Both dramas chronicle--in a very humorous, often silly manner--the lives of gay young adults. In both dramas, the story lines are fairly simple, though each do touch on more serious topics, albeit not with a tone of angst or heavy drama. The episodes are very slice of life, largely independent of one another, but still connected under an overarching theme of finding love and enjoying life with friends. Diary of Tootsies ranks higher in terms of acting and production, but those who enjoyed the lighthearted fun of this series will likely enjoy Bangkok G Story as well.

Both feature amazing queerplatonic friend group dynamics, amazing lgbtq rep, and incredibly funny. Diary of Tootsies feature less romance than Knock Knock Boys but I think that their themes are very much in the same realm.

- Follows a lgbt friend group
- feminine male lead that also like to do drag
- characters experience homophobia but still hold their head up high
- characters also deal with heartbreak, family and quarrels between friends

It is second season that picks up where it left off in the first season.

in both dramas a (really great)group of friends tries to find love and just go through life and deal with the things that happen. Both shows are also funny and very enjoyable. Wake Up Ladies is the more romance focused show out of the two while Diary of Tootsies is the funnier one

I think it has the same type of humor and it deals with a group of friends who happen to be gay

Both rom-com follow a group of guys through their weird life. Even though DoT focuses more on their group of friends than their love stories, I'm sure that if you liked either of them you'll like the other too :)

Both dramas display the same type of humour. While Diary of Tootsies shows gay people. The Boy Next Door is technically not a gay drama. But does portray gay-ish themes.

Both dramas follow a group of LGBT+ friends who go through real-life scenarios. Gay Ok Bangkok has a more serious and mature tone while Diary of Tootsies is a bit more comedic, yet both dramas touch on realistic story plots.
