Both drama contains supernatural romantic materials.Well, even being a fantasy sci Fi "My girlfriend is an alien" basically focus over romance .Lots of kisses and sweet jealousy scenes. Also slight fantasy materials.Amounts of humor is huge.
While alongside romance and comedy Goblin contains mystery materials. Both are worth to watch

both are supernatural historical dramas..with a blending of past and present

both have 2 love stories
1-warrior and person from the present.
the love of warrior is pure platonic one with lot of understanding..and he is always try to protect his girl
and the couple always try to overcome their difficulties together
2--king and queen
the love b/w king and queen had lot of misunderstandings though they love each other a lot...

both have bromance b/w king and warrior and the warrior was very loyal to the king

both have good friendship b/w two leading female characters and help each other to develop their love and all..

both have people who are jealous of the warrior and plotting against him and try to brainwash the king

But the theme of the story is completely different

cuz in faith its just one girl who time travels to the Goryeo era..
and in goblin many people from that era come to the 21st-century in different ways..

Only certain people can see ghost or dead soul. Both Korean movie/drama has a main lead can see dead soul wondering around.

This is a story involving vampires. It goes back to 350+ years when Baek Jung Won saved the vampire I Wha from being burned at the stake in his village. He fell off the cliff while they escaped and I Wha had to give him her blood in order to save him from dying and thus Baek Jung Won was transformed into a vampire also.
In the modern day Seoul, they opened a bar. One day, Baek Jung Won received a letter from his former lover who was dying and entrusted him to look after her daughter, Jang Ji Yun. Baek Jung Won fell in love with this woman some 20 years ago but broke up without telling her the truth about himself. After her mother's funeral, Jang Ji Yun found a picture that her mother treasured a lot with someone looking like Baek Jung Won in it and she set out to look for him. When she finally found him, she thought he was the son of her mother's long lost lover as Baek Jung Won's appearance didn't change as a vampire. They start to fall in love and I Wha has difficulty dealing with that. At the same time, a serial killer who sucks blood from the victims is on the loose

Just kind of felt similar. When I was watching The Sound of Magic I was reminded of Goblin even though it is not similar but kinda is.

In both series the male lead whose goal is to find the person who'll be able to help him end the long awaited curse.

In Goblin the flashbacks in history are in the time period of Goryeo, in which Wang Yeo (Yo) is King. Wang Yo is a character present in Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I think it's very interesting to see Yo being portrayed by different people. Both drama's have very emotional plot-lines to them, definitely have tissues prepared if you watch them.

Even if one is medical drama and other is not .

There are supernatural elements in both.
Both dramas have fantasy and comedy elements.

Main similarity I find is Bromance in both dramas. Its hilarious.

My two favorite dramas, both portray the relationship of a particular girl and a lonely man, with a mixture of sweet and heartbreaking moments. Kou Kou shows way more the cruel reality of life, while Goblin is a fantasy, but both have amazingly strong and well delivered plots.

Both have sweet relationship based on female-chases-male-first and him being cold and distanced when she's cheerful and cute.
Except in Goblin we have a teenage girl when in FMIYM we have all adults.

There is an amusing tribute to Goblin in a scene of Drunk In Good Taste.
