Ghosts and Bunnies!
This show is hilarious, thrilling, suspenseful, deep, genuine, and very unique. I do not understand how this series has only 9 episodes! The cast was perfectly in sync with each other; comedic delivery and response(s) were on point, the romance levels were just right to fit within supernatural, suspense, mystery, thrilling, action, and comedy genres (and I'm sure a few more I'm not thinking of), the personalities of the actors themselves really came through in the characters they played which made the characters seem like real people!
I have to say, this show was very well made too. I seriously wish this show had a second season or even 12 episodes. The ending seemed to be lacking in a few areas and I was left with the "I want to see more; I want to know more about these people" type of feeling. This show is not one to be missed out on though! I definitely recommend this series!

I wasn't impressed with the first couple of episodes, honestly. However, I could feel something was there. Though it seemed episodic, like most J dramas, there was always a continuous, underlying plot that was always there. The more it built, the better the drama became, until epsisode 8 which was wonderful! I was a little disappointed with the final episode and how things ended, which is why I docked .5 from my score, otherwise, it would have ended up being an 8.5.
The acting didn't wow me at first. This is the first drama I have seen with Fukushi Sota and at first I thought he was stiff and awkward. That impression totally changed as I continued to watch. What I had at first assumed was an awkward and stiff actor is actually the character of Madoka. In fact, I am pretty certain that the character has Asperger's Syndrome, for everything about his character traits points to it. It is never said in the drama, but as a parent of a child with Asperger's, I could recognize it. Even if the character isn't initially supposed to be that way, Fukushi does an absolute brilliant job in portraying him that way. I am being very serious here in my praise of him. I was deeply impressed.
I was impressed with all the actors except Tsuchiya Tao. I thought she acted like a cookie cutter type. I have seen dozens of J actresses that talk, walk, laugh and over act in the exact same fashion. She did not bring anything original to the drama acting wise though I didn't particularly dislike her character or anything like that. The character herself was ok, though I just could never see any romantic chemistry between her and Madoka at all. I could see they were friends and co workers, but I just never felt any real romance between them.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a cute and fun J drama to watch. It's also a drama that I could maybe see myself rewatching at some point, which is rare for me. (^_^)

When I read about the "pink rabbit" in the synopsis, it lowered expectations initially. But I loved it- it added that special element.
Despite the humorous over-exaggeration and the simplistic feel, they managed to incorporate some depth with every personal story. The supernatural aspect was also done much better than many of the more mainstream series in its genre as they didn't attempt to dramatize or glamorize it. And those subtle aspects where they somehow managed to cast actors that actually resemble one another between their youth and later years was also really appreciated. All the characters were likeable in a natural way and the actors fit really well in their roles.

Omukae Death is a good time-killer drama. Who would've imagine a grim reaper wearing a bunny mascot rather than capes (or fedora hat, even)?Along with propelling words they say to the souls, I am deeply moved too. I teared up on the teacher and student scene. I obviously liked the part-timers who tried their very best to comfort these souls... even though they're fighting like a cat-dog duo.
A sugar of fluff romance and a spice of suspense were in sync, don't forget the nice of laughter! Actors really did a good job on their roles.
Overall, a good watch! It needs more recognition. However, if you're planning to watch for romance, let me tell you... they don't have that lovers' chemistry.

Oh, this was wonderful - and Fukushi Sota was so pretty in this! Sweet characters with a heart of gold suit him so well! I really, truly loved this drama. Who knew that grim reapers in pink bunny suits could be so hilarious! The best part of this drama - at least for me - were definitely the relationships - and not just between Tsutsumi and Aguma, the leads. Tsutsumi's family was also hilarious and incredibly loving and lovable. And then there was Chisato, Tsutsumi's high school sweetheart...
I still think that Tsutsumi was autistic. His inability to understand how relationships and emotions in general worked. His tunel vision and his mile-a-minute talks on subjects that caught his interest, like rockets. It's not said out loud in the drama but... yeah.
This drama had some really hilarious moments but also some very touching that made me tear up. It had the perfect balance, IMHO. It's definitely a drama for blue moods, when you need a quick pick-up!
