I finally finished watching 'Bring It On, Ghost'

A cohabitation comedy about a ghost of a high school girl who has been dead for 5 years and an exorcist college boy with the ability to see and hear ghosts. What he’s discovered over the years is that he can touch them and fight them off, so when he’s in need of a part-time job and can’t find one that pays well enough, he starts putting ads online as an exorcist for hire

There was something really refreshing about this kind of a ghost story. A human and a ghost fall in love?! I am in! I really enjoyed the fact that the romance was cute but that wasn't all this drama had to offer, the comedy and supernatural action were there too.
So what we got was a story about our two main characters each day facing a new exorcism case while the romance and the main mystery slowly progresses.

If you’re not a fan of horror drama, try to consider watching this. It will give you a lighter view about horror dramas. Upon screaming, you will also find yourself laughing at those ghosts. :) Such a cute and feel good drama.

Just a downside on how the story was written. They go through a lot of hardships just because of the ritual tool. Maybe I’m just expecting a deeper story line. And, I really don’t get it why Professor Joo Hye Sung needs to kill the cat in the first place that leads to killing of other characters. Poor little cat. :(

I’m also surprise that Kim So Hyun already had a kissing scene in this drama. Is this her first onscreen kiss? She's still minor, isn’t she? And, Ok Taec Yeon is 10 years older than her. Didn’t they find it awkward? However, I believe their characters are well played. Without thinking their real age difference, they do have chemistry and I find their love story interesting though unusual as first.

All in all, I find this drama a good watch.

Way better than I expected

So I started to watch this drama after reading a bit of original webtoon, on which the title is based. Right from the start it feels less comedic, a bit more serious, fun and cute. I believe the reason is the following: webtoon drawing style is, well... ugly. While there is a ton of Korean manhwa and webtoons with an amazing art, this one isn't among them, sadly.

Hovewer in drama they made a great work on cast, all main characters are charismatic and beautiful. Even the evil ones. The story is more likeable too.

Can recommend this series for everyone looking for some heartwarming, cute and easy love story, with some supernatural stuff is going around.

I really didn't think I'd LOVE this drama. I'd started it based on a recommendation from a tumblr friend.

I'd heard many mixed things on the drama, and the actors involved. But I will say this, it definitely exceeded expectations. I think Taecyeon did a nice job in his role, unlike what I'd heard.

I think the chemistry between him and So-hyun played out well on the screen.

What I loved the most though, was the "ghost of the week" theme. Some weren't emotional or in depth, but then others were.

This show has no fear of stepping onto topics I haven't seen much in dramas (mostly because I've watched mainly rom com's) It had story lines of domestic assault victims as well as child abuse victims. I think those story arcs were done with a grace that made it both emotional and gave them a feeling of being real.

While it does have some of dramas biggest cliche's and troupes, I think it did it in a way that was true to the story and so it made it less frustrating than in other dramas.

Entertaining mix of horror, romance and comedy

Before I get to the actual review, I must ask for a bit of indulgence. Bring it on, Ghost was my first k-drama. After following for years tv shows like NCIS and House, BiOG was a revelation. It was more than a cultural shock but the fact that the whole series fit inside sixteen episodes just blew my mind. There was so much happening in every episode, I just had to binge it. This was the start of my journey into dramaland and as the saying goes, I went down the rabbit hole! :)
It is no surprise then that this show held a special place for me. It may be through rose tinted glasses but I still think that this show is very entertaining. There is a good mix of horror (nothing over the top), comedy and romance. The OPT has great chemistry and the fact that the pair fell in love not once but twice was a lovely twist. In hindsight, I'm surprised that the show actually has few of the typical k/c/t-drama tropes. The pacing was great, the ensemble cast was above average, there were action scenes as well as swoon worthy ones between the OTP. It might not be up there with the top dramas like Itaewon Class and When Camellia Blooms but it stands on its own merits and is binge worthy.

Bring It On, Ghost is super cute! Scary but cute.
I love that portrayed ghosts in so many different ways. They were funny, scary, cute, and sometimes you couldn't help but to feel for them.
There are plenty of moments that will make you laugh throughout the series but there are also some serious parts. I think funny and serious moments were balanced out perfectly. You'll also love the bonds that are created between the different characters as well. The friendships and relationships are done really well.
The final will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat! It was a suspenseful end.
One thing to note though... Pay attention to Kim Hyun Ji and her clothes and how she gets them. I'm still questioning how she got her later clothes.
Overall this is a great show I'd watch again.

Due to extremely busy work life, I hardly had any time to watch drama. Now that I have more time in my hand, I decided to follow Let's Fight, Ghost the moment it aired.

And I didn't regret my decision. I watched this because of So Hyun, I really like her acting. The story are very interesting, the first half of the drama is so funny and romantic. The second half touched more on the relationship between the main leads and how they are related. At some parts, it reminds me of My Girlfriend is a Gumiho where the main female lead really want to be a human to be with her beau.

The ghosts ain't that scary, for I can't really tolerate ghosts stuffs but the ghosts in this drama are all either so funny or will bring up that emotions in you. Episode 10 is my favorite side story, go watch it if you want to know why.

I really like So Hyun here, she is so brilliant. She played the fight scenes well, and she acted as the cute girlfriend well too. This is the first Taecyeon's drama for me, so I must say he did well here. The comedic pairing of Cheon Sang and In Rang is one of the best thing in this drama. I love their relationship, they are so entertaining from the beginning until the end.

The music ain't a strong factor in this drama but the songs are all pleasant to hear. I really like the sound effects during comedy scenes of Cheon Sang and In Rang, you can't help but to laugh.

If you want to watch something that is not heavy, with a bit of every genre to stir your feels, you can watch this drama. I really like it, recommended.

just very ordinary drama

first of all there isn't much in it to say or describe about this show .,

there is no strong story to root or connect with the characters ,it goes very plain and no twists and turns. And most importantly I feel like the affection between main leads was not impressive .Comedy also not worked well for me except that two friends .
Maybe because i expected more but i had zero expectations before i started this cause i liked watching OH MY GHOST so picked up similar subject and disappointed a lot.

however the duration is less than 1hr so bearable enough to complete the show .but i don't recommend it .

The makeup artists did a really good Job at making the ghosts/ demons look very like their role There is comedy in every episode. It gets really confusing in the middle of the season because releases a lot of plot twists. I love now they find out the back story of all the ghosts at the mental hospital. A lot of gruesome acts were happening there. I can't spoil any more of that for you so, you have to watch it for yourself. some ghosts in this are good and some are bad. some are really dangerous/powerful while others are quiet, shy and not very powerful. Towards the ending of the drama big, big secrets will be revealed. Like, really important ones that Piece everything together.

I picked it up for Kim So Hyun and she did not disappoint!

A really non-scary horror genre drama that is pretty procedural. The main leads have very cute chemistry (which is to be expected given the real life age difference) that never progressed past cutesy love.

Taecyeon was also very cute in this and I thought there was a good job by the casting. His acting is a bit stiff but worked well in this context as the boy who can see ghosts all his life.

Villain's acting was excellent and was often creeped out.

Also a very satisfying ending with great support cast as well.

If you're looking for a cute and simple romance drama with a ghost spin this might be for you. It doesn't really break any molds and in a lot of ways is just your typical kdrama, but overall it's a pleasant watch. The episodes revolve around the blossoming romance between a Bong Pal who can see ghosts and Hyun Ji, an energetic, playful ghost who's trying to recover her memory and in most of the episodes there's a battle with a particular evil ghost/spirit. The plot isn't the most original so I basically just watched it for the cute romance between Bong Pal & Hyun Ji.

Kim So Hyun as Kim Hyun Ji was adorable. She really was. Her character was full of energy and spunk and I felt like she was really strong in her role as leading lady. I also enjoyed watching Taecyeon (Park Bong Pal) on screen but it felt like he was holding back a little, and not as strong in his role as the main lead should be. But I still found him entertaining and I cheered him on while watching. As a couple Hyun Ji and Bong Pal had really good chemistry and they had such a cute puppy love kind of relationship! I really liked their scenes together and found myself grinning a lot while watching. I could feel how much fun they had filming while watching.

I also loved Kang Ki Young as Cheon Sang and Lee David as In Rang. I love Kang Ki Young, he is seriously one of the funniest actors that I've seen in kdramas and he and Lee David really carried this drama for me in a lot of ways. Ki Young just knows how to really let loose and is not afraid of being over the top with his characters. His acting is really natural despite him acting so extra. Cheon Sang's interactions with In Rang were super funny and their friendship was so goofy and fun to watch. Lee David I was impressed with as well. I've never seen him in this kind of comedic role but he made his character was really adorkable and lovable! Cheon Sang and Lee David were my favorite characters in this whole drama.

So for the things I didn't like: The flipping Monk!!!! There's also a lot of the annoying kdrama cliches in this and I mean the frustrating kind. *Spoilers* As in the parent figure overstepping their boundaries and controlling the main leads life and the classic I'm gonna break up with you and lie about why because it's for your own good. It was just unnecessary drama and kind of soured the whole cute fun-loving vibe that this drama was succeeding at. There are also a lot of plot holes in this drama, so you have to just acknowledge that there are and move on. I also feel like this drama starts off really slow, and I personally didn't really get into it until episode 7 and that's almost halfway through. It didn't help that I'd watched Oh My Ghostess before this (it's impossible not to compare them), so the fact that I've seen that and loved it, I just kept finding myself comparing some really similar plot points and just finding this to be not as well done. The villain in this wasn't well written and smart either. Yes he was creepy, but that's about it.

So, if you like the whole ghosts genre, light romance, or action and comedy then you'll probably like this. I did enjoy the watch overall, but it took me a while to get into it and I can't say it set itself apart as anything original.

Good Human On Supernatural Tv-show

All things considered, there's not much to say about "Bring it on Ghost". A very easy story to follow (to the point it's actually not really creative nor original in any way) surrounded by young, talented actors, provides an entertaining show that would, subtetly, make its way in your mind.
To achieve this, there's not so much involved (essentially, this drama rhythm is quite good, if you except the useless yet funny comic duo scenes) yet it proves there was some work from the writers/director to carefully craft this show into something valuable for the viewers.
So while there's not much to expect from this drama, there's a very good chance you're going to spend a good and entertaining moment, and if that's all it was ever needed for you, this show is a must-see.
