji Woon and Eun Ha Won are so cute together, and Hyun Min and Hye Ji are cute too as a couple and loved the singer Seo Woo and Lee Yoon Sung the assistant to the chairman.

Music, well I just loved it. The music comes in the best moments and it gives you the feeling you’re supposed to feel when watching the events of the story.

Development of the story was well done, and the paste of the story was great.

I will definitely re-watch and buy some of the songs of the soundtrack.

Thank you for producing such a lovely story with awesome music and cast.

To the producer, the writers, and the whole team who made, and participated in the creation of this awesome series, a big thank you!
(*゚▽゚*)

I really enjoyed watching this series.

wtf was going on in this show

i dont know who woke up one day and thought "yeah itd be a great idea to make a kdrama of 4 cousins who HATE each other fall in love with the same girl" ????????? like bffr. i thought this was gonna be something similar to the 3 musketeers ... oh boy i was so wrong. this kdrama was not even memorable which says a lot about its impact ..... but what i can tell u is that it was not the best. the female lead is an orphan, broke, and randomly runs into the grandfather of the 4 cousins and ofc he decides "yeah this broke sensitive emotional girl can definitely be the mediator for family drama even tho her own family hates her!!!!" again ???????? oh and ofc he bribes her with money to do it all .... anyway all of the cousins have a distinct personality but yk what im still curious about to this day ... the 4th man who "likes" her wasnt even like ..... showed??????? the first cousin is this guy who has beef with his ex gf ... and she also happens to be the best friend of another cousin (who is the male lead) .... and he uses the female lead to make his ex gf jealous but then actually ends up liking her ??? like damn bro pick a struggle please ... and the male lead (surprise surprise is who she ends up with) is the typical stereotypical "badass" like no ... bro i rewatched the trailer the other day and why the hell was he beating up a gang at a high school im so confused??????? why is there even a gang????? these are rich ass men wtf are you doing there ??????? he was also so rude to the female lead so idk why she was so damn attached to him .... and he was so nice to his best friend like ugh ew red flag .... please it was just too much. ... and the 3rd cousin was a singer/song writer and lowkey the nicest but NOOO OBVI she didnt get with him ... ok but the thing is idfk who the 4th guy was?????? like god i hope it wasnt the grandfather .... anyway there was so much about this show that was interesting like the 2nd female lead ..... she drowned one time ???? and the acting was bad like ok i get it its hard to act like ur drowning but i genuinely couldnt tell if the character was purposely drowning to get her exs attention (cuz he was there) or if the actor couldnt act like she was drowning .... anyway yeah this show was just so ... interesting ... but the ost did eat MYY ONNNEEEEE ANNND ONLLY YOOOOU yeah id rewatch just to talk shit ngl but other than that yeah its not worth it dont waste ur time

A Cute Watch For What It Is

As a long time K-Drama fan, I pick my dramas on actors I like, or if it's a general genre I enjoy. I am an absolute sucker for rom-coms. Rom-coms are such a hit or miss in the K-Drama world. I walked into this one with zero expectations and actually enjoyed it. If you take it for what it is, it's a cute drama.

With that said ... ONTO THE REVIEW!!

Story wise, I thought it was an absolute mess. it started off with this cute build up to the idea of "Cinderella" and a quirky montage/backstory of each of the characters.

The first three-ish episodes of what I thought was the story that would carry the drama quickly fizzled out to unrequited and awkward one-sided love hexagons? The whole premise of "become a family" gets lost, but magically is perfect at the end.

Hye Ji made for a terrible "love triangle antagonist". Her backstory was stale and she was such a third-wheel character with no real potential.

The acting itself, I thought was as good as it can be. Each actor made their character believable and shaped them to the best of their ability and it goes to give them credit to that.

The OST was my jam! Not only did I run and add all the main songs to my spotify, but absolutely sang along each time they made the tune hit during the dramatic scenes.

As for rewatch value, I wouldn't be opposed to playing this in the background while I knit or crocheted. I'd definitely opt to skip some of the fluff episodes.

Overall, coming into this drama with zero expectations and an open-mind, it was cute, quirky and I appreciate the fact that the FL wasn't a helpless, fragile, pretty face.

I am in love with this drama. This drama is really good. This is both funny and serious and It is perfectly-balanced in this matter. I really like the storyline of the drama. The acting of the actors was really good just perfect. The OSTs used in the drama were also really good. Park So Dam's acting was really good. Moreover, The acting of Jung Ilwoo, Ahn Jaehyun, Lee Sungmin and rest of the cast was really good. The drama was also quite hilarious at times. I really loved the drama. This was a new kind of drama and as I shipped Eun Ha Won and Kang Jiwoon from the start and they ended up together in the end, so I was really happy and I loved it. But one thing was that I think that they rushed up the things in the last episode as a lot happened in the last. But overall the drama was good and I would recommend it cause It is a must watch.
