STORY PLOT - Without giving away any big or even small spoilers... the way the story was woven together and all the connections that were revealed were done well. It didn't seem like they were just slapped together like in some shows.
ROMANCE - There is almost nothing I love more than a forbidden love story between two people meant to be together who fight all the odds and do their best to end up together anyways. Especially if one is human and the other is a "supernatural being."
You should definitely give this show a chance if you're interested. It never gets boring or draggy, at least not for me. It'll keep you wanting more after every episode ever.
Fair warning... I took off a .5 from the total score because of a poor animal (you'll see what i mean when it happens). So be careful about that one.
Other than that, though, this is a great show! Watch and you won't regret it.

This drama caught me off guard; I didn't think that I would love this drama as much as I did. As weird as it is to say out loud (or write it in a review on a well known public website), I was so invested in this drama, that I would dream about it at night (continuing where I left off) so when I woke up in the morning, I forgot where I really left off and what I made up. It's never happened before, so it was a weird experience. I thought this was going to be a cute drama to fill the time - I was on vacation in Indonesia during October, so I spent my Spooky Season in 90 degree weather, and I desperately wanted to watch all my Spooky Season dramas when I came back. Regardless if Spooky Season was over. I wanted my ghost dramas! And yes, this drama was extremely cute, but it was so much more. Actually, I thought this drama was so well done that 50% of it was a cute and silly story about a "ghost" and human learning to to trust one another as well as let other in (and fall in love of course) and the other 50% was them fighting "bad ghosts" together, and let me tell you, whoever did their make up deserves all the awards. I liked how light this drama was when it was about the two mains and their friends, but when they would start ghost hunting, the drama got extremely dark and a little terrifying. I honestly think I teared up a couple of times because the writer really went into the story of each of the ghosts they hunted and overall helped move on to the other side. It was a story about understanding other people and letting others in as well as finding out who you were vs who you wanted to be. Also, the villain in this story was wilding out the whole drama, but you couldn't help (I couldn't help) feeling bad for him. Especially at the end of the drama, it made me sad how everything happened to him to get him to the place he was. But as much as I loved this drama (and the HUGE, but obvious, twist in episode 10/11), there were little things here and there that annoyed me. I said before that 50% was silly and the other 50% was terrifying ghost hunting, but around a good 80% of the first 50, was a lot of filler. The drama was about Bong Pal, the human who could see and hunt ghosts for cash, and Hyun Ji, a ghost who teams up with Bong Pal to pay off a small debt, BUT it was also about Cheon Sang and In Rang's desire to have a successful exorcist business, Seo Yeon's crush on her professor Hye Sung while rejecting Bong Pal's advances, Joo Hye Sung being hella sketchy; and finally Monk Myung Chul trying to solve the mystery of Bong Pal's father's disappearance. Honestly, there was too much going on and so many people to follow, when all I wanted was to see Bong Pal and Hyun Ji's story progress and maybe some minor scenes from everyone else. I eventually got used to Cheon Sang and In Rang's airheadedness, but they really didn't need all those random scenes. Also, there was too much of Hye Sung. I didn't care for her or her little story. She was not a strong character and did not understand why Bong Pal was super obsessed with her. I didn't the vibe that Bong Pal was attracted to only looks, so it confused me that he was into her. She had zero personality. I did, however, love all the scenes with Professor Hye Sung. He was the perfect combination of good and evil. Along with all the filler, I felt like it also had a lot to do with how the main characters were smart people, but THEY NEVER CONNECTED ANY DOTS. I guess it added to the plot that these were normal people who never jumped to conclusions...except for the few times when Bong Pal did with Hyun Ji cause of his trust issues and a secret hatred for ghosts. But there were some scenes where I was like, come on...so and so is literally telling you what to do. Do it. The WHOLE drama was literally about finding this object that will literally kill the evil, so why aren't you using it and just staring while hella people are dying!!? The final battle scene was obviously not up to my standards. But I think the one thing that bothered me the most was the off and on of Bong Pal and Hyun Ji's romance. Once it started, it was amazing, but of course there were going to be people who would tell them that it was impossible which ultimately planted a seed of doubt. First it was Hyun Ji, but whenever she had any doubt, Bong Pal stepped up and was absolutely perfect, but eventually Hyun Ji needed to figure herself out before she could fully let Bong Pal in. Then once she solved her internal struggle, Bong Pal started to battle his. At least with his it was short, but I was annoyed. Like that was the one thing I loved about Bong Pal - how much he loved Hyun Ji and how he would never let her go, even when she left. Homie looked for her day and night until he got sick and still looked for her, and then all of a sudden, he just gives up because someone told him the same thing someone else told her in the beginning. He already knew this information, but all of sudden when he is finally able to break through a little, he stops. Plus, with Bong Pal, it doesn't happen once...it's happens twice. After, when it seems like they are unbreakable, there is an unfortunate incident, and he shuts everyone out, but especially Hyun Ji, for really no logical reason. And he SHUTS HER OUT. It is heartbreaking and I disliked how it literally took something terrible to happen to her for him to snap out of it and act like he wasn't a huge butt. Those are the things I dislike in dramas, this back and forth, hurting the other person instead of talking it out. If ya'll decide to break things off after that, then do that. Relationships are between two people, so one person shouldn't make a decision and implement it without the other's knowledge of the situation. Maybe this drama was too young for me, or maybe I am just a grandma. But I guess a good thing about this drama is that when these scenes happened, the recovery time was appropriately quick instead of lasting a few episodes.
Overall, I think this drama is def my favorite Spooky Time drama and will 100% be on my list next Halloween. Even though there were little things here and there that I didn't like, overall, the drama was unexpectedly really good and the ending is super sweet (even if we have no idea if she recovered her memories or not).

Liked this for paranormal just a few things that fell a tiny bit short
8/10 is my rating. This is a 2016 South Korean supernatural romance tv drama spanning 16, 60 minute episodes. It is also known as Okay Ghost, Let’s Fight. When Park Bong-pal (Ok Taec-yeon) was young, he gained the ability to see ghosts after a failed attempt to completely exorcise an evil spirit from him. Not long after the evil spirit murders his mother by pushing her into traffic. His father has a weapon that would destroy the evil spirit and stays away from his son so the spirit will chase him. From a young age, Bong-pal’s only parental figure and companion is the monk who failed to fully exorcise the spirit. At first he is terrified of the ghosts and his strange behavior makes him a social outcast. He learns he can fight and destroy malicious ghosts to earn money to live on and also save money for a procedure that would take his ghost site away. On one job he encounters Kim Hyun-ji (Kim So-hyun) a ghost of a different sort who begins to follow Bong-pal when she discovers something about him is allowing her to see the events leading up to her death in flashes. In order to get him to help her she agrees to help him fight ghosts that are stronger than he can take on alone. The evil spirit has inhabited the body of one of Bong-pal‘s professors and seems to have an unnatural interest in the duo. Feelings grow between Bong-pal and Hyun-ji but those around remind them their love is impossible.
Spoiler ? I liked the early episodes and found it very interesting as they solved their ghost cases. I liked the romance between the two leads. About half way through it started to feel very predictable. When she came back to her body she was very different than she had been as a ghost and that was a bit disappointing. Still overall I really liked it just thought they could have kept her character more consistent and could have had a better, less predictable, plot twist.

I can say that the MCs did a very, very good job though! Their chemistry is visible and they were true to their characters from start to finish. I love how cute the MCs could be with each other. :)
I like how humor came naturally in this drama too. I can say that the actors did a great job . ^_^
I like how it all ended. I wish there's a part 2!!!

Good Entertaining Romance, Kick-Ass Ghosts Action and Comedy Drama
Just managed to watch this 2016 drama as I chanced upon it on YouTube and found it interesting enough to go to one of the drama websites to watch. And I was not disappointed.I found Bring It On, Ghosts did well on the acting, story line and provided 16 episodes of good entertainment. As the idea of human falling in love with a ghost drama is not new, it was important that the chemistry between Male and Female lead did well together. Ok Taec Yeon and Kim So Hyun led the show satisfactorily and they look good and comfortable as the lead couple. The good thing also is that all other cast members had a fair share of acting to do and the overall feeling was a full and complete show. I laughed, I cried and also enjoyed the tingling light kissing scenes.
The action scenes and the ghosts stories were each interesting to watch too. It was cool to see the Male and Female lead join forces to fight the ghosts. As the show will tell, not all ghosts are bad or have evil intentions.
If this drama was watched week after week during it's release 2016, I would have given it a score of 10 as it is a really good drama. But, because I marathon watched it in 2020, I rate it a strong 9 and do recommend to those who like watching romance, kick-ass ghosts action and comedy.
Cheers! K-drama forever!

Let's Fight Ghost is a must K-DRAMA. Since "spoilers" may ruin the opinion of the watchers, I am not going to tell the whole story. :))So, I was surprised (because for the first time) there is a ghost-story. I promise, it'll make you laugh like crazy. Kim So Hyun is cute (superb) she acts happily she always smiles.
About the love story, at first, I'm slightly hurt because at first "Park Bong Pal" (does not have interest in her) but as soon as the episode forwards he slowly falls for her. :) At first, Kim So Hyun is jealous.
Remember the scene Kim So Hyun said "Yes, Ghost heart's pounds too." hihi. About the *evil vet* , he is so evil than I thought. He's handsome (lol) But "aigo!" he's so evil. At first it made me thought that the (Prof/Vet) is the rival of Park Bong Pal for Kim So Hyun. But nah. HAHA.
This is a MUST watch K-drama. Aigo! Before I forgot, I love the OST of this one. To tell you the truth, it's OST (I Can Only See You) is the first k-pop song that I memorized & learned. So calm! Also see for the other OST's, it's even more fun. One OST of Let's Fight Ghost is sung by "Kim So Hyun." Hope I can help you :). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Have a nice day! Gomawo chiggu!

Like Pizza Delivered Upside Down ~ Could Have Been ⤴️ But It's Just ⤵️ °4.6° °Poor°
I tried to roll along with BIOG, I really did. When watching fiction - especially fantasy - we must hold our suspension of disbelief in order to go along with the show and enjoy it. It's more relaxing to be on the generous side of the issue. Each time we have to dismiss inconsistencies, errors, a clumsy cadence, stupid dialogue or other disappointments, it's like a pinprick. At some point blood starts to gush and one can't let it go anymore. Then almost everything posi+ive drains dry, which is what happened here. This show just doesn't work; it's lifeless. Inconsistencies kept that "little ✒pinch" feeling going. For instance:✒Can people see ghosts, or just evil spirits? It's unclear. We are told that seeing ghosts is something only a few people can do, but as the show goes on, more and more people are seeing ghosts. The viewer can make some guesses as to why this happens, but we shouldn't have to guess. The rules of this world should be explained and then adhered to. Or it hurts.
✒Hyun Ji's wardrobe, and how she is able to obtain, wear and change clothes is inconsistent. Her clothing is a plot driver in some episodes, yet rules about wardrobe laid out early on are bent, broken or tossed out altogether later. While I'm on the subject of costume, when Hyun Ji is wearing black she should have had spike-heeled boots on, not the frumpy-dumpies she wears. How kick@$$ing could she be when wearing them? They only could have helped.
✒She gets wet when it rains but her hair is dry when she comes out of the lake(?)
✒Why don't people see the forks and knives moving and the glasses being raised when ghosts are eating?
✒The police investigate a buried body in the woods and declare that it may not be a natural death? Possibly. What made them think that? Oh, right, the body was BURIED.
✒I'm almost shocked that the two seniors, In Rang and Cheon Sang, who only want to film ghosts in the beginning of the show, seem to forget all about it, and their youtube channel, as the episodes go on. The writer and director just let that aspect float out there and never used it. Letting something so important to the characters just fall away with no reason provided is downright lazy plot and character development.
✒We aren't told how technically skillful In Rang is, early on, so when he magically displays prowess later, it seems to sprout from nowhere.
✒Do we know the monk's actual relationship to Bong Pal? He seems to be an uncle, but if that was stated I missed it. We shouldn't be left to guess.
✒Do we know if Hyun Ji got all of her memories back from her time with Park Bong Pal?
✒What's going on in ep16 when they claim they don't need money and they have to be convinced to earn some? Bizarre.
It's as if they mixed scenes together like four and water. They don't have the sugar and the eggs, so no cake. It's gloop. Instead of a cohesive product that works, they just have a pile of separated scenes that don't combine for a better whole. On top of the inconsistencies and general sloppiness, the soundtrack and sound effects are lackluster.
The acting was fine. The actors suffer from bad directing. It doesn't seem like it's their fault. There appears to be a lack of chemistry, but it's probably a lack of good direction. Joon Hwa Park has a great lineup as a director. Hopefully this is an outlier. Conversely, one of the best things in the show is an incentive twist. That was a pleasant surprise. The villain is well done also, but none of that can bless this offering.
IMHO…

Unique romantic horror comedy
This drama is so unique and cute. I loved it so much, I wish me had unique plots like this one nowadays in kdramas. This drama made me laugh and made me feel all sorts of positive emotions. The feeling after I finished the drama was so satisfying and comforting. I am so glad I watched it, I don't regret it at all. It being 16 episodes was in some ways good in other ways not so much. I only got bored once or twice while watching the show. The acting was really good and the music made the whole drama more beautiful and touching. Was this review helpful to you?
Was it worth it: Eh.
What I liked the most: The constant presence of ghost. Typically they drop the thing that makes the drama interesting when the feels start up, but they kept them around to the bitter end.
What I disliked the most: The suspension of belief in regard to the fighting. They could have toned it down a bit.
Moment Meter: 4/10 – There were a good amount of moments in there.
Other thoughts: The ghosts were spooky! Gave me the creeps. Lots of people died in this drama for multiple reasons. No pulled punches there. The “comic relief” duo did their jobs well without being too obnoxious. The story slowed down towards the end, but the finale was pretty exciting. The overall pacing was kind of strange; quick at times, and then really slow in other places. Maybe I was just impatient for the exciting parts.
Conclusion: Not something I’d rewatch, but I’m not asking the heavens for that chunk of my life back either.

Great story, but not strong on romance
Very interesting premise for a show, and they didn't use too many obligatory Korean cliches. Taecyon and Kim So Hyun were both very good. His character really developed as the show went along (as you would hope) and he went from being a complete loner to finally letting people into his life. She was kind of a stalker toward him early on, but not in an irritating way. She was innocent, but not immature, and very sweet. Kwon Yool does an excellent bad guy and was very creepy. I loved the relationship between the two main characters because they were both misfits in a way, but together they worked. I rated it lower because I'm all about the romance and it was lacking in this show, in order to make time for the story and all the ghosts. I also don't like open eye kisses (and one of them you could tell that they weren't actually even touching each other) and the ending was very weak. Was this review helpful to you?
This ghost is neither funny nor scary
Am not a fan of the horror genre but still, I tried to watch this because I saw a clip of funny ghosts' interaction with humans. But I was highly disappointed the clip I saw was the only funny thing in the drama too. til the 11th episode, 70 percent of the screen time was about cooking food and catching ghosts which brought no development to the story. Also, It was so slow that I was tired to watch everything, so I skipped through it. Amnesia and murder mystery could have been written more strongly because it had created a good backstory. If anyone wants to skip, then watch the drama from episode 12, it gains a high pace in uncovering the ghost mystery.
Acting by Kim So Hyun is just excellent. She is one adorable hungry spirit.
Ok Taecyeon was good but he was just average.
Music is not memorable
Rewatch is an absolute NO. I would rather watch that clip of ghost than watch this ghost and human cohabitation.
Afterthought
The cohabitation didn’t feel like happening between a ghost and a human, because she is demanding food, clothes, and studying, she feels like a teenager who is latching onto their guardian.
