Male Leads:
OMG the ML are so similar! Both ML want to live so badly because of what they're searching for. Although Fighter of Destiny's ML has an incurable sickness since birth while Ancient Detective's ML had been poisoned at the beginning of the show, their mindset of never giving up because they want (to live/the truth) is so SIMILAR! I honestly fell in love with these types of characters because they are so strong and powerful despite their "shortcomings" and they capture me with their persistence.
Plot:
I thought both of the plots were quite nice. I'm not very good at reviewing plots but what I can say is that Ancient Detective's plot was very well done because the mysteries definitely captured me in. As for Fighter of Destiny, I thought the plot was quite addicting for me because I always want to see the ML prove everyone wrong and show them that he's actually quite powerful too!
Romance:
The romance in both of these series were so cute! Both had "second female leads" (these characters come in and out but they did a great job nonetheless!) fall for the ML and it was so nice to see second female leads be portrayed as nice girls who really just like someone rather than become mean or twisted with jealousy (the jealousy was there but it wasn't negative). Now, the main leads' romances were so satisfying to watch! For both series, I was cheering how FINALLY the main female leads became honest with their feelings and feel in love.
Finally, if anyone y'all are into falling in love with second leads~
I wanna give a shoutout to the SUPPORT ROLES Ancient Detectives!
Although Fighter of Destiny had great ones too, I feel like Ancient Detectives' support roles were much more immersed in the plot if that makes sense? I really liked how in Ancient Detectives, the support roles didn't came into the scenes and then out when something happens like Fighter of Destiny. Rather, the support roles in Ancient Detectives stuck to the ML and traveled together consistently and became a more tightly-knitted group with a really cute, admirable, and sometimes humourous camaraderie. I think this was probably my first time liking a Second ML so much actually.

They are both Fantasy Historical Chinese drama so similar universe. They have several races who are enemy : the winged clan and human for Novoland and Demon against the human ally to the beast for Fighter. There is training and improve capacity. They are prince in the mains character. The human queen is not tender with her son. The main lead is involve with fate/destiny witch put their life in danger. There is romance and handsome actors ;)
Two stories are somewhat similar when you look at the relationships between the characters.
- Both male leads are outstanding doctors with little experience of fighting at the beginning
- Both female leads are the best disciples of a sect responsible to protect the world.
Fighter of Destiny, because its more extended, has more character growth and more arcs, but the feeling is the same.

They are both Historical Wuxia Chinese dramas. The friendship value, in both dramas, made them worthwhile to watch. The main leads are involved with fate/destiny. Both male leads are very intelligent and try to find their path in life.
Same kind of subtle romance and there is a cute second female lead who wholeheartedly love the male lead and do everything just for him.
In both drama the ending seems disappointing but it is not that bad. With that difference that the male lead in The Taoism Grandmaster doesn't end up with anyone there.
Both drama are really interesting and I highly recommend everyone to watch them.

Very similar world with magic and dragons.
The main similarities are:
Male and Female Lead are singers.
ML unable to cultivate since childhood.
Met female lead when younger.
FL is saintess with great power, but seems aloof. (she's new to acting, however I'd say her performance is about the same as this FL)
Destiny and unlocking levels and great schools and tournaments with rankings.
Powerful evil clan, that provides conflict, but is defeated many times.
My Favorite
Male lead that has a (deep friendship/symbiotic relationship/Master and Servant like relationship) with a non-human female support.
I don't remember any kissing in this, but there is affection. The actors are new.

Birth secrets, great fight scenes and travelling around to unlock mystical secrets. Fu Yao is much closer to a Wuxia drama than a Xianxia drama, and the plot is much more straightforward, the dialogue much easier to understand, and most importantly, is not completely boring to watch. Fighter of the Destiny felt like 52 episodes of talking, and every character except for the Empress was one dimensional.
Please, for your own sake, drop this and go watch Fu Yao instead.

Similar genre as fantasy, wuxia, but with a much better storyline and much better casts. Comparing to this Fighter Of The Destiny, the casts seems a little lack of acting experience, childish, worst, the male lead Lu Han doesn't even match with the female lead Bextiyar G. Where else Noble Aspirations' male lead - Li Yi Feng thou he's quite a "baby face" but not sissy or softy like Lu Han. He played his role as Zhang Xiao Fan and he draws out the the role as it should be, with the popular female lead - Zanilia Zhao, they both are good match with the vibes. And about the storyline's comparisons, Noble Aspirations is... (how should I put it) ... Emm, more to straight to the point & easy to understand without confusions...
Both male leads have an incurable disease or illness. Both male leads are smart and very good at getting out of situations that are dangerous. both male leads are connected in one way or another to the royal family. They also are healer of some sort and help others around them by giving treatment. They also both use there blood to save some causing great harm to themselves. One of the differences are in fighter of destiny he decides to learn how to fight despite his illness but in love in between he fight using his mind by coming up with plans
