This is a must watch! The action, the mystery and the acting was just superb. Everyone must watch it even though it's a little scary, I am the biggest scaredy cat and i still finished it. It might not even be scary to you, so watch it. I Love love love this movie. Tebak:0

Story: for me the story was really different and unique. A blind person's testimony versus a normal person's testimony. Which do you trust? I felt the story was really well written. It was intense, exciting, heartwarming and thrilling. I loved and hated the baddie at the same time because he was beautifully performed but what he did was creepy, chilling and ever so hateful!
Acting: The dog alone should get an Oscar, she was just brilliant and beautiful! Once again Seung Ho shows us his brilliant acting skills, although he has played a troubled teen before the acting and character he played this time was different and I thoroughly enjoyed watching his character grow. Also the chemistry with Ha Neul worked well. Standing ovation for Ha Neul tho! She did an excellent job, you felt her pain and sadness plus her fear. She did a really good job - in You're My Pet she didnt realy stand out and her character was a bit flat so in this movie I was really impressed!! The acting was really touching I cried many times throughout the whole film. The acting really pulls you in and I thought the actors did an excellent job in expressing the emotions and it sucked me into that world. Before I knew it I was rooting for the leads, becoming really protective of the characters (I wanted to kill the stalker myself!!) so if a film has such effect it's bound to be good.
Casting: there was no problem with the casting I thought everyone was perfect for the role. And as i mentioned earlier Ha Neul didnt seem fit at first but she pulled the role off really well.
Music: the music accompanied each scene perfectly. It effectively made the scenes tense and thrilling, sad and heartbreaking. The music made me on the edge of my seat and at the same time curl up in my duvet because it was frightening plus the acting I felt like I was part of it.
Overall: I would definitely watch this again. It provokes a variety of emotions pulling you into the movie. The acting was superb and the story was well written and developed. The only downside would be the ending, I loved the ending but I would have liked to see more!

This was an amazing movie but must be watched with the happiest, fluffiest, brightest movie you can possible find right after! *you will understand when you watch it* The main actress does this amazing job of protraying a blind person. And for some reason its very entertaining to watch Yoo Seung Ho PLAY HIS AGE! (lol!)
A great thriller, not really horror but its graphic (not in the sexual sense). But I WARN you its not for anyone that A) is very sensitive when it comes to death and rape and B) cries whenever the animal adoption harmed puppy dog picture commercial...thing comes on T.V.
Another Great MOVIE that is NOT ROMANTIC!!! (said from a die-hard romance buff...ME)!!!!

Lately I have become interested in Yoo Seung Hoo and that was why I picked this movie. Did not expect too much, but it turned out pretty good.
Blind is a thriller, it's not scary but the thrill makes you watch it to the end. The story is catchy, and does not dissapoint you.The characters are well thought and the actors fulfill their job pretty good as well. I also liked the harmony between two main characters/actors. Another plus is probably the setting and the light. The dark aura of the movie somehow takes you into the plot but does not make you feel depressed. Shame that the music was not good enough to support the acting and the story. If the music would be better, I guess the movie would be more succesfull.
If you would like to watch it again? I guess not.
So why am I recommending it? Well If you are bored of cheesy love stories or blood covered thrillers, this your movie, to pass time.
Basically it is a good movie.
PS: I definitely admired the solutions the Koreans have found for disabled people...Two thumbs up...

This review may contain spoilers
WARNING: part of my review contains a tiny spoiler, but first, it's only really a spoiler if you are familiar with classic American films and second, I'll separate that part from the rest of the review for those who haven't seen the film. Now, on to my review. First off, I just want to go ahead and say that this is classified as a CRIME/THRILLER film. This means that if you were searching for something with a lot of romance and sunshine and rainbows... I'm not quite sure how you got here but you're in the wrong place. From the get-go, this movie starts out tugging at your heartstrings as it shows just HOW our protagonist looses her eyesight. If you aren't good with scary, but still want to watch this, I'd say go for it... but wait until daylight and call a friend over. The acting in this film is superb and the plotline, for the most part, is very original (more on that in the spoiler section). I've rewatched this several times now, and still find it amazing!

{SPOILERS}
The one thing that really bothered me was that during the climax of the film, there is a scene that is eerily similar to the 1967 Audrey Hepburn film "Wait Until Dark". It was honestly too similar for me to thing anything other than that the idea had been taken. Other than that, an overall great film!

Story: Let's be honest, it's not original. I've watched, at least, one other movie where the witness of a crime is blind. It, also, falls into thriller movie cliches, which makes it ordinary, but that doesn't not mean it's not good. It's actually quite absorbing and you can't help but to give all your attention to it. Also, I love the camera work and the way they blended the world of the blind with the world of the seeing in some scenes.
Acting/Cast: I liked the acting. I thought the ways the characters interacted with each other were very good. I'll admit I had my reserves about it after watching Kim Ha Neul in "You Are my Pet". She had failed to impress me in it. But I'm glad I watched this. She plays a totally different character than she did in YAMP, and does a really good job of it. Yoo Seung Ho is quite impressive in it too.
Music: To be honest, it wasn't bad, but it's quite forgettable. But it did what it was supposed to do in the moment, accompany the actions and pace of the movie.
I'll re-watch this movie eventually since I really enjoyed it.

One thing I would like to mention before I go on is a warning for young children. I recommend that you get permission to watch this film as it is not for children and not really child friendly. I have a feeling that the Chinese one will be more family friendly then this one though. But, I have no real proof to back that up as of yet. Maybe it is the trailers or maybe it is because of the last Chinese remake I saw,''Back to 20'' a remake of ''Miss Granny''.
The ending took a twist I was not expecting. So, beware the ending, there is a chance that you will dislike it greatly. Also, this is not a romance movie, so, therefore do not expect any romance. The bromance in this movie is quite lacking as well.
But, I did like this movie and I did not mind the ending. I found the movie very nice for the most part and I think it is one of the better movies of South Korea.

This movie is seriously so good.
I watched this because of Yoo Seung Ho and he nailed this role.Story: This story is pretty good except it was very vague like why the criminal did what he did and there are some parts where Kim Ha Neul's character did piss me off but overall it's a good plot line. It was super scary though... I agree with the other review lol there were scenes that did scare me shitless man *excuse the language that's how scary it was for me* but nonetheless I finished it and liked it.
Acting: BRILLIANT. Yoo Seung Ho though!! Great acting & Kim Ha Neul's acting was impressive. I felt all of their emotions-- awesome acting! Also shoutout to the dog! Seulki deserves an award and I hope that dog is unharmed... I am not a dog lover but that scene was painful to watch... hey Korea lets not kill dogs like that ok? lol..
Music: I didn't hear any...? Most of them were creepy anyways... (for effect of course)
Rewatch Value: This is a great movie with amazing acting but like it's so scary... like no... I would never ever ever ever ever in my right mind rewatch this movie lol... and don't watch this at night please... I'm a chicken but I'll rate the rewatch value as a person who isn't.
Overall: I RECOMMEND. But. Not rewatching. Lol.

first of all Kim na huel is a good actress..i loved her in some previous works but here she does a fantastic job of portraying a blind woman.her acting could almost bring tears.that's how good she is.Seung ho is a young actor but he's got potential and does a good job in this one though i hated his hairstyle.keeps one away from noticing how handsome he is..:D
the story revolves around murder and is full of those suspence moments so as to keep you on edge.mind you you won't be able to leave your laptop for a second coz u'd be desperate to know wht's gonna happen..is someone gonna die or is someone goin to be murdered.this movie delivers it all to make it a worthwhile watch
it's one of those movies that will scare you a bit..but at the same time it'l make us remeber the never ending struggle of the human heart to strive for better.to acheive something that the world says one cant.
give this one a try.im sure you will end up liking it..:)

story is really good, however it is predictable. it is predictable probably because we are aware of criminal from start of movie. but being predictable doesnt put the movie in a disadvantage. Its all about how a clever blind ex-cop fights with cold blooded psychotic bastard in a defenseless way. kim na heul did her part really well. there were certain chases which are nail biting and suspensful. also bond between characters were established well.
however there are certain flaws i dont want to put it here because it will spoil the little suspense it has. but i guess movie managed to turn out well. cinematography is good. especially when we were made to imagine how it will be for blind person using her other senses.
cast did it job. yoo seung ho played a punk character. he played for his age here. kim na heul has put her emotions neatly. i love her part in climax.
overall, one can enjoy this movie without having much expectations.
