Very Good BL, But Left Me Wanting More...
I watched this without knowing it was a BL series. I love Ren Meguro and when I saw it after watching, “Silent,” I was intrigued. This story was really cute, enough for me to start reading the Manga series, which is also good! The initial chemistry with Ida and Aoki was great at the beginning, but it wasn't as convincing as the series kept going. I didn't feel the chemistry as much between the two characters. Also, the ending was sweet, but I was hoping for a really big bang. Something really fantastic. I hope if there's a Season 2, they pick-up with even greater chemistry. Was this review helpful to you?
Francis Ng takes you on this incredible journey, along with his friendships and relationships. He's basically a dedicated, hard-working pilot, who also has so many responsibilities of others. And the other characters in the drama series do a great job in telling this story.
There's a lot of love, friendships, hate, regret, and loyalty in this series. It's definitely worth it to give this one a watch!

It’s Good, But Way Too Long...
This was a great series for the first 10 episodes, then you stick around for another 10 because you wanna know what happens, then it's kind of a drag to complete the last episodes. I was disinterested probably at about episode 18-20. The storyline gets old, characters are also losing their spark. And I kinda dislike the b*tchiness attitudes of the leading ladies in this series, they could've been much stronger characters, but their conniving attitudes were quite unappealing to watch. But, I have a feeling this suits, as it's a mainland Chinese series with its local culture. It was good to watch once, discovered the male actor Chen, and am hoping to watch his other shows. Was this review helpful to you?
It was more of a Melodrama
Jung Woo Sung was what got me to watch this film, along with the leading lady, whom I also like her in dramas. This is really a Melodrama, with exaggerated slow-paced scenes to create the somberness of one with a loss of memory and trying to learn about who they are.I came in thinking this was going to be a love film, but it was more sad than uplifting. Cinematography is beautiful through the film, enough to keep you watching. Also, the acting is really good all around.
This is worth the watch if you want to watch a more mature storyline, than all the feel-good films that are out there these days. Feels more relatable and probable, which makes this worth to watch.

Wasn't the film I was looking for, but...
It was definitely suspenseful. I was hoping the lead teacher lady was gonna be the winner in this story, but things went awry in this film. There's no wholesome characters in this, everyone's a victim, because of everyone's flaws with jealousy, deceit, and power.I was cheering for the lead teacher lady, because she had it rough. From her own relationship to what she lives through with the other characters. It's like, you wanted her to get something out of this. In a way, she did, but ended up hurting everybody.
The acting was fairly good from everyone. The male lead was quite impressive playing an innocent high school boy, you felt sorry for him early on, then later, you get a surprise.
This film is worth watching once, but it's really twisted! Haha. If you're looking for a love story, this film is not it. There are better ones out there, but...If you want some betrayal and maybe some hot scenes, this is yours to watch.

Fell in Love with Dr. Tendo
I got into this j-drama without knowing it was a manga series. It was a first time in years I've watched a j-drama, and this one gave a lot of classic 90s j-drama feel, which I thoroughly enjoyed. At first, I wasn't convinced about the chemistry between the main characters, Dr. Tendo and Sakura, but eventually did with the character development. I loved them together! I was most impressed by Satoh Takeru's acting in this...He played serious and sarcastic and loving so well. I really enjoyed his performance the most.
The story here also clenches you, making you wonder what will happen next. It kept me guessing what was going to happen, which made this a fun series to watch. Definitely a worthwhile drama series to check out. I want to get the actual manga now, too!

Good Series...Though Trailer Was Misleading
This was a really good series, in that it hit many aspects of what being grown-up is about, and that life hands you things you least expect, both good and bad.I wanted to watch this because it looked like a fun story, with three friends enjoying the end of their 30s. The storyline became a very sad timeline very quick, which was really shocking. Personally, I can relate to this story very much, and also have two really great girlfriends, that have shared a lifelong friendship. I guess I wanted to see this as a happy series, rather than sad, but I completed the series anyway.
I think it could've ended at around episode 8, instead of 12. It was just a lot of added drama for the last few episodes. I think the friend actresses had good chemistry, along with the men who were involved in their lives. It was almost too perfectly synced, though, like it doesn't really work that way so perfectly in real life. But, it's a K-drama, right?
I'd say if you want a drama that will make you hit those emotions, this may be for you. But it's not a comedy or lighthearted at all, like how the trailer showed it.

Really Enjoyed This, But Also Could Be Better
I watched this out of the whim, and it was pleasant to watch episodes 1-3, and just those episodes, I was rating this series at about a 7. But, once we got to episode 4, the story got better, and just all of it was beautiful.Who knew BL genre could be so beautiful. The only thing I didn't quite like was the derogatory or name-calling from Kiyoi towards Hira. It almost came off as borderline abusiveness, even though I understand it's to convey the sub-dom relationship. Still good to watch. It was a good watch indeed.

Prince Charming Wins Your Heart
I've held back from watching this series simply because there's so many Cinderella-type movies and shows. This was my second time trying to watch this one, and glad I finally did it - it turned out better than I thought. The acting was decent all-around, but I really enjoyed the cinematography of this, and the costuming was really nice. And if course, my favorite lead actor, Jung Il Woo, made this a watchable series. He really carried the story, just as expected. I was not crazy about the lead actress, but I did like actors Choi Min and Ahn Jae Hyun and their roles, especially how they turned it around near the end of the series.
The story and plot is good and that carries you through the series. Would recommend to give this one a watch, it is quite magical.

Easy watch, but that's about it
Let me say I am probably not the target audience for this manga-turned-drama series, but I was looking for something romantic to watch. I had watched another series that was so good, I stuck onto the genre. However, this one didn't really hit high notes for me.I only kept watching this series for Eiji Akaso - truly the only character that you kinda enjoy because he works so hard as the stylist that he is, but he also is nurturing and does his boyfriend role really well. I wasn't crazy about the lead actress, or the supporting roles.
The series definitely felt choppy, but that's probably because it follows the actual manga. So, wasn't convinced of the story going so fast. Didn't feel much character development either. It's a good series that you can finish in a day or two, but it won't make your heart race and kinda leaves you hanging in a lot of scenes. You won't miss out if you don't happen to watch this though.

A Short, but Magical Korean Love Drama
I decided to watch this series on a whim, because I actually was curious about why one would kiss a goblin. Well, I definitely got my answer one I tuned-in to this Korean Drama series. I can probably say it will be be one of my favorites that I will keep watching over and over again.Actor In-Hyuk is incredibly beautiful as his character develops in the story. And the leading girl character does such a great job and the chemistry between the two actors is absolutely believable. You may even feel like you get to know them and feel like their best friends, by the end of the series.
I very much enjoyed how well this series was filmed. It's quite a beautiful series. And I love the costuming of the goblin (In-Hyuk) and the antagonist in the story (the other guy)..
In all, I really loved this K-drama. Lots about love and loyalty, all in this lovely fantasy series. Do give it watch!

The overall chemistry of the characters worked, but it was also kind of hard to believe. The acting was as expected, but the chemistry really made some moments in the series not so believable.
If you are a Raymond Wong fan, don't expect this series to be anything exciting. His character is kind of a jerk in this one. But that's all I'm going to say. Would recommend to watch if you want to watch a modern story about marriage and relationships.

I like the costuming on the characters, colored-hair, character portrayals and the dialogue between characters. The dialogue between the elders, parents, and the younger characters is so on-point. And the struggles of those communications shows throughout the story and the plot.
The OST theme song sounds wonderful and is one of my favorite songs I listen to often. I would recommend giving this Chinese drams a shot.

I enjoyed the drama and the themes of love, revenge, deceit, and the overall emotional undertake of the story. Actors Raymond Wong and Niki Chow did a great job portraying their broken characters. Would highly recommend if you want a worthy Chnese drama to check out.

Lee Min Ho is King Worthy, except the Drama Itself
This was a pretty good drama being that it had Lee Min Ho, and surprisingly Woo Do Hwan (Yeong/Eun-Sup). I think the chemistry between him and the King (Minho) were the best and I looked forward to their scenes, or just Do Hwan because he was so charming. The chemistry between the MLs were really lacking. I didn't believe they were in love, unfortunately. It seemed really forced acting. Everything else in the series was decent, you really have to follow along the many parallel universes to understand the story.
A little gory in some of the bloody scenes (there's plenty of them in this series), but nothing that will haunt your dreams or anything. But there is violence.
Worth to watch for the beautiful traditional Korean garments the Royal Family wears though. Oh, and I really could care less about that Prime Minister character, straight up annoying. That character could've been removed in my opinion.
